For ageing footballers, it's rare to redeem yourself really, Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol all knew when they had to go, Busquets has been finished for a long time, infant it's because of Busquets we started signing 'workhouses' as midfielders, Players like Vidal,Rakitic were signed as a compliment for Busquets, coaches started thinking of formations to compliment Busquets in big CL games hence why Valverde preferred 4-4-2 in big CL games and Sieten foolishly followed suit. Teams just targeted Busi and that was it. When last did Busquets stay in the opponent's half to give those straight, directing, technical passes to Messi?, Maybe 5 years ago.

He should go or at best come on as a substitute. I loved him as a player, He was a break from the norm that Defensive Midfielders shouldn't just be physical or mobile, he was none of those and in his prime he was way better than those who possessed these qualities, I mean Yaya Toure was forced out because of him and we didnt feel Yaya's absence at all despite Yaya being Quality.
I defended Busquets steady but now isn't about Love, Nothing personal, Just business.He is finished and soon those that are yet to see it would see. If he plays once in 4 games or 5 games, He might be able to keep his longevity and freshness but for him being a regular starter?

Full backs don't necessarily have to be tall jare. So long he has sense, athletic and can contribute significantly to both attack and defence. I am good.
Alphonso davies isn't tall but really really good and he's just 19.
