They will not allow you to board just get your day 2 and 8 test kit paid for from here and if you have kids below 11 years you will day 2 test booking for them

For Children under 11 years, only * day 2* needed?

They won't take your old passport from you.
No need anyway, because a) the UK student visa is points-based so travel history is not a factor (except where it is adverse of course), and b) you will fill out your travel history in the form, so there's no need for the physical passport and visas.

I filled out travel history on the form I filled online...or did I do something wrong?

I picked Student for category of Visa.

If you are doing assisted service i.e TLS uploading your docs on the day of your biometrics, you will have to go with it. If it is self service i.e uploading yourself, you don't need to go with your POF.

However, on the confirmation email I got, it was stated that test is in Lagos office.

My question : Where should I go that day? IOM Ikeja office or Redington?

You have to go to Redington, as you were asked to, then come back to lagos office to see the Doctor and collect your scan result

Once your pof is 28 days, you will submit your application, pay Visa fees and NHIS. Let us assume you submitted your application today which day 28th (July 16) and you got July 30 as date of appointment. You can print your pof on July 29 which would be more than 28 days.

Please I am a bit confused, do we still need to take our POF statement, when going for biometrics? I thought we submit it during application online only.
