Roland17: Brodie is not the entire problem, that roster is bad and poorly constructed and you are right, LeBum played a big role in the construction of that roster but guess what? He may abandon ship and blame everyone else but himself.
A roster that has Melo (37), Trevor Ariza (36), Dwight Howard (36) D'Andre Jordan (33), Kent Bazemore (32), Avert Bradley (32) all on veterans minimum I guess but are supposed to be supporting casts for player who turn LeBum (38), Russ (34), Anthony Davies (29) by the the end of this season! It can't work! No one is interested in playing defense or pushing themselves. Most of them are on their last legs.
Yet someone is saying they have 2 more years to go, in the same dreaded Western conference that has the likes of the Suns/ Warriors/ Memphis/ Mavericks/ Jazz/ Nuggets. As in, Bron would always be Bron. Now him dey try out the blame on Pelinka who Clearly wanted buddy heild etc. Bron na chief assembler, once the assembling cast him go jump ship. Now na that young Cleveland team him Wan go scatter. Imagine all this nonsense & he expects people to recognize him as the Goat? imagine letting Caruso go just because you Wan assemble team. No be curse, dem no go make the play-in, talk more of the play-offs |

Tellwhat: This guys have massive potentials especially when sexton returns
That Allen and Garland na real quality Mobley, okoro, even osman has been Good for them, they still have Lauri markannen. Na wetin LeBron Wan go scatter be that. Believe you me those guys would become Robots and less show less expressions when LeBron is there. All of them productivity go reduce drastically. |

A40: It's evident that you're still using Washington eye to look at John Wall.
John Wall last season shot 40% from the floor on 18 shots. Averaged 7 assists and 3.5 turnovers. A 31% 3pt shooter. That is to say him and Westbrook, omo iya kan ni won. You just dey wind yourself if you think Wall is a significant upgrade on Westbrook and that's not even factoring his availability issues
Essentially you would have a scenario where Wall, AD are out and LeNomad would have had to carry the load himself Exactly, in chucks words, availability is the biggest assest any team can have. Imagine having glass house AD and john wall who has a worse injury record to AD not to mentions playing with lBJ which automatically reduces your productivity in all stats. |

birdman: You likely remember the often injured Wall playing for the Wizards. Me that Im following Rockets, I know when rehab finished, what the guy was dropping when he played and why he is not currently playing. Wall was shut down on purpose by Rockets this year. As in, dont even come to practice. Dude was averaging 20pt/8assists for Rockets previously. Unfortunately that was the period Harden was throwing tantrum, refusing to be a part of the team. Once Harden left, and we got the top picks, Houston understandably want to give the future play time.
So you can see why Lebron would be pissed. Even if the Lakers dont need his 15-20 points, 10+ assists will put the Lakers way above .500. To make it worse, Pelinka was lying everywhere saying he got buy-in from Lebron and AD. Both essentially called it a lie through their camps.
I think many fans haven't seen Wall play in a long time. The guy is 2 levels of upgrade on WB. Shooting PCT from 3, assists and ball control. All much better than WB. Pelinka messed up! Is this a MF joke, wall an upgrade to Brodie? bro abeg . |

DeeMain: I saw the foul and I wondered aloud how some people would say with a straight face the foul was unintentional.
I saw his dirty play compilation afterwards and it cemented my earlier conviction.
He was even smiling to the fans when he was ejected. What a mentally warped sicko! I love Milwaukee but it's obvious G. Allen has some kinda mental disorder, dude was still smiling and Hi-fiving after almost committing murder. He's had along history of such dirty plays Right from Duke... It's bunkers mehn honestly. |

Roland17: My Celtics are disgraceful at this point. How on earth do you lose to a bunch of G-Leaguers and 10-Day contract players. Blow up the organization. The culture in the organization is very poor, an absolute lack of accountability. All Ime does is blame everyone else but himself. This has been a horrible season and I expect losses against the Clippers and Suns. Still said this yesterday, make dem disband that team and rebuild. |

birdman: People underrate his discipline and focus. If Lebron wasn't still in the league, he would be face of the league. As #2 in the 2007 draft class, #1 Oden never worked out, and Conley, Horford in that class are now journeymen. The next year's class brought Westbrook, Rose, K Love all who are no longer near their peak post injury. Two of his teammates Harden and Griffin are from 2009 draft class, and Durant is still by far the best, healthiest and most productive layer on the team (even if you add in Kyrie, draft class 2011). And he is coming off an inury that took him out of the league for a year. The guy is a joy to watch, even when Im rooting against him. No CAP |

Because y'all would never want to put him above your sweethearts KD and Steph. Deal with it bro, Giannis is the best player in the league. steady986: Giannis is not on the same level with anybody. I've said that plenty of times. I proclaimed him the best player in the league already, even better than LeBron and KD. What I'm saying is when healthy, AD is the best big man in the league. And don't tell me Giannis is a big man just because he's big. Giannis is a forward. The most times Giannis has ever played forward is this season in like 3 or 4 games because of injuries. Lopez, Portis and Thanasis will play center before Giannis does. Hope you get now. AD on the other hand plays at least half his minutes at center every single game. If you want to bring up names like Jokic or Embiid then you have an argument. But don't mention Giannis. EL O EL |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by joshboo(m): 12:29pm On Nov 19, 2021 |
steady986: Has Giannis ever outperformed AD the way he did today? Just one game he had injury and we no go hear word. You're now talking as if he gets outperformed by any top big man he plays.
The way you like dey nitpick sef. Did Giannis continue in the the game he got that injury? Didn't he have 2-3 day to heal? When AD got his injury in this game, did he quit? I'm sure you didn't watch the game. He played on. But he couldn't be aggressive because of it, that's why Vogel had to put THT on Giannis. AD didn't have a bad game. He shot 60% from the field and even had a better +/- than Giannis himself.
And which "stomach ache" kept AD at home? AD played with that stomach infection, even vomiting at halftime but still played on.
And P.S, Giannis is not a big man. All this your beer parlor instigated narrative, oga Giannis is better that AD, use any metric you wanna use doesn't change a thing. |

donlittle25: Which kind of analogy is this? Its not the same thing abeg.
And to be quite honest, i endorse violence as i believe no one has monopoly to violence(Someone tell buhari and his kinsmen causing mayhem down south). Everyone is mad, and na where you madness stop another person start.
If a kid is getting bullied, comes to school one day with a gun and open fire on the kid bullying him, i will not lose an ounce of sleep. Same way the nigga that got approved to build 8 buildings and started building 21 and he died inside that building. I feel absolutely bad for everyone else, but him? Justice served because he would have gotten away with it if that building did not crash with him inside.
Same thing with morris, from luka to other bball players, He always throw cheap shots, well he bullied the wrong kid, and honestly, if he had died on tv that night from one thing or ther other(I will not lose sleep last night). Jokic wen't after who wen't after him. Heck, I respect him for that.
Also, Americans always think they are tough. It makes me laugh. Jokic grew up in the midst of the Yugoslav Wars. I doubt if he gives two fuccks about gangster haslem. Niggas watched death in the face everyday, tanks and all that and you think your crisps and blood nonsense will move him.
make una sorry for the rant jare. |
