Note that year of production is different from year of release.

Last season was 2019 but sure as hell wasn't that year it was shot. HOTD started shooting 2021 so even two year time gap is massive.

Also 170 plus year gap in storyline and era makes it very different. Kings Landing and The Red Keep you see in disrepair will be different in a century interval.

I don't expect the city looking Kings Landing we've been seeing in both shows to be the same we'd see in upcoming AEGON'S CONQUEST.
