I really don't know the consumption of Camry sha but you can fill up and check

With this fuel surge, I will need 38k to full the tank of the Camry, my question is, can you pls help with an approximate estimate of how many KM I will have to cover before the full tank finishes? I use only Bolt app, do you think I can make the 38k of fuel, 25k remittance then some profit for myself before the fuel get exhausted?

Pls I'd humbly anticipate your response and that of other experienced drivers on this forum.

After reading the back and forth of this thread, I decided to test the waters too. Bought fuel 20k (27k might fill up because I had some fuel). I started 7am and ended 7pm but drove empty from island to mainland because I was tired (I didn't eat anything all through) and didn't feel like having company

Gross;
Indrive.....4500. (net 4050)
Uber......5800. (Net 4600)
Bolt.....43400 (net 33066)

Total net is 41650. Fuel guage was between ¾ and half. I have top up again with 16k bring net to 25600.

The fuel issue is draining but e no bad like how we dey see am...the economy touch everybody no mean say we go wait for tinubu to come feed us. Who no go no go know.

If not that u want to eat like an armed robber, flex like a kidnapper or measure up with a Yahoo boy. U will not call a business that u can make between 10k to 30k profit daily an unprofitable business.

As a partner, who will not raise any finger apart from the capital u used in buying the car, u make 100k profit monthly on the average from ur investment. That's like 3-10% monthly passive income depending on how much u invested in buying the car. And u are complaining. Tell me, how many genuine passive incomes can u make that much from in Nigeria of today.

As a Driver, u can make between 100k and 150k profit every week. If u r starting new and u r lucky to get a car with 50k down payment, even if u borrow to raise d deposit, u can repay ur loan, pay ur partner and still have change in the first week of working. Isn't that commendable? U can live comfortably and be financially confident out of nothing or just 50k/100k deposit/capital.

Finally, as a Partner Driver; if u make from within 100k to 150k every week in profits. Calculate that in a month and tell me if that's not good business.

If u want to talk about repairs and expenses, I will tell u there is nothing in a car that money cannot buy, and there is no expenses too much compared to the profits u will make once u fix it, so as a business man, even if it means u borrow and fix ur car, go ahead, it's not bad. Save for raining day and have depreciation savings. But most of us will eat with out five fingers, leave above our means and be complaining that money on dashboard isn't showing in bank account.

You will be talking down on the business, u r poor, u don't have money, u can't maintain ur car yet u want mega profits, u want to make money doing nothing. U don't even know the basics or what it takes to run a business/company, cos if u did, it will show in d way u talk and analyse things, but u want to look for business you will do... I pity u, at least in ehailing if u no do again u can sell ur car and see small road, most of u talking will enter business and get wrecked and come out with nothing. The best thing for u is to seat on a desk 8-5 and recieve salary at month end.

There is no profitable business without it's own challenges, risks, pit falls, and skills u must master to succeed in it. U must learn d ropes, endure, be patient, be consistent, be positive and with a sprinkle of natural/spiritual principles you will succeed.

I am not saying u must do ehailing, or u shouldn't do other businesses or that ehailing is the best thing to involve in, my own is when u are talking, personalize ur talk and don't generalize. This man requested me from Mowe to Lekki. He was making so many calls on our way and his phone was on speaker when he made the calls. When we got to Law school, he said I should turn back to Arepo to inspect a property he was speaking with someone about as we were coming. So I turned and he said we should do that offline. On getting to Arepo, he inspected many properties and hired a Lawyer around to do the necessary documents cos he said he wanted to zeal everything before leaving that his sister (owner of the properties as he claimed) is coming from UK in a couple of days. He collected a account numbers of party involved and including my own and forwarded it to a number he saved on his phone as Account officer and put a call through that he should credit the accounts before 9am on Wednesday. This was Tuesday evening cos it was late before everything was shorted out. I managed to take his pix when my spirit was seriously disturbed and sent it to my relatives. On Tuesday evening, I put a call tru a police family friend in Dolphine Estate informing him I would be coming to his office with a suspect. My plan was park at the station along orsbond once the scammer failed to pay for the properties and my services b4 9am on Wednesday morning cos I know he may give some excuses. On Tuesday evening, he requested one of the agents to organize a babe for him and that one did. That night I locked all doors when he went inside with the babe and kept the keys in my room.

Reasons
1. I thought he may do something bad for the babe and ran away before morning
2. I thought he may be wounded by the babe and the babe may run away before morning
So I wanted to know we are all safe before anybody open the door in the morning.
In the morning, he knock on my door to come and open door and I saw him wearing only boxers and his polo. I asked if the lady was ready to go and he said NO that they just wanted to do Road walk. After like 3mins I checked roud the Estate and could sight them so I ran inside, picked my key and drove towards the exit gate. Unfortunately it was only the lady I saw coming back. When I asked her she said the guy said he quickly want to see a business partner waiting for him in kára. I shouted, the man has escaped. The lady was telling me to calm down that it's not possible. I just told her to quickly go and pick anything he has in the room cos I suspected he never pay. I was asking the lady in charge of the apartment if she had seen alert previous day but maybe she thought it's non of my business that's why she didn't answer me. By the time I tried to call him, he already blocked my number. This is how I was welcome back to business after a short break.

When this happens, people will get poorer because salary will not increase and every commodity will multiply. Companies will choose to downsize so will all should be ready but I don't think removing subsidy will make fuel get as high as 800.

Guys av just been thinking lately......if Peter obi or bat man becomes president,they both said they will remove subsidy and if that happens fuel may cost as much as 800 per liter just like diesel(diesel subsidy was removed a long time ago).....and if that happens festac to lekki phase 1 that used to be 5k,6k,7k will now be 15k-20k(will people be able to afford that much?).
I hope this doesn't affect the demands for rides.

Normally prices of commodities will increase to reflect the new fuel price. Transportation will increase.

If subsidy is removed it will affect every sector of the country. Transportation will get the highest hit.

Compressor is not bad but the coil is burnt, I had same issue on Saturday. Relax your mind just take it to a good AC technician, they will bring out the compressor and fix it. You would have noticed the compressor bearings wobbling before.
