Mama Pls always follow your doctor advice, if he says you should stop the progesterone, please stop. There is a stage where.. When they placenta has taken over its duties, progesterone is no longer needed. It becomes harmful. Mee too, I was placed on progesterone in my early pregnancy and stopped when I reached 13 weeks.

Today is my appointment with my Dr. I will ask him questions about it and follow his advice. Thanks so much ma.

Please mama don't stop the progesterone. Around the time you are supposed to take the next dose just buy the tab (duphaston) and take till around 32 to 34 weeks. Your doctor don't need to prescribe for you. You can take 1 daily it's not bad, on a stressful day you can take one morning and evening. Cos of the cost o. That was what I did. Regards

Cost ke? How much is it compared to what I've passed through, less than 3k. I will do as you've said. Thanks for your advice.

lol joy,saw ur comment,but thought someone with better experience will answer, not in the health department,and is my ist child,but nevertheless,am happy u can swallow the food, in my early months,vomited everything,am ok now,so am sure u have nothing to worry about,this stage will pass, we just experience different things,am in my 16 weeks

Movements are felt earlier in subsequent pregnancies cos you already know what to expect and how it feels. With my first I didn't know till almost 21 weeks

I felt like something like being walked across in my stomach when I was about to sleep 3 days ago. If that is movement I love it. I'm a FTM anyway, I can't wait to start feeling the kick

Omankem please go back to where you did the first scan. That sonographer isn't even professional. He didn't see any sign of a baby that has been seen before? No now. Even my last scan where babys movt wasn't pronounced the guy spent time to search well, changed probe, told me to relax etc. Turned out baby was probably sleeping cos she eventually started moving actively

Wow! You mean you have actually started feeling the movement? I can't wait o, I only see the movement in scan.
NB. I'm not cappo o, we never chose one. I'm just trying to make sure we are active

Thanks teamie for checking on us. Yes have registered and taking my routine drugs. But i have this burden dt is disturbing me wanna knw if any one has experienced same. Am supose to be 16wks so after that last scan i decided to go for another on thursday in another center and the sonographer said he cant see any baby oooo hmmmmmmmm my sisters i rejected it and left the center.
Meanwhile am still feeling preggy i eat alot and my weight has increase tremendously so am wondering where thr prob is. Was so worried couldnt slip so yesterday i went for blood preg test in two diff centers and it all came positive.
Abi my baby dey hide from me niii abeg mak una help me touch light this matter. Mak una no waka pass bikonu. Worried mum to be.

Sorry about the spitting, I only experienced it for a week and it wasn't convenient at all. It will soon pass or try putting garden egg in your mouth always, it helped me.

I just finished my progesterone inj this week starting proper anti natal next week.

I am 25weeks + and so far, I haven’t had any huge appetite. I never craved anything, didn’t have morning sickness. Never threw up a day. Actually, I still have not added any weight till now. At my appointment yesterday, I actually lost like 1.8kg in comparison to my weight at 7 weeks when I booked for my ANC.

My medical and gynae team are not bothered. All scans so far show baby is doing fine and everything is normal. I am booked for growth monitoring scan in 2 weeks. I said all this to let you know that all pregnancies are not the same. While some can eat a whale in pregnancy, some don’t just feel like food that much.

I think we both happened to fall in to the group of people who don’t feel so much like food

I just make sure to eat as little as I can. I have various types of nuts in my bag at all times which I just snack on

Like seriously we have almost same thing in common. No MS at all and never vomit for once. No huge appetite but I eat like 5times per day but I don't feel like eating anymore, I just eat that my baby should need food. I only crave once in a while

Ah.... we share a lot in common oh. Was also supposed to be team March 2019 but had a miscarriage at 7 weeks but back now to team November. God is very merciful and kind. I couldn’t contain my heart ache when I lost that pregnancy.... it was one of the toughest things I have gone through in life

Wow! Congratulations. God is truly merciful and kind, he made things beautiful in his time. I'm now team new year baby (January).

I am not up to 15weeks but I experienced it and still experiencing it. Like one mama said, what helped me is to eat in small small portions regularly. I could eat very well before but now if I try it, na vomit I go vomit all.
Then like you, I forced myself to eat even without appetite for my baby's sake. I can't be starving baby because I don't feel hungry. It's dangerous. So hang in there and keep eating as you can. It will pass. Abi you don dey enjoy all this while na

It is normal. Happened to me around the same time. And then, fiam one week after, I started eating like a glutton. Serious hunger pangs every 30 minutes. I'll wake from sleep about 4 times to eat before daybreak. So it's normal, just go with the flow.

As far as you're taking your prenatal vitamins, be rest assured that your baby is getting the necessary nutrient daily.

Good evening moms and moms to be in the house. Please I have a question that has been bothering me o. I am craving walnut but my husband said it's not good for pregnant women that the baby will be stammering. Please I want to know maybe it's true

Sunday night at around 11pm, I started feeling cramp like pains and I thought nothing of it. Monday morning, it kept on coming and going and I decided to time it and I realized that it lasted for 20-35 seconds and sometimes 10 mins to 15 mins apart. In my mind, I was like yes this is it ok after all, EDD was there already. I asked here and some mamas said hospital
Monday evening, my mum arrived and when I told her, she said go to the hospital to be sure just in case it happens at the middle of the night. I jejely carried my slay hand bag, wore my slaying gown and even wore G-string sef to the hospital coz I thought they'll tell me to go back home. Got to the hospital and the nurse said come let me check you well, I went with her and she checked and said you're 3cm gone, call your people to bring baby's things and the rest.
Called my mum, she brought everything I needed and I asked her to go home and rest as someone else was there with me.
From 7pm till 6am the next morning, I was just 5cm gone and they said I was slow but we're hopeful I'd give birth before night. Nurses handed over and changed shift, by 8am the new nurses started duty and when she read how slow I was going, she complained and she decided to stay with me and see. She brought her chair, sat opposite me and was with me. Around 11-12pm I was just 6cm and she said if she allows me, I won't progress on time so she fixed oxytocin drip and that's how it all started. I saw my father's grave again, again and again.
The pain became unbearable, if it hits me, I'd shout and she'd rub my waist telling me sorry, told her I wanted to poo, she said no way so I assured her it wasn't baby and she allowed me to poo.
The pain was too much told her to remove the drip she refused, I begged for CS and she said no that I can do it so I should do it, I should talk to God and my baby. I told God not to allow the nurses on night duty meet me there and he should do a miracle, told baby to please help me too.. Nurse checked, said I have a soft cervix but she's surprised why I wasn't dilating quickly
By 2:50pm, felt another urge to poo, told the nurse and she said I should wait because water wasn't broken and was no where to be found then she told me to push if the urge comes. I tried pushing and she saw the water and was able to break it. She then said if the pain or urge comes next, I should push so baby can come out.
When the next pain hit me, I tried to push and I couldn't push because I was tired and no strength. I told her that I couldn't so she should teach me. Well, I tried my best and pushed, they realised that the place was too small for her to pass so I was given a tear and I tried pushing again. With 3 pushes, she came out by 3:05pm crying with cord holding her legs . Her weight was checked, and they were surprised she weighed 3.4kg and didn't tear me as I was too tight
Time to stitch came, and I wasn't given injection o na so another drama start. I could feel every inch of the needle and when I asked for injection, was told that it'll slow my healing process and would also take time because they'll inject me at different spots. I resigned myself to fate and kept crying. The nurse was stitching as if she was sewing party dress gently.
By 3:45pm, we were done, I jejely carried my baby myself to my bed to rest and I couldn't stop looking at her . My labor for 20hrs was staring right back at me and my joy knew no bounds.

Interesting BS. It reminds me of a colleague who said when she wanted to have her first baby she got to the hospital and told the nurse she has come to birth her baby & the nurses were laughing that when you're in labor you won't say it but your actions.
You still remember to wear G - string . Congratulations once again

I was sweating profusely, yet i was shivering feverishly. I started begging my husband to help me take away the pain. We were actually almost there but the traffic was terribly slow. My husband was screaming at other drivers so loudly that i had to beg him to calm down cos i didn't want him to hit anybody's car.

We were at the hospital junction when i had the irresistible urge to poo. Before i knew what was happening, my water broke. Then i felt something between my legs. I looked down and saw my baby's head. I panicked and started screaming at my husband : " you are there watching me abi!? I'm going to give birth in this car" . (Later, he told me he thought i was saying that out of pain). Then i said to myself: 'calm down. You can do this'. I positioned myself properly and pushed; the baby came out on the third push. My husband had just pulled up at the hospital entrance when the baby came out. She started crying immediately. Hubby looked at me in shock and jumped out of the car screaming 'nurse' 'doctor'. I was screaming " somebody help me! My baby is crying". Nurses came. One took the baby and cut the cord. Another did something to my belly and the placenta came out. They brought a chair and i was wheeled into the labour ward where i was cleaned up and given some injections.

My princess came out july 23rd at 7:15pm and weighed 2.5kg.
