“All my old boots, balls and kits being shipped off to the motherland (Lagos Nigeria) this morning to the less fortunate #giveback #2nddrop #nigeria”

I so liked Ola Aina as soon as I saw this picture. This was his 2nd Batch of kits to Lagos. I hope he makes it big in his club and International
career.
You can see the passion

We only want those who want us
Those who love gwg

Bros ye! I salute your doggedness in tutoring them on the basic acceptable quantifiable measurement of selection of players.

These people are bent on murdering equity and fair play for our korokoro eyes when it is obvious there is selective selection of players in the National team.

Some even said they will go on exil if they see a player that is playing in a better league than Chidiebere Nwakali called into the National team but he is at peace with mediocre. Smh

They blame Buhari for selecting people from his zone to man key positions because they believe those he selected are not better than the ones on ground but here they embracing and smooching the corrupt selection of players from a lowly league.

If they really want selection based on merit by Buhari why are theynot replicating the same thing here?

Maybe they think a lowly league player is better than those in a better league because.....

I am not saying we should use quoter system in selection of players into the national team but I am maintaining that selection should and must be based on merit even if the whole player is from on region. In this case, I am not convinced that merit was used as the measurement of picking players. This is broad day murder of equity and fair play in cold murder.
I never see your type before

you are comparing buhari to rohr

is buhari performing?

Abeg oga I didn't make anything up. If it's my opinion I'd say so but what I have stated thus far is informed by an article I read.
He did not wish England came for him yet he would have 'loved' to play for England'. So now stop making things up. Here are excerpts from the article that informed my assertion which you have ignorantly tagged as me making things up:
'Yet Iwobi said himself in January that he would have “loved” to play for England and it would be intriguing to know why the FA did not try harder to make it happen before Friday’s cutoff point"
"Iwobi has apparently talked of feeling unwanted by England, though, in fairness to the FA, it did presumably play a part that the player’s uncle is Jay-Jay Okocha, football royalty in Nigeria."
Here's the link to the full article and pay attention to what Wenger said: https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/mar/26/arsenal-alex-iwobi-england-nigeria
iwobi never wanted to play for England

No, but Pinnick handled the whole thing like an amateur. You don't start having photo ops and bragging on the world wide web that a player, who incidentally is plying his trade in England, is going to dump England to rep Nigeria until you seal the deal. That was the dumbest move I have ever seen from a public official.

He ought to resign and should resign if Nigeria is a country where things are done the right way.

I knew it was only a matter of time anyway. Like I predicted immediately after the whole Pinnick holler, England would cap Tammy as soon as their world cup qualification is guaranteed just to keep him from Nigeria. And that's exactly what has happened.

Anyway, good luck to him. Let's see how long his England career lasts.
