About the umbilical cord I was told to always clean with spirit only @ the hospital. I have no idea of sit bath because I did CS

Please mamas advise me, should I take electric jug or just flask to the hospital? you see eeeh I have one small flask like that but not so sure it will serve the purpose, I am contemplating between buying an electric jug or a big flask?

It remains just a few days, you will meet your lo soon and start vigilante. What you're doing now is pre-vigilante.
About taking flask or jug to hospital, the flask I took there I didn't use because my hospital provides me hot water with their flask 24/7, they even gave my mom hot water to bath. Though I used private hospital o. I really love their service. So it depends on the hospital policy, you might find out from their staff which one will be useful for you.

BS Alert.!!!

I had always prayed for supernatural and swift delivery like my 1st child whose labor spanned for 3hrs.
Edd was 02/2020 and I was so very tired of carrying the pregnancy.
2nd came with no signs of labor and actually made me depressed because I knew the next of line would be Induction.
On the 3rd of Jan. I woke up normal, around 10 am. I urinated a saw a drop of blood. I was surprised and kept cleaning myself till I saw specks of blood and pinkish discharge.
Then I knew my mucus plug was coming out
I called my Midwife and Dr and they td me to relax till Evening since there was no contraction

I got to Hospital 5pm and was examined to be 3cm dilated with no contraction. Dr did membrane sweep and got admit ted to allow labor progress naturally.....
From 6pm-10pm , no contraction but more mucus plug kept falling off.
I was examined around 10:30pm with no contraction and was 6cm dilated.
Then the drama started, after Dr burst the Membrane and mounted Oxytocin drip.
I went through Severe Pain from 11pm till past 12am where I screamed I wanted to defeacate.
The nurse monitoring the labor was surprised and didn't believe the fast progression.
I had to shout that ' Madam , I know my body more than you do ".
She examined got confused because the baby's head was already at the tip. Wheelchair was brought in and wheeled with speed to labor room where I pushed once and baby came out with minor tears.
The experience was swift and fast. But I was more angry because they assumed every woman must labor for long and I had the pressure to push after oxytocin drip but wasn't listened too .
God had already made it a painful labor till 6cm dilation and the labor lasted 11:30pm-12:30am.
In all I give God all the glory cz only him alone did it for me.
To all women praying For quick delivery, Ask God and it will be granted
To all those approaching Edd. God will make it a process you will know its a testimony that only God could have done it .

The vigilante is real my sister. Despite having people around me I still find it difficult to rest because I always look at him like..... I can't describe the joy sha.

I can't wait to see my bobo the kicks, jabs and heaviness in my pelvic no be here oo. To turn in bed is serious work because of the pain.

I started my leave 24th Dec so that I can properly prepare and rest before baby show up. Well I am enjoining my sleep in peace while it last but mostly disturbed by DS, I can't wait for school to resume on Monday.

Mamas biko besides eating whole organic pineapple till my tongue burns like it's currently hurting, what else can one do to effectively encourage labor? I had some contractions on Sunday which later stopped, saw my doctor yesterday and was 2cm dilated.
Aside some very mild contractions that I can barely feel, there is nothing else going on here and I want baby out, we don kuku reach our farthest due date, the rest has been passed.
I don't want to go the castor oil route except as a last measure.

Every input will be appreciated.

Also change that moko methylated spirit. It is so fake around here and yours may be too. Get another brand of methylated spirit in a reputable pharmacy. Also eat lots of oranges. A good methylated spirit should dry and feel cold immediately it touches your skin.

Sorry about that mama but please keeping the incision site dry cannot be over emphasized...please. when I had mine, it was dressed 3 times a week(cleaning with cotton wool and spirit and it was bandaged)..i didnt fully have my bath till it completely closed at 8/9 days.. i used towel and hot water with soap to clean my body and that was when my doctor removed the bandage. Please keep the site clean and dry...rest a lot..dont move around too much so you'll heal very well and wear free clothing that wont rub against the site,take your drugs well too..I wish you quick recovery.

Clean with spirit constantly. If you're on the plus size and sweats alot, clean more often.

I am a bit plus size, I sweat profusely when I return home from hospital because baby needs warm environment. I'm cleaning often and I pray it heal on time.

I have stopped wearing pants and tight but I've not been eating fruits since I birth. I will get fruits asap

Madam, I will advice you not to take your bath for now until the place is try up and you need to be cleaning your body with towel using warm water but for now, suspend the cleaning of the tummy with the towel until it dry up. You need to clean the incision place with spirit and cotton wool, four to five times a day.

My own incision was heal on time because I did not take bath for 8days, only clean my body with small towel using soap and warm water. I clean the incision for more than five times a day with spirit and cotton wool. Other Ma'am that have done operation or CS will share more light too

Thanks so much ma'am. I have suspended bathing for now. And I'm cleaning regularly. The pus has reduced anyway. Ignorance is a problem because I was healing fast before it relapse.

Please I need help urgently!!!
My incision site is bringing out pus, I went to the hospital to complain 3 days ago and my antibiotic was changed to a stronger one. I was told it's because water enters the site while bathing because it was almost dried up before we were discharged..
I was told to stop bathing for now if I can't control water flow to the site and clean it with savlon and moko spirit.
Please what else can I do to help the site heal fast.

contractions started on the night of first Jan 2020,I thought it was just Braxton Hicks,cus was expecting to deliver January ending,ignored it,went to buy few baby things the other day,well on 2nd night mehnnn the thing increase,jjc like me don't know it was real labor oo,by 1am,my hubby and I left for a health center close to me,the nurse after shooting his hand in my vaginal,told me to go home that is false,haba, I went home,the thing double, could not sleep,dh too,by six we left to the second hospital that I registered,I was like I don't care whether is false labor or true oo,cut me and bring out this baby oo, something else has taken over my body,the nurse we met checked me and said haa madam u are already 4cm oo, oya pull off ND lie down,the thing increased ooo, I screamed ND screamed,by 7:30,a doc came shook his hand again and said am just 5cm and told the nurse that if in 2hrs there is no change,they should put the hot drip,I said two hrs ke!I will just die,put the hot dream now,they put it,women of Nigeria,naso madness started oo,ewohhh,I was screaming,kambashing in togues,chei,shouting mama moo,dimoo, doctor remove this thing,give me CS,is it by force oo,I pull my head, scratch anyone that came close,my eyes was on the clock,at 2pm,I was checked,7cm,chai,na how I pull out the drip,ran out of the room to the corridor naked, shouting,they were saying hei,hold this woman,hold her,me I don't care,I felt like village people were against me that moment,they brought me BK and said they will chain me,did they force me to do it,better behave,haa,by the way Dh was begging them,give her CS please,my wife ehhh, I stayed on the bed, shouting,I can't explain the pains,I get relieved on for 7or 10 second and it start,by 4pm,an angel nurse came and checked me, she told me madam,I want to help u and birth this child,if not u will stay here till tomorrow,she said oya comply,I said nurse oo, anything,get me out of this pains,she put hand,is like she pulled the baby down and said oya pull like u wanna poo,I pushed,pooed,pushed the second time,na how this my little boy came out screaming like I have been screaming ��,with a little cut,I felt relieved immediately,baby weighed 2;7,chooooo, see mamas I skipped alot as not to bore u ooo,but it ended in praise,I appreciate all the mamas here regardless of how u birth,we are the real deal,the special grace given to us eeh, January mamas Weldon,u will all have a very smooth delivery,fear not,u have been given a very special destiny that must be fulfilled,ehe,they said as soon as u birth u forget,Biko I never forget oo,my mouth is still paining me��,baby ND mama fine fine, Osinachi Jasper my son came into the world on the 3rd of January 2020,entered into the next stage. signing out,let other mamas follow.
