Also, in terms of those things the Lord made you pass through so far in life whether as a result of your obedience or disobedience to God's or life's principles; the Lord did not make mistakes; everything He allows in your life either as punishment (Psalm 118:18) or process of character development, is for your good. Every gift from the Lord to you is never a mistake but according to plan.

Sometimes as men, we will not but come to the point of asking questions about what we cannot change. Trust and believe in the Lord, keep faith alive, and seek His face over everything you cannot change in your life.

When David slept with Uriah's wife, things appeared good, but he faced the consequences. Gehazi could never believe that collecting Naaman's gift would bring leprosy into his lineage. Saul was thinking about making sacrifices to God at the expense of God's instructions for him; this single act cost him the kingdom. Achan was happy when he successfully took the cursed things, not knowing that he had succeeded in putting an end to his own life.

A man will only miss it each time he fails to walk in the light of God's word. It takes just a simple mistake to mar a man's life on the journey of destiny. Save your life, career, marriage, academics, and other aspects of your life by honouring God's word before you take any action!

As humans, we are prone to making choices that are contrary to God's will. These choices often come with consequences that may lead us away from the blessings that God intends for our lives. Every time we compromise our values and beliefs, we inadvertently undermine the plan and promises of God for our lives. By rejecting God's word, we set ourselves up for a painful price.

King Saul suffered the consequences of rejecting God's word. He was a king who had been anointed by God, but he failed to comply with God's instructions. As a result, he lost God's favor and was eventually rejected by Him. It's important to realize that every sin we commit is not only a sin against ourselves, but it's also a sin against our dreams, aspirations, and ultimately, God's plan for us. God has given us a plan and a purpose for our lives, and every time we choose to act contrary to His will, we delay the manifestation of His blessings in our lives.

However, when we cultivate the habit of obeying God, we position ourselves for a life of abundance and fulfillment. By walking in obedience, we align ourselves with God's plan for us, and we open ourselves up to the limitless possibilities that He has in store for us. In the end, nothing can be compared with what God can offer us. His way is wisdom, and what He gives us is always the best. As we trust in Him and follow His commands, we can rest assured that He will guide us toward a life of purpose and meaning.

Therefore, let us run our race with the grace of God, knowing that He is with us every step of the way.

The importance of the heart cannot be overstated. It is the source of all that we do and say, and it is the place where our true motives and desires are revealed. When the will of God is the foundation of our heart, by the virtue of God's word, we can do His will and walk in righteousness.

In Joshua 1:8, God instructs Joshua to meditate on His word day and night as a prerequisite for success as they advance toward the Promised Land. This same instruction applies to us today. We must get busy with issues concerning the will of God and allow His word to shape our hearts and minds.

As we meditate on God's word and allow it to take root in our hearts, we develop a deep and meaningful relationship with Him. The goal of hiding God's word in our hearts is not just to avoid sin, but to draw closer to Him and become more like Him in every aspect of our lives.

Is the word of God in your heart?

Our lives are intertwined, and we all play a part in the larger story of humanity.

Whether we realize it or not, our actions and choices have an impact on those around us. The people we interact with can inspire us, challenge us, and even change the course of our lives. Likewise, we have the power to do the same for others.

When we understand that our destinies are connected, we begin to see the importance of relationships in our lives. We realize that we are not meant to go through life alone and that we need the help and support of others to achieve our goals. It is important to remember that relationships are not always easy. We may not always agree with those we are connected to, but if we are to walk and work together, we must find common ground. Agreement of purpose, principles, and character is required for success and breakthrough in collaboration with a destiny helper.

There is an underlying principle of God that defines and makes a successful marriage. It is not a function of faith, belief, religion, knowledge of the word of God, or how much you can pray but conscious obedience to God's principle for a successful marriage.

There are some unbelievers around us who are enjoying their marriage blissfully not because of the knowledge they have about God but the fact that they either consciously or unconsciously follow the principle laid down by God. Even when your marriage appears to be wrong the fact remains that you are married already; you can correct every lapse by following God's principles.

Every marriage starts on a very good note, but challenges are set along the line. When this happens you must submit to do whatever God tells you.

His principle is revealed to us as follows:
1. God hates divorce be it physical or logical (Mal 2:16)
2. Husbands must love their wives the way Christ loves the church
3. Wives must submit to their husbands irrespective of who they are and their status (Eph 5:25).

Irrespective of your experience in marriage; you will be on the safe side when you do what the Lord tells you.

Do you submit yourself to God's Principle for a successful marital experience?

Lord! I receive the grace to make my marriage work in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

In this corrupt world, it can be tempting to compromise and perpetrate evil for selfish gain. However, we must remember that the wicked will eventually be destroyed. As the Psalmist said in Psalm 92:7, when the wicked sprout up like grass and all men do iniquity flourish, it is for their destruction.

Furthermore, King Solomon affirmed in his experience that there are righteous men who perish in their righteousness and there are wicked men who prolong their lives even in their wickedness (Ecclesiastes 7:15). This may seem unfair, but it is important to remember that righteousness is what exalts a nation, and every act of unrighteousness cannot give birth to righteousness.

Therefore, let us continue to do what is good and stand by it, even when it seems as if unrighteousness is more beneficial. For in due season, we shall reap our reward if we do not lose heart.

Many things you read about God and the ones you were told by people will be subject to doubt if you don't know Him by experience. The essence of most of the challenges you face is majorly to make you know God by experience.

You cannot confuse someone like Daniel, who stayed in the lion's den for hours without being hurt by the personality of God in His ability to save, or the 3 Hebrews, who came out of the burning, fiery furnace unhurt. Those Israelites who walked across the red sea lived to testify to the mighty act of God. It is not the case that they were told; it happened to them and was written on their behalf to the credit of God's personality. 

Even so, you have not known God until you know Him by experience. Knowing God through various life experiences teaches you beyond every iota of doubt the real personality of God. If you must advance further in life with great confidence to fulfill your glorious destiny, you must know Him. Don't run away from various dealings meant to reveal more of God's personality to you; always count your blessings and hold to your faith in Him.

There are several men who shy away from speaking what they know to be the truth for personal or corporate gain. When a man knows the truth and chooses to do otherwise or fails to provide adequate support for it out of selfishness, he is building a leprous mind.

The word of the Lord makes it clear in the passage above that misery results from affliction, suffering, and intense mournfulness. It awaits those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.

A type of mind that rejoices in the face of evil practices, deceit, cheating, corruption, unrighteousness, and all forms of malpractice at any level of life is a leprous mind. A nation can never be great until her people have a mind devoid of leprosy and channel their strength to promote righteousness at all levels of life. 

What type of mind is your mind?

Lord! Make me an agent and a promoter of righteousness in Jesus' name. Amen!

Because He knew that their unity was crucial to their success. Oneness is a powerful force that can move mountains and overcome even the strongest opposition. When people come together with a shared purpose and a united front, nothing can stop them. This is true in both physical and spiritual battles. The enemy of our souls, Satan, knows this all too well. He is always looking for ways to exploit the disunity and division of God's people.

We see this played out in the world today. Denominationalism, segregation in beliefs, misinterpretation of the word of God, and variations in the act of worship are just some of the tools that the enemy uses to divide and conquer.

Jesus desired that His disciples be one in every way imaginable. He wanted us to be of one mind and one heart, with a shared purpose and mission. He knew that our strength under God would be weakened if we are not united. We must strive for oneness in every area of our lives. We must work to eliminate the things that divide us and focus on the things that unite us. We must be united in word, purpose, principles, ministry, and character. Only then can we truly be effective in our mission to spread the gospel and make disciples.

There is power in oneness, and by putting aside differences and working together, we can make a greater impact and overcome the evil ones to advance God's kingdom.

A new experience is possible. It may be difficult to imagine or even comprehend at times, but the power of God is not limited by our own understanding or expectations. No matter how terrible an experience may be, it can change when God decides to change it. We must not limit the power of God by our own doubts and fears. The word "impossibility" only comes into play when men are the main key players, not God. With God, nothing shall be impossible.

The story of Prophet Elisha is a powerful testament to this truth. During an intense famine, he proclaimed abundance and it came to pass, despite seeming like an impossibility. We can learn from this story that we will be shortchanging ourselves if we think that what God has set out to do in our lives, homes, churches, cities, nations, and the world at large can never be possible.

God is God because His ways are different from that of men. He operates in ways that are beyond our human understanding, and we must trust in His sovereignty and power. A new experience is possible, but it requires faith, belief, and trust in the Lord.

It was this sacrificial attitude that made him the only one brave enough to face the towering Goliath.

Similarly, Joseph's righteousness was well known among his brothers, and the day he was sold to Egypt, his expertise in the area of welfare was brought to light for all to see. This was made clear in his life by the fact that he was able to resist temptation, forgive his brother, and provide for their essential need.

The way we live our lives today will inevitably shape the person we become in the future. Our actions, both good and bad, serve as a blueprint for our future selves. The little acts of wickedness, envy, compromise, slander, unrighteousness and unfaithfulness that we exhibit in our every day lives may seem insignificant, but they have the power to project who we will be and what our lives will represent. On the other hand, the love, care, righteousness, and faithfulness we exhibit are a revelation of the kind of person we will become.

Greatness is not always the result of careful planning or intense ambition, but rather a byproduct of the way we live our lives and the character we exhibit in various situations. Let us strive to live a life of selflessness, integrity, and righteousness, so that we may become the kind of people who can truly make a positive impact on the world

It is disheartening to acknowledge that there may be a conspiracy against the counsel of the Lord that seeks to inflict affliction upon us at every turn. The thought of such a malicious plot against our homes, families, churches, cities, nations, and the world at large is deeply concerning. Yet, it is essential to confront this reality head-on and take action to combat it.

The first step in combating this conspiracy is to implore God for His intervention. We must come before Him in prayer, seeking His guidance and protection in the face of adversity. Through prayer, we can tap into the divine power and wisdom that will enable us to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.

Furthermore, we must be relentless in our prayers, persistently calling upon God to put an end to the rise of affliction on every side. We must trust in His sovereignty and believe that He will answer us in His time. This trust and faith in God's plan can help us remain steadfast in the face of adversity, even when it seems like all hope is lost.

As we pray, we must also take practical steps to combat this conspiracy. We must be vigilant and aware of the tactics used by those who seek to afflict us. We must be proactive in protecting our homes, families, and communities from harm. This might involve taking steps to safeguard our physical and emotional well-being, strengthening our relationships with loved ones, and actively seeking out ways to make a positive impact on the world around us.

The major strategy of the devil over all of mankind is that he makes men preoccupied with various activities of life and takes away the power of prayer.

He is so successful in this to the extent that even when men find time to pray, most issues of life make them materialistic. Most people don't engage in prayers that will build their spirit or make them live a successful Christian life as they proceed on their pathway to destiny. Those who truly know God and have faith in Him pray ceaselessly.

The battle of life has not overcome you until you lose the power of prayer. When things are not working well in your life, family, city, or nation and it seems as if you are helpless; the only way out is prayer. If you want to experience the power of God in your pilgrimage and you don't want to become a victim of life's circumstances, atrocities, or evil enterprises of the devil, you must give yourself to praying ceaselessly.

Despite the fact that you need self-denial in terms of discipline and putting your body under subjection to fulfill your mandate in life, the fact remains that you must cooperate with every natural law that supports good health.

One of the most important ways your life can be useful to God is to stay healthy. Taking care of your body is an important aspect of your service to God. There are several men with promising futures whose dreams and aspirations for God and their individual lives were cut off due to the manner in which they handled their bodies.

Take a rest and sleep when you should, give yourself exercise, keep your environment clean, eat good food, and treat any ailment in your body. Learn how to retreat periodically from your daily routine activities. You can only enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living when you are healthy!

Everything the Lord will do for you is embedded in His promises, and whatever He does will last from generation to generation. When David aligned his life according to God's will, He made a covenant with him that also covered his children if they would walk in the covenant. What some people are enjoying today is a result of the fact that their fathers walked in covenant with God and the blessing was extended to them. They will also do well if they can pass on the legacy to their children by walking in the covenant and teaching their children to do the same.

When this is done, they are extending the blessing to their children. We must walk in covenant in a bid to preserve His glory in our lives. Joshua is a worthy successor to Moses because he walks in the covenant. You must also resolve to walk on the premise of God's covenant with you if you are to have the life God wants to give you. A man who lives in disobedience to God's word for him or walks in unrighteousness cannot fulfill His plan and purpose for his life.

Every word of God presented to you is the cord of discipline meant to reveal God's will to you and shape your life into His divine plan and purpose for you. The temptation you will not but always face is the one that will suggest that you detach yourself from the cord of the discipline of the Lord. It was this cord that prevented Joseph from sleeping with Potiphar's wife. It also prevented David from killing Saul, Daniel from eating the king's meat, and the three Hebrews from bowing to the golden image. 

Samson removed this cord and became a laughing stock, contrary to God's plan for his life. This same principle applies to the likes of Gehazi, Achan, Esau, Dinah, the daughter of Jacob, and King Saul. When a man binds the cord of discipline of the Lord to himself, he will surely do well even in secret, where no one will be around to question his deeds.

There is a beast in every man who always wants to be free. Each time it wants to manifest, the first target is to remove the cord of discipline. Every attempt to remove the cord of discipleship by misbehaving is an attempt to reject the life God wants to give you. Let the word of God abide in your heart, and submit yourself to obey it and honour God in all you do.

Your thought pattern also determines your response to people as a function of what you think of them. Every change of mind, attitude, and character begins with a strong conviction in the heart.

Therefore, if your thought pattern has so much influence on your entire life, it is very fundamental to the fulfillment of God's plan and purpose for your life. Submit yourself to God alone in every issue of your life, allow Him to influence your thoughts, and He will pattern your ways to success.
