Business / 4 Words That Every Aspiring Entrepreneur Must Know by JONITEZ(m): 6:54am On Jan 11, 2016 |
The world of entrepreneurship has grown so large that it now requires both young and old entrepreneurs to constantly educate themselves and keep themselves informed about the latest development in the entrepreneurship world. For aspiring entrepreneurs, one of the first things that you are always advise to do by your financial adviser is to get a business plan and also to familiarize yourself with the business and entrepreneurial words (Language of the entrepreneurs). So today, we will be taking a look at some entrepreneurial words that will help you throughout your journey in the entrepreneurial world. ASSET: According to investopedia, the word ‘asset’ means a resource with economic value that an individual, cooperation or country owns or control with the expectation that it will provide future benefit. One of the goals of entrepreneurs is always to acquire asset that will generate cash flow in the future. The knowledge of asset is very useful for entrepreneurs, especially those in real estate (that’s knowing whether a property is an asset or not ) LIABILITY: A liability can is a resource with low or no economic value which removes more income from the owner than it has generated (That’s the owner is not gaining from it). Aspiring entrepreneurs should beware of this because acquiring liability on your first start can lead your downfall living you with little or no chance of bouncing back. CAPITAL: Atleast 70% of individual around the world is familiar with this word. To a lay man, capital means the money used to start up a business in order to generate cashflow. Well this is true but to an entrepreneur, its not just the “money” used to generate cashflow, its also means a “goods” used to generate cashflow. Knowing the sufficient amount of capital that can be used to kick off your business will also give you more insight about the business you are trying to start up. BALANCE SHEET: It is a financial statement that shows a total description of a company’s asset, liability and shareholders’ equity at a particular range of time (it could be months or years). Been a great entrepreneur requires you knowing how to read your balance sheet in order to know whether the legs of the pyramidal shape of your business is strong. It also gives the investors who wants to invest in your business the insight of how the financial activities of your company has been going. http://www.cresthub.com/2015/12/4-words-that-every-aspiring.html |

Business / Effective Bussiness Tips For Beginners by JONITEZ(m): 12:21am On Dec 29, 2015 |
Dreaming to have a big multimillion business is quite easy but putting your dreams into practical action can be difficult, especially when you do not have a proper guidance and business strategy. Away from the complex business strategy and guidance used in business at its advance level, we will be taking a look at some useful tips for beginners who want to get to the peak of their entrepreneurial desire. - LOOK FOR A NEED AND MEET IT: This is the first and foremost of all business tips. Beginners always overlook this particular tip because they feel it’s less important, this is because they engage in a particular business that they saw someone or a friend succeed not minding the Geographical area at which the person’s business succeeded. Take a look at the richest people in the worlds, the likes of Bill gate met peoples’ need with the production of different Microsoft software which we use in every offices today, not to even talk about the our own Dangote and Adenuga who currently meet the needs of people in Nigeria and other countries by supplying Food stuffs, cement and network service and at the same time make a lot of income out of it. - START SOMEWHERE IN PARTICULAR: After you must have gotten a need to meet, then you should decide your starting point. Well I don’t really have to decide for you but the little word I have for you is that you should start from smallest and easier things to do before you advance to a higher stage. - CONCENTRATE YOUR FORCE: Concentration of your force involves making sure that the shape of your business is in a pyramidal form (mind you, pyramid is one of the most stable shapes in the worlds). Concentrating your force around a particular business will help you make a name in the business and at the same time make you create chains of network around your business. Having a different business is good, but before you embark on your journey of venturing into another business make sure that your main business is highly stable and its forces are concentrated. Don’t be a jag of all trade masters of none. - INDEPENDENCE ON GEOGRAPHIC REGION: One of the secret to most successful business is its independence on a geographic region. No matter the time, weather condition or the season of the year, a successful business will always be on the go. Taking Mark Zuckerbeg as a case study, you can see that his super awesome social network (facebook) is always running through the whole year irrespective of the weather condition. - ACCESSIBILITY BY ALL: This is the last tip on our list that you shouldn’t ignore, making one’s business accessible to all help create a warm relationship between customers and business owners. Last shot: for people still waiting for the right time to make a step, you better start now or never. Source: http://www.cresthub.com

Business / Student Entrepreneur Attributes You Should Develop by JONITEZ(m): 8:50pm On Nov 25, 2015 |
Student entrepreneurs often close down their "businesses" after a few months; sometimes, a few weeks. Those who have been in those shoes tend to offer the wrong advice to upcoming entrepreneurs but trust me, despite the trend, a few students are still making it. The question now is, what do they do differently? 1. CONSISTENCY: Yes! Most of us know this one important attribute but not many have it. You should have carefully allocated time for your studies as well as your work before starting so as not to make one suffer because of the other. When your absenteeism or nonavailability of your so-called goods become a regular thing, you'll NEVER have regular costumers. 2. GOOD SPEAKING MANNERS: Right now, this is not for students alone. Every person that must carry out transactions must be nice and homely. Have you ever been in a bank and the Customer Care Rep doesn't reply your greetings? Yea! That feeling is mutual. 3. HIGH INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT: It may really sound weird but, yes! You have to have a high IQ. That does not go to say that if you're not very academically bright, then you cannot run a successful business. As a student entrepreneur, you may be faced with problems/difficulties that require immediate attention; your ability to make a quick comparison in your mind about the possible ways out & then picking the best option, goes a long way in determining how far your business will go. So, how do you improve & increase your IQ? Don't be too busy that you can't relax. Play games(I don't mean nasty games you play with people). Research has shown that games like Chess, Scrabble, Ludo (and even some of our phone games like Sudoku) boost one's thinking and ability to take the right decisions. Also read books, try to answer puzzles and riddles, don't be too fast to browse or check meanings in the dictionary; try to figure the answers out yourself first. 4. GO THE EXTRA MILE: This may require a lot of sacrifices but if you want your growth to be a geometric progression(I hope you still know your AP and GP), it is NECESSARY. Going the extra mile may include giving gift items as bonus, giving free service to the first whatever- number in a day or any other thing your brilliant mind can come up with. 5. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE: Your eagerness to work, optimism, hard work and faith in God are the most essential things. Don't miss anyone of them. If you have more, we'll like to see them. Education / 5 Mind Stimuli That Can Make Or Mar You by JONITEZ(m): 4:21am On Nov 16, 2015 |
The human mind respond to stimuli through which it may be keyed up to high rates of vibration enthusiasm and creative imagination which normally serve as a drive towards achieving greatness and success in every sphere of our life, especially in the business world. Today, we will be taking a look at some of these mind stimuli. DESIRE: A burning desire for fame, power, financial gain or money has always been the main focal point of certain individual’s drive towards achieving greatness. LOVE: We have seen a lot of famous men who attribute their success to their wife or girlfriend which they love so much. Statistics has shown that at times been with the right partner can serve as a positive drive towards achieving one’s goal. FEAR: This can as serve as both positive and negative drive of a goal. Its positive part can be seen when one has fear for negative things that can deter ones goal. AUTOSUGGESTION: I first came in contact with this word when I real Napoleon Hill’s “think and rich”. According to wikihow dot com, Autosuggestion can be defined as the use of positive word and sentences repeatedly in order to change one’s perception. The use of autosuggestion can create a positive perception about what an individual want his or her career or business to be like and then work towards it. Mind you, this is done by the use of Subconscious part of our brain. NARCOTICS AND ALCOHOL: The use of this method can make or mare you depending on the level of intake. Several people around the world believe that they must be so high in Alcohol or Narcotics before they can get in touch with the subconscious mind that will make them be at the peak of their creativity. Though it does work for them but its consequences can never be evaded unless one gains proper drug treatment and rehabilitation. The above listed stimuli can help us in different areas of our life, but above all we are advised to take advantage of Love and Desire as they will influence us in a more positive manner, provided we are walking in the right path.
