Dear KiberaWalker the majority of Kenya's development is currently focused on appeasing foreigners, Local Indians, and a few wealthy native Kenyans. While Nigeria's is at least focused on supporting the the lower-middle income and above residents who are almost entirely natives.

The M2 to GDP ratio would completely alter the list! I'm afraid a 400 billion dollar GDP giant would grossly underperform! I got to say some

countries may seem too much liquid to others! The liquidity being shown by these top economies is almost toxic, that's a lot of M2 out there!

You're doing great.Banks have a cash reserve ratio set by Central Banks.In Kenya it's about 20% of all bank deposit must be held as liquid cash...so those are cash not in circulation.Banks have to remain liquid in case you change you mind and want to withdraw your savings.That is money held in bank vaults.The rest they can loan it out..aka circulate it.

I think you're doing this wrong.Kenya m2 is around 28B dollars and M3 around 33B..m3 include deposit.Nigeria m2 83B and M3 93B dollars.As you can see their economy should be roughly 2 and half Kenya..around 200B...not what they claim.The same is true with bank assests...40B against 100B.Never mind the giant is 4 times more popolous and is swimming in oil.

Can't tell much about a country that can only pull 4.4 billion dollars as the total value of cash in circulation(March, 2018). Kenya with almost a quatre of their population had about 2.6 billion dollars as the total value of cash in circulation(June, 2018). There is less cash in Nigeria if you factor in the population of these countries or simply the Naira is just so worthless!
