Good evening everyone, so I have been able to fill the DS-160 form online paid the visa fee and have tried to schedule an interview appointment but I got to this stage and got confused, I have not received any email from the embassy in Lagos, please house I need your advice on this
The website keeps asking me I have received an email from the US consulate in Lagos requesting that I should schedule an appointment for interview, truth is I have not received any mail from the consulate and I'm confused as to whether I should click yes and continue, I have clicked No and it says I can't proceed to schedule the interview, that I should wait till I get the email from the consulate. Please house I need help on this

On the 14th of February my fiance received a mail that our petition has been forwarded to the USA embassy in Lagos, please at the point what's the next step for me to take, should I wait till I get a letter from the embassy in Lagos or should I go ahead and pay for the visa fee and and fill the DS form online

yes, that’s what the septrin was for, one daily and it was like nothing because it was so tiny, learnt TB starts from cough so they gave that to prevent it while checking my CD4 to ensure it never goes below 400 so as to start me with an antiretroviral. I was never given Antiretroviral that until I moved to Abj where they said I have to start regardless of my CD4. Their motive at ABj is to get everyone to an undetectable status which was great.

Have you ever asked yourself this question - what will i do when I get to the US? Let's use this period to learn a new skill or take an online course(from any accredited American college or university). Then take the certification exam when you get to the US. Let us use this period wisely!!!

yes I knew that already and was beginning to wonder where it was stated that it must be more than once, anyways I believe that meeting twice or more is stronger proof but meeting just once OK so long the genuineness is there to be seen

First off there are not packages that you decide and subscribe to.. They are visas that grant you access to a country and for you to gain such access you need to fit into the category of the visa you are applying for. Spouse visas are different from k1 visas.. No one is short it only depends on your case. Some people own took 1year some are 6 months and so on. So first off decide with your fiancee.which one are you guys doing?..then you begin from there. Also I think 6months is a short time after a divorce to meet and get engaged to someone else but if that's your case I suggest to meet the requirement of meeting 2 times before your petition. That's my opinion tho not a standard.

someone on this thread made had this same issue he got divorced (I think from a customary court) and he didn't change it to show that it was gotten from a high court and he was denied visa even when he showed them the judgement from the customary court. Maybe you should go through the beginning of this thread.

Now, ive met a new love from US after i and my nigerian wife has gone our separate ways 6months ago
So, my question is, if i apply for K1 visa with a divorce certificate of my Nigerian ex, will i be denied?
