funmisticqueen2:Exactly!!!! I love this line!!! Can we just marry at once!! |
It's funny how humans, who don't have an idea of what's happening out there, come on social media to blast doctors!! Do you know how many doctors have lost their lisve in this Covid-19 era, just because the family members deliberately lie about the travel history of the patient? Why exactly are patients, who know they have Covid19, and their relatives lying? What do they intend to achieve? And yet, the public would not raise an outcry over it. Everything happening is just a "cause and effect" situation and those who suffer are the patients that come after. I've seen cases and I've seen cases!! I've had terrible experiences with patients and their relatives. It got to the point that my consultant had to prepare a legal document for all patients coming into the A&E to sign concerning their travel history, and if it's found that it was a lie, they are liable to forfeit their properties and go to jail!!! It's really that bad!! A wise man once said, "never criticize a man till you walk in his shoes". Y'all think I would not have loved to stay at home during this lockdown? Yet I'm here trying to save lives of those trying to kill me!!! It's ridiculous!! That being said, if the way the current crop of doctors act is inhumane and deadly, and all they came for is the money, pick the form, go to medical school and come out to be the Doctor you've always wanted to see. We go copy you!!! |
snowblaq:As in ehnnnnn..... Na only useless mouth dem get!!! Talk is indeed cheap, my dear. |

Correcto:Hunku, why stay here and complain? Oya go New York na!!! Or pick UTME forms and go study medicine.... If you can't do any of the two, then SHUT UP, STAY HOME AND STAY SAFE!!!! |
..... so I opened this thread and I'm like "as usual, another doctor-bashing thread"!! All I see is trashy comments by ungrateful Nigerians who don't know how health care workers are putting their lives on the line out there to help the populace!! As a doctor working in the pulmonology unit, I know how many times I've had to see and manage pulmonology cases without facemask, putting myself in great danger, just because there's no mask available in the hospital and the closest pharmacy is miles away. There's a lot to say...but again I remember that Nigerians would remain Nigerians: "patient dies, doctor is incompetent; doctor dies, doctor was careless!!" I no get talk with Una.... If you feel say e easy, just come and keep me company at the hospital's emergency. Dear OP, sorry for your loss....but if I was in the shoes of those doctors, sadly, I'd do the same. I also have a family. The symptoms were too close for comfort, and mind you the cardiologist who referred her must have had a suspicion and just transferred her from his facility to save his life!!! P/s: And oh! Before anyone comes trashing the "...you swore an oath to save lives bla bla bla" Yes!! I swore an oath to save lives, mine inclusive!!!! |
talk2oxii:Lo and Behold Praise and Worship Tithe and Offering Goodness and Mercy ![]() |
Dotun1993:Is this Dr. Dotun, Former NEIC ![]() |
blacktwist:please Don't blame the Students. From the pictures, its clear that it's not the students. This is what happens whenever it rains. Buckets on bed are because the roofs are leaking terribly and that's the only way to have a little night sleep when it rains. I think the management should come to their rescue. |
it's true. lots of burnt people are being brought to teaching hospital right now. there is confirmed mass casualty right now. |
