~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [11-11-2023] Focus: The Victim Mentality III The word for today The victim mentality is a limiting perception that hinders a person due to self-imposed restrictions, often expressed as "I cannot." This mindset can obstruct one from realizing God's full purpose for their life! ************************************ Scriptural Reference " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Bible verse reminds us that with God's strength, we can overcome all obstacles. It's essential not to underestimate yourself just because you may not seem favoured in certain aspects of life. Never compromise your faith due to perceived lack. The victim mentality may drive people to resort to undesirable actions. Face your challenges head-on and rise above them. Be true to your calling; do not allow life's circumstances to mold you into someone you never intended to become. God provides the power to attain wealth, not the wealth itself. If you search within, you'll find the power to achieve greatness. A victim mentality suppresses this inherent ability. It stifles the divine potential meant to set people free in fulfilling their destinies. Consider the inspiring examples of individuals with disabilities who rose to greatness, refusing to let their limitations define them. Their disabilities did not make them liabilities but rather empowered them to become assets. Being poor can be a choice when one views their disability as a reason to rely on others. Victim mentality is closely related to an entitlement mentality. Embrace the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, deserving of respect, and capable of achieving remarkable things. Are you free from the shackles of a victim mentality? Dear God, help me overcome any victim mentality that may be holding me back, and grant me the strength to walk in dominion in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis The victim mentality stifles a person's potential, but embracing God's guidance and being willing opens limitless possibilities for achievement and success! Have a Blessed Weekend! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [10-11-2023] Focus: The Victim Mentality II The word for today The victim mentality is a mindset that convinces an individual that the challenges they face are insurmountable and that they must forever dwell in a state of defeat to elicit assistance from others! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (1Corinthians 10:13 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In every situation of life, you must be mindful of the fact that no challenge is insurmountable and that God's faithfulness provides a way of escape. When confronting life's difficulties, our first instinct should not be to seek the assistance of others but to recognize the extraordinary gifts bestowed upon us by God. He has entrusted us with the strength to bear the burdens that come our way. It is only when we resolve to cease relying on external aid that we can truly stand on our own two feet. God, in His infinite grace, has already showered us with countless blessings, rendering us self-sufficient. While there may be moments in life when we require support, particularly during trying times or when we are still finding our footing, it is crucial to remember that dependency on others should not become a way of life. Rather, it is essential to draw upon the wellspring of strength that lies within us, granted by God, to overcome adversity and extend a helping hand to others. The victim mentality, which can lead one to a life of perpetual dependence, is a mindset that we must break free from. Our journey towards liberation from this mindset commences when we fully embrace the understanding that we are designed to be a source of blessing, not a burden, to those around us. Are you free from the shackles of a victim mentality? Dear God, help me overcome any victim mentality that may be holding me back, and grant me the strength to walk in dominion in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis The path to true strength and self-reliance begins with casting aside the victim mentality and embracing a mindset of empowerment and resilience! Have a Superb Friday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [09-11-2023] Focus: The Victim Mentality The word for today The victim mentality is a cognitive and emotional state that can lead a person to live as a beggar, constantly seeking help and living in misery. It is a thought pattern that hinders individuals from taking responsibility for their lives! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When someone falls into the trap of a victim mentality; they frequently find themselves seeking external solutions to their problems rather than proactively addressing them. This mentality attributes life's challenges, failures, and difficulties to external factors, such as bad luck, other people's actions, or unjust circumstances, making the individual feel like life is happening to them rather than being something they can actively influence or control. However, this way of thinking can keep a person in a state of perpetual dependence, seeking assistance and relief from others while avoiding taking charge of their own life. The victim mentality often leads to a sense of helplessness and a cycle of misery, as individuals may become trapped in a pattern of continually seeking support and making excuses rather than taking ownership of their actions. In contrast to this disempowering perspective, the Bible offers guidance on adopting a more proactive and resilient approach to life's challenges. 2 Timothy 1:7, James 1:2-4, and 1 Corinthians 10:13 encourage individuals to see trials and difficulties as opportunities for growth, maturation, and strengthening their faith. Instead of living as beggars, you are encouraged to become responsible and resilient in the face of challenges, relying on faith and trusting that God provides the means to endure difficulties. This perspective promotes personal responsibility and self-reliance, helping individuals break free. Are you taking responsibility for your life? Lord! Help me to always take the required responsibility for my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis Embracing personal responsibility and resilience, as encouraged by biblical wisdom, empowers individuals to break free from the cycle of misery associated with the victim mentality and proactively navigate life's challenges! Have an Inspired Thursday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [08-11-2023] Focus: Character is Everything The word for today No matter how wonderful the plan of God may appear to be in the life of a man; he will end up becoming miserable if he lacks character. Your gift is capable of placing you high but it takes character to sustain your height in every facet of life! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." (1Timothy 4:12 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of those things the Lord does for those who became and will become a useful instrument in His hands is that He takes them through a process of character development. Irrespective of what God wants to achieve with your life, if you lack character it will amount to nothing. There are several men out there who detest every act that has to do with normal and due process. They hate righteousness and boycott every process meant to prepare them for the fulfillment of their mandate. Such will not but fail in destiny; it is a matter of time. It takes good character to sustain a home, business, academics, career, job, ministry, and any position of leadership. Your character is a factor that determines how far you will go and the perspective of your journey in destiny. Nothing good will work well in the hands of a man who lacks the required character to do well. Submit yourself to every divine process meant to shape your life into fulfilling your divine purpose in life. What is your attitude towards various processes meant to shape your life into the original plan of God for your life? Lord! Help me to always yield myself to every divine process meant to shape my life into your plans for my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis Your character is a factor that determines if you will be what God wants you to be! Have a Promising Wednesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [07-11-2023] Focus: Detesting all Kinds of Food The word for today The first and foremost best medication required for a man to stay alive and healthy is good food. Whatever makes you abhor food takes you to the gate of death! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death." (Psalm 107:18 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An indication that a man is advancing towards the gate of death will be seen when his soul abhors all manner of food. To go forth in life and fulfill your mandate in destiny you must avail yourself to eat appropriately. The recommendation of God to Elijah to go on with the assignment given to him is to eat. Men will fall sick and when this happens, the first medication is food, which is to be followed by whatever is required to be taken to restore good health. Don't allow your ailment to hinder you from eating. Every effort made to prevent you from eating is an effort made towards the gate of death. This is also applicable to your spiritual, marital, career, and academic life. You have to give these aspects of your life what it requires. The word of God is the best food for your soul. When you stop eating or feeding your soul with the required food in various aspects of life you sign up for death! + What type of food do you feed your soul? Lord! Help me to avail myself to feed my soul with good food to stay fit and healthy in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: It takes eating all manner of good food to stay healthy and fit for the fulfillment of your purpose in life! Have a Graceful Tuesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [05-11-2023] Focus: The Lord Cares The word for today When the situation of your life appears as if God has slept over it, know that it is time to come much closer to him to seek His intervention over it. Whatever the case may be, be ever mindful that the Lord cares! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" (Mark.4.38 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In this life, we may be faced with different issues of life which bring about different questions in our hearts. With the prior knowledge of what God can do and what He is doing in the lives of other men may prompt us to ask if the Lord cares about us. Can we say the Lord cares? when your heart is pained too deeply for mirth or song and the way grows weary and long; When your way is dark with nameless dread and fear, as the daylight fades into deep night shades and it seems as if God doesn't care enough to be near. Can we say the Lord cares? When you have tried and failed in various aspects of life; to resist some temptation strong; when for our deep grief there is no relief, though our tears flow all night long? Sometimes, men have to say “goodbye” to the dearest on earth; sickness and diseases often kill our hope to live on to fulfill destiny. In all these, you must be mindful of the fact that you are passing through the test of faith and the fact that He cares. In every circumstance, His heart is touched with your grief. The right orientation needed for successful living as you go in destiny is to believe without wavering that the Lord cares for you. Does the Lord care about you? Lord! I know you care so much about me; perfect that which concerns me in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis When the days are weary and the long nights are dreary, our Lord cares. Have a Delightful Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [04-11-2023] Focus: The power of your knowledge The word for today Your power and strength as a child of God depend on what you know about Christ and what He has done for you. If you don't know your right as a child of God, the devil will continue to oppress and make you prey! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32 NKJV). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The most important strategy the devil uses to win people over to himself to oppress them, is not to stop them from engaging in spiritual activities, praying in Jesus' name, taking them away from God's people, or stopping them from speaking spiritual language but to change their orientation, believe, faith and the assurance they have in the word of God. The devil succeeded in doing this to Adam and Eve. He is still in the same business; using the weapon of various life experiences. Your experience will sometimes tend to bring you into confusion about your beliefs and the truth you know. You must never allow your experiences to alter the truth meant to set you free. No experience can be greater than the word of God which is already settled in Heaven. Do you know the truth? Lord! I will not be deceived; I receive the grace to stand and live by the truth in your word in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: The Truth meant to set you free which you know, is the first and foremost target of the devil; the enemy of your soul! Have a Fantastic Weekend! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [03-11-2023] Focus: God has done wonderful things The word for today You can only count your blessings when you look back to see how much the Lord has done for you and how far He has brought you! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth." (Isaiah 25:1 NKJV). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What we are looking forward to, for God to do in our lives is our major source of worry. Hence, a man eaten up by the cares and worries of this life can neither serve nor worship God appropriately. Even though faith demands that we should Hope and quietly wait for the salvation of God in every affair of our lives, we must reference God in whatever situation we find ourselves having this assurance that all will be well. Looking forward reveals what we have not achieved either for ourselves or the fulfillment of God's purpose for our lives in His service. It also presents to us the lives of those ahead in every aspect of life. Therefore, if you must look up to the future you must do that with the eyes of faith; appreciating God who brought you this far. Whatever the case may be with you the fact remains that He has done marvelously in your life before now and on this very note you have an assurance that He will perfect everything concerning your life. Build up your faith to face the future with great confidence by counting your blessings to see how much the Lord has done. Have you taken time to take an inventory of what the Lord has done for you? Lord! I Bless You for what You have done, doing, and will do In my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis What the Lord has done in your life are those things some people are still trusting Him for; don't hesitate to worship Him in every situation of life! Have a Spectacular Friday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ Happy New Month ________________________________ [01-11-2023] Focus: Exercising Your Will The word for today Every test of life will always come as an opportunity to exercise your will. The best way to exercise your will is to make God's will your will! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live! (Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When God wants to prove a man, He does that by giving him an exclusive right to exercise His will. It is in this that God will know the real personality of a man. Right from the beginning of the world, He has never forced His will on any man. When the Lord placed the man in the garden of Eden He gave him an option of life and death subjected to his will. Adam exercised his will against God's will; He put the entire human race into an everlasting problem. Similarly, when the children of Israel were about to enter into the promised land he also gave them an option of life and death. In like manner as long as you live and proceed in destiny you will be allowed to exercise your will between life and death. A man may think within himself that despite doing whatever he likes nothing happened to him, God is only giving such an opportunity to exercise his will towards life or death. A wise man will humble himself and always put his will under God's will. Allow God to work in you to do His good pleasure. Be mindful of the fact that you were created to fulfill God's will. Your life must be aligned according to His will. How are you exercising your will? Lord! Renew my will from day to day blend it with yours and take away every hindrance to doing your will in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis Life will always allow you to choose between life and death! Have an Impressive Month Ahead! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [31-10-2023] Focus: Having the Right Feeling The word for today The right type of life begins with having the right feeling. All will be well with you if you truly believe and have the expectation that all is well! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living."(Psalm 27:13 NIV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No matter what happens to you or what your experience is as you proceed in destiny; you must not allow it to get the best of your feelings. You need the right type of feeling to do something right and exceptional. You must learn how to take a stand on what you expect from various issues of life. In the parable of the talent, the man who received one talent felt that the Master was not fair to him; hence, he became unproductive. The same applies to all men who felt God was not fair to them in terms of blessing, anointing, and various resources placed at their disposal. To have the best in every facet of life the best feelings are required. A man who has the feeling of failure, disappointments, and bad luck will never experience success and prosperity except for God's mercy. + Do you face issues in life with the right feeling? No matter what happens; I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis Your faith determines the feelings that define your experience. Your feelings play an important role in what God will do in your life! Have a Blessed Tuesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [29-10-2023] Focus: You Must be Born Again The word for today Whatever you see is what you can become. You must be born again if you must see the kingdom of God! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Do not marvel that I said to you, "You must be born again." (John 3:7 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The kingdom of God is the government of God in every domain of life. There is no other way to bring God into the helm of the affairs of your life, than having access to the great things He offers, partaking in His glorious inheritance, and having a nature to hear and respond to Him than being born again. A man will continue to operate outside what God planned and prepared for him until he becomes born again. There are several men who by privilege have been under several spiritual incubation whose lifestyle does not portray godliness. The reason behind the fruitless labour of the people of God on these men is that they are not born again. No matter what you do they can neither see the kingdom of God nor be useful for God's purpose. You must be born again if you must have anything to do with God. Becoming born again gives a man the affinity to know God, hear from Him, and see things the way He sees them. Surrender your life to Christ Jesus this moment; accept Him and tell Him to come into your heart to live His life in you! Are you Born Again? Lord! Live your life in me in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: If you so desire the kingdom of God you must be born again! Have an Awesome Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [27-10-2023] Focus: Friendship with the world The word for today Righteousness and worldliness do not mix, a move towards worldliness is an automatic deviation from righteousness. Whatever you become at the expense of the life God desires for you makes you His enemy and keeps you out of His purpose! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." (James 4:4 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Worldliness is a friendly enemy that manifests in three dimensions - the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one 's resources or the stability of earthly things]. When a man exhibits these qualities he becomes the enemy of God. There is no way a man whose passion tends towards worldliness will be righteous. When a man loves the world the price to pay is the Love of the Father. The option given to the Lord Jesus to detach him from His purpose is the glory of the world. Your appearance, actions, and inaction with respect to various issues of life speak of your values and the quiet desire of your heart. Worldliness is a powerful tool of the devil to adulterate the service and every good intention of men. The price to pay in every bid to maintain a friendship with worldliness is great and costly. Do not sacrifice your peace, place in God's purpose, the life God wants to give, and eternity on the altar of worldliness. Every blessing associated with worldliness makes you the enemy of God! What do you want to become at the expense of the Life God desires for you? Can you afford to be an enemy of God? Lord! I receive the grace not to be caught in the deceitfulness of worldliness in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: Godliness and worldliness do not mix, a man will lose out on what he should be in God's purpose when he maintains a friendship with the world! Have a Wonderful Friday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [23-10-2023] Focus: Certainty of Life The word for today Many things in life will remain uncertain but in everything we do or achieve in life we must never forget that we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." (1Timothy 6:7 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Even though it is not certain what you will get out of life and no one actually promised us tomorrow; the fact remains that death is certain and when it comes we will take nothing out of the world in the manner we came naked. We have seen men who had several lands and estates but were not even given a small portion of land for burial. Some children resolved not to bury their dead mother or father in the premises of the house he/she built because it would devalue the value of the house either for rent or sale. When a man dies, he becomes a liability. All that he has will be shared among people who know or feel nothing about his labour. Hence, be mindful of the words of Christ which says: do not worry about life but seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness(Matt 6:25-33). Serve God with whatever you have, lay your treasure in heaven, and make an impact on the lives of men. This is the best way to live. What are you labouring for? Lord! Help me to live a purposeful life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: It is only the treasure you can transfer to heaven that is truly your own! Have a Purposeful Week Ahead! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [20-10-2023] Focus: A Noisy Brass and a Clanging Cymbal The word for today A man tends towards becoming irrelevant in various domains of life if he does not have love. Every good thing in life can only be preserved through love! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal." (1Corinthians 13:1 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is the essence of a man from whom you cannot gain anything? People will not but desert a man who is not the epitome of love. Irrespective of what a man appears to be and what he stands for, the fact remains that he is nothing if his testimony as far as love is concerned is negative. The primary essence of our existence is to love and to be loved. No man can make a mark in the sand of time without love. Most of the good things we enjoy today are the product of the sacrifices of some men who laboured to ensure that generations to come to have a better life. What benefit is a leader or follower in any domain of life whose existence is not a blessing? What gift will such give to his world in the days of his opportunities? Whatever you truly love will take much of your sacrifices. You can't afford to leave every scene of life without being remembered for love. Every man who comes and will come in contact with you will leave with an impression of whether you are loving or not; whether you are a blessing or not. How relevant do you think you are in the heart of men? Lord! My impact in the sand of time will not be empty, make me an epitome of love in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis The existence of a man becomes irrelevant if he doesn't have love! Have a Lovely Friday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [19-10-2023] Focus: Characteristics of Evil Seeds The word for today Evil seeds are planted to hinder the productivity of good seeds. The glorious expected end of the life of a man is the main target of every enterprise of the devil! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared." (Matthew 13:26 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Whatever the evil one does is aimed at destroying an expected end. Sometimes, the evil one will not stop you from doing the things you know how to do for God but he will ensure that it is accompanied by the work of flesh. Consider a man of God who goes about doing the work of God and blessing many lives with his ministry but is unfaithful with the unrighteous mammon (money) and also struggles with lust in his heart; he may not see this as a major problem in his life until he gets to the judgment throne of God. The seed of the evil sown into the life of Samson the day he met with Delilah only manifested the day he lost his anointing on her lap and when they plucked out his two eyes at a time he least expected. Evil seeds when given time to grow will bring about a great magnitude of destruction. Is there any tares among your wheat? Lord! Destroy every evil seed in my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: Evil seeds manifest at the time of rest to destroy the joy of a man! Have a Joyous Thursday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [17-10-2023] Focus: The Enemy has Done This The word for today Differentiating between what the Lord has done and that which the enemy has done is critical to your peace, rest, success, and victory in every facet of life. Irrespective of what you have experienced or feel about life, God does not do evil! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "He said to them, "An enemy has done this." (Matthew 13:28a NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Lord Jesus presented this parable to make it very clear to us that no matter how good the seed planted in the field given to a man, the fact remains that the enemy can as well plant his evil seed at every slightest opportunity when men become lethargic. Right from the beginning of the world, it is a fact that everything made by God was not just good but very good (Gen1:31). In Matt 13:24, the sower which represents God sowed good seed. Hence, every appearance of evil and evil itself in whatever form is the work of the enemy - the devil. Whatever you see in your life that appears like an anomaly with respect to good things according to God's plan for your life; is the work of the enemy which must be resisted. Do not be complacent nor be careless about any issue in your life that has an appearance of evil. Seek the intervention of God over it! Is there any tares among the wheat of your life? Lord! Uproot every tare among the wheat of my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: When there is evil, the evil one has performed his enterprise! Have a Graceful Tuesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [15-10-2023] Focus: While Men Slept The word for today Every lethal attitude a man puts up in every domain of life gives the enemies the required space to perform their enterprise. To eat the good fruit of your labour you must be alert and be alive to your responsibilities! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. (Matthew13.24-15 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the bible verse, it was recorded that "a man" sowed a good seed but "men slept". The implication of this is that God is the sower but the men who slept were those he put in charge of the land. Right from creation whatever God does is good and any appearance of evil is the work of the enemy. The passage also makes it clear that this enemy needs men to sleep to perform his evil act. Hence, this indicates the fact that the devil himself is a coward. His ultimate strategy against all men is to ensure that they become lethal to provide an allowance for his enterprise. There is no doubt in the fact that the Lord has given you a good land (Marriage, Children, Ministry, Career, business, etc). The only way to stop the devil from sowing tares among your wheat is to be alive to your responsibilities and nurture the good land given to you by God with prayers, His word, complete obedience, and spiritual and physical expertise according to the will of God for your life. Are you alive to do the will of God? Lord! May I not sleep the sleep of death, Help me to be always alive to my responsibilities in Jesus' name. Amen!!l Emphasis: The devil needs your sleep in every domain of life to do his evil act! Have a Gracious Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [11-10-2023] Focus: The Mystery of Destiny The word for today There is more to this life than what we see, know, and experience. Many things will remain unknown until they are unfolded as the days go by! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "For we were born yesterday, and know nothing Because our days on earth are a shadow." (Job 8:9 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Most of our experiences and the battles we face in life is a battle against our destiny. God is using every situation around you to place you on the path of destiny. Don't consider it strange when your plans are disrupted and you are forced to do what and go where was never in your plans. Job woke up on a certain day and lost everything he had before the sunset. Joseph left home to seek the welfare of his brother but eventually found himself as a slave in Egypt within a short time. The issues around his life led him to the place of his destiny. The fact is that we know nothing about our future and what will be our lot in the next moment calls for the need to trust God and hold Him on His word that all will be well with us as He leads us through the journey of destiny! What do you think you know about your destiny? Lord! My destiny will not fail, lead me through the journey of destiny in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: We need God to lead us through our pilgrimage because the destiny of a man will remain a mystery! Have a Graceful Wednesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [08-10-2023] Focus: Waiting on God The word for today Waiting on God is an exclusive part of your consecration. If you must have the life God wants to give you; you must know how to wait upon the Lord for everything! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You will only find strength in God to fulfill your purpose if you wait upon God. The best of the life the Lord wants to give a man may never be possible if he does not know how to wait upon the Lord. Waiting is a way of life and a way to build up the required strength for every blessing of life. Don't settle for less than what God reserved for your life; find grace under God to be patient enough to allow the promises of God for your life to come to maturity. Are you waiting on God? Lord! I receive the grace to wait on you and have the life you want to give me in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: Waiting upon God is waiting for the best prepared for you! Have a Superb Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [06-10-2023] Focus: Call upon God The word for today God is the ultimate source of safety and prosperity on our journey through life, and it's essential to cultivate the habit of calling upon Him in every situation we encounter! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested. (1Chronicles 4:10 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Throughout life, there will be moments that compel us to seek help, and when such times arise, we should never hesitate to turn to God. There are situations beyond our capacity to resolve, requiring divine intervention. The story of Jabez illustrates this point vividly. Despite facing challenges and adversity, he held onto hope, believing that things could improve and new possibilities could emerge. Jabez experienced a remarkable transformation when he turned to God for assistance. His request led to divine blessings, an expansion of his horizons, and a life of safety and well-being. If you're discontented with your life's circumstances or grappling with various challenges, consider taking a different path by seeking God's intervention. In every life situation, approach God's throne with confidence, for it is there that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in your time of need (Heb 4:16). Have you cultivated the habit of calling on God? Prayer Point: Lord! Bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from evil and pain in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: When faced with life's challenges, remember that seeking God's intervention, can lead to transformative blessings, safety, and a brighter future! Have a Superb Friday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [05-10-2023] Focus: I will help you The word for today The Lord is fully dedicated to aiding anyone who places their trust in Him and seeks His assistance. As you continue on your journey through life, always remember that God has made a solemn promise to lend you His help! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you," says the LORD And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel" (Isaiah 41:14 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Regardless of one's status, everyone requires assistance in various aspects of life, as every individual created by God is inherently in need; the distinction among people lies in the scope of their needs. We all have limitations in what we can achieve independently and where our resources and experiences can take us on life's journey. Thus, our need for God is constant. The Lord is well aware of the limitations in our lives, the obstacles to our success and aspirations, and the times when we feel helpless due to life's challenges. Consequently, God consistently provides assistance along our paths, and it is our responsibility to turn to Him in every time of need. Even when it seems like His help is delayed, God is actively working on our behalf to ensure that things ultimately work for our benefit. His help may appear to be deferred, but it remains the only genuine assistance. To truly receive help, we must always seek His intervention. In various life situations, it is essential to keep in mind His comforting words: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10). Do you believe that God can help you? Prayer Point: Lord! Do not hesitate to help me at every point of need in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: The Lord is committed to helping you in all situations! Have a Providential Thursday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ Happy New Month ________________________________ [01-10-2023] Focus: Knowing the Truth The word for today The truth you know determines the degree of your deliverance and liberty. You must believe the truth in God's word if you must experience Him in the affairs of your life! ************************************ Scriptural Reference " And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." (John 8:32 AMP). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of those things you cannot kill no matter how much you try is the truth. It existed before the existence of man and will continue to be even when the earth will be no more. A man will be in total darkness until he discovers the truth. The Lord Jesus Christ is the way, truth, and the life. Irrespective of your faith and belief you have not known the truth until you know the word of God through whom all this exists. If what you believe is not His word you have not known the truth and you can never be free. The weapon of warfare that makes a man smart in the battle of life is the truth. You must know whom you have believed in both His attributes and principles if you must win the battle of life. Therefore, the most effective weapon of the devil is lies. When he attacks a man he attacks the truth he knows. This is how he deceived Adam and Eve into sinning against God. Irrespective of your experience, salvation lies in God alone. You will not but always be confronted with the truth about your life each time you look at yourself from the mirror of the word of God. Don't run away or neglect the picture of what you see yourself to be; acknowledge who you are by responding to Him in total repentance. It is in absolute submission to the truth that your deliverance lies. + Do you know the truth? Lord! Only in you lies my hope; let not the truth be hidden from my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: The best solution to every problem in life is knowing the truth! Have a Superb Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [28-09-2023] Focus: When Challenges Come The word for today When challenges come, it separates those who truly have a desire and passion from those who merely have wishes. It comes to bring the best out of our lives! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small" (Proverb 24:10 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sometimes, the best of a person does not come until he is in trouble. No man in this life succeeds in anything without overcoming challenges. You only have a breakthrough when you can pass through various hurdles to achieve your goals. Life's challenges are an essential part of our lives and are meant to make us a better person. The challenges in your life are not different from the ones common to all men, they only have different dimensions and fields. Every marriage that works, worked not because they didn't face challenges but because the people involved passionately and diligently made it work with the wisdom of God. This is also applicable to people in ministry, business, academics, and careers. Nothing works naturally, things are made to work by confronting the challenges against them. Life will not but always present various issues to prompt you to give up; always find strength in God to stand in all challenging situations of life. How strong are you and on what basis will you be victorious in various issues of life? Lord! Empower me to overcome every challenge that comes my way in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: When challenges come it comes to make you a better person! Have a Breathtaking Thursday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [27-09-2023] Focus: The Love of Money The word for today You will not serve God acceptably until you are free from the love of money. There is no limit to the evil you can commit when money becomes your master! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5 NIV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Money is a good servant but a bad master. It can help you to achieve great things and can also make you become a monster. It is a god which contends with the place of the almighty God in the lives of men. Money has taken many to a place they never wanted to be and has influenced men to do what they never wanted to do. It is capable of buying the conscience of a man. The best position you should place money in is the place of a servant and not a master. Never give too much power to money because even though it is an indispensable element of human life on earth the fact remains that, it can cost you your peace, integrity, purpose, mandate, message, relationships, fulfillment, hope for eternity with God, etc. Several good people in this life would have made an impact in the lives of men but eventually became a laughing stock because of money. Don't allow money to rule your heart. Is money your servant or your master? Lord! I will not be a slave to money in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: There is nothing you lay your hands upon that will favour or please God in the presence of the love of money! Have a Graceful Wednesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [25-09-2023] Focus: It won't be very long The word for today If the life we have spent so far on earth is more or less like yesterday; it won't be very long till this short life shall end to meet the Lord and King in eternal abode! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all." (Luke 17:26-27 NIV). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Every man is expected to live each of his days as if it is the last. The fact that God established us in various aspects of life doesn't change the fact that we have not come to stay on earth. If there be any word of God that came to pass before your very eyes then what He said concerning His coming will surely come to pass. Don't live any day of your life without consideration for eternity. Very soon, on earth, we will cease to roam. All burdens will be laid down, this earth shall pass away and all the works of men shall decay, all the saints will go home walking on the street of gold with smiling faces and abide forever with the Lord. Are you ready to meet with the Lord? Lord! Help me to live every day of my life having the sense of eternity in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: You are nearer to eternity than ever. It won't be very long for life in eternity to be a reality! Have a Delightful Week Ahead! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [24-09-2023] Focus: The place value of God The word for today The value of your existence both in life and eternity is a matter of the place value of God in your life. Your achievements in destiny will only be significant when God comes first in the affairs of your life! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The primary essence of our existence is to worship God and do His will. Hence, to make our existence count we must know God and discover our unique purpose. It is only when we know God and allow Him to take the rightful place in the affairs of our lives that we can have the life He wants to give us. God is the only constant factor from generation to generation, and He rules in all affairs of men. Involving Him and putting Him first in your affairs is everlasting wisdom. After King Solomon has explored and enjoyed the best things life can offer he concluded that "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." If God is represented as 1 and all other achievement is 0; assuming a man had 10 achievements. When God does not come first in his thinking and affairs his life at the end will look like this: 00000000001; everything he thinks he achieves becomes insignificant. However, when God comes first, every achievement becomes significant in this manner: 10000000000. The more you push God away from taking the first place in the scheme of things in your life the more invaluable you become. Whatever the case may be with your life, the fact remains that God will always be the last man standing (the first and the last). Your existence becomes valuable when you make God a priority in the affairs of your life. Honour God with your life and existence and your destiny will be preserved! What is the place value of God in your life? Lord! I receive the grace to put you first in every facet of life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: Where you place God in the affairs of your life will determine the value of your existence! Have an Inspired Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [18-09-2023] Focus: God: The Reason for Our Existence The word for today Our God is the only reason for our existence. If we fail to live for Him we are living for nothing and the confidence of having Him as an everlasting portion is a wonderful assurance that we have everything! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" (Lamentation 3:24 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If the LORD had not been on our side, what would have become of us when the anger of the enemies flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive. But by the virtue of His mercy, we have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped (Psalm 124). The best thing that ever happened to us, is the fact that God is standing by our side to bring His word to pass. He is the reason we live; the only One for us. We cannot fear because we have Him and we are surrounded by His love; His everlasting love. We need not to care what people say because they don't know what He means to us and His precious plans for us. Our yesterday wasn't without His grace, our today is full of the assurance of His wonderful Love and our tomorrow is secured in His hands. Our life is all about Him and for Him. Thank you for our yesterday, today, and days to come; all we are and what will be will be for your Glory alone. + Is God the ultimate reason for your existence? Lord! Thank you for bringing us this far; We will serve and live for you alone, as we increase we will not sin against you and our glory will not turn to shame in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: We are what we are just because of Him, Without Him in us we are nothing: He is the only reason for our existence! Have an Awesome Week Ahead! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [10-09-2023] Focus: The Grace of God at work The word for today The emergence of God's grace in the life of a man propels definite smart action. Behind anything working there is someone at work. There is no substitute for hard work in the school of success! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work." (2 Corinthian 9:8 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When the grace of God comes upon you it propels you to do something. The grace of God does not come when there is nothing to do. Hence, if there is something to do that appears difficult what you need is grace. Grace makes you see possibilities in impossibilities and capability in liability. Moses saw himself incapable of leading the Israelites and confronting Pharaoh, but when the grace of God came upon him, he confidently went directly to Pharaoh to declare the word of God: Let my people Go! Similarly, it was the grace of God in the life of David that made him see Goliath, who threatened the Israelites for 40 days, as an uncircumcised Philistine that could be defeated. This grace worked for them because they acted in faith and took responsibility. The Holy Spirit is an excellent spirit. He will counsel and teach you all things but will do nothing on your behalf. You can pray and still remain a failure if you fail to work hard. Prayers give the grace to work hard. It gives us the grace to work the work we must work to have the success we must have. You frustrate the grace of God, when it comes and you fail to use it to achieve something. What are you doing with the Grace of God in your life? Lord! Help me never to waste the grace made available for me in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: The Grace of God will be at work in your life if and only if you cooperate with God and make the best use of the grace made available to you! Have a Graceful Worship Experience! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [07-09-2023] Focus: Life is not meant to be Easy The word for today Life is not meant to be easy but is made easy by conscious effort under the grace of God. Nothing in life will work out until someone takes responsibility to work it out! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "All your life you will sweat to produce food, until your dying day." (Genesis 3:19a NLT) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The fall of man in the Garden of Eden subjected every man to intense labour in every bid to get something. One of those things you must do as you proceed in destiny is work. You must even work out your salvation. Nothing will work out for you if you fail to work. Whatever you left undone will deteriorate. God will never do anything for you but will give you the grace to do whatever you want to do. Even if he tells you to do something, grace is the only resource that will be given to you. The plan of God will never work for you until you work it out. The land on which you stand is fruitful, but you will only see and eat the fruit if you are willing to work it out. There will always be something to do about something for something good to come out of something. Goliath continues to threaten the Israelites until David takes the responsibility to confront him. You must take responsibility to work out the plan of God for your life, your aspirations, and the fulfillment of your dreams. Whatever you fail to do will fail. God does not give a man wealth but power to make wealth. It is left for every man to use the power to have the required wealth. Life will never be easy for a man if he fails to make it easy by conscious effort through the help of God. How easy do you think life is? Lord! Help me to put every grace received to work in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: Life will not give you what you need or want. However, you must through conscious effort get what you need or want from life! Have a Blessed Thursday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [05-09-2023] Focus: The Hands of the Lord The word for today When the hands of the Lord rest upon a man, he receives the unusual grace to run his race in the capacity of God. The involvement of God in the affairs of your life is the beginning of progress and excellence! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah, and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel." (1Kings 18:46 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The natural law cannot explain how Elijah on foot outran King Ahab on a chariot. No one can fathom how five loaves and two fishes can feed five thousand people. These are possible because the hands of the Lord are involved. There are chances life will not give you because of the limitations various situations of life subject you to. However, when the hands of the Lord come upon a man experiences an unusual transformation that makes him perform from ordinary to extraordinary and from natural to supernatural. Some heights are in God's plan for you which you can never get to unless grace is made available for you and the hand of the Lord carry you on the lift of divine grace. You must avail yourself to work and walk with God as you proceed in destiny. It is when you walk in the direction of God's will for your life that He will carry you on his wings. There is no limit you cannot surmount, and a height you cannot reach when the hands of the Lord rest upon you. You must always seek to see the hands of the Lord in the affairs of your life. + Is the hands of the Lord upon you? Lord! Let your hands continue to rest upon me as I proceed in destiny, grant me divine speed in every affair of my life in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: The hands of the Lord must rest upon you if you must experience unusual progress and success in the wilderness of life! Have a Progressive Tuesday! |
~~~Daily Spiritual Digest~~~ ________________________________ [03-09-2023] Focus: Preserve your saltiness The word for today The essence of salt lies in its saltiness, just as a person's value comes from their attractiveness to both God and men. When someone loses this appeal, they become useless, purposeless and subject to ridicule! ************************************ Scriptural Reference "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men."(Matthew 5:13 NKJV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The greatest asset of a man's life is the spirit of God in Him. When the Holy Spirit finds expression in the life of a man, his life becomes valuable and a blessing to his domain. Hence, if there is anything the devil wants to achieve in your life, it is to ensure that you lose your saltiness. There was a time people were rooting for King Saul but after God left him, he became valueless and useless. He couldn't face Goliath and God stopped speaking to Him. When Samson lost the presence of God he became an entertainment tool in the hands of his enemies. The beauty of a person's life is determined by the value God assigns to them. Therefore, honour God with your life, choices, and existence. Stay close to Him, striving to please Him every day of your life. Always remember the fact that Sin is a reproach that is capable of transforming a man to nothingness and subjecting him to ridicule. + What is your value before God and men? Lord! I receive the grace to preserve my values in Jesus' name. Amen! Emphasis: A person's relevance is upheld when they maintain their worth in both God's presence and among their fellow human beings!
