I'm still waddling here, I'm tired!!!!! D pain in my lower abdomen CNT b compared to any pain I have ever felt in my life . 29 of jan seems so far. God pls i need to deliver before den. I CNT walk, sit sleep or change from side to side, its helllllllll. Can't wait to hold my lo. Been taking 1hr brisk walking everyday, pineapple n zobo BT labor no gree come. What else can I do mothers, baby already 3.6, I want to deliver today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone suld pls help me i am going nuts from the unending pain n discomfort.

I think it’s unnecessary. Colic and squirming is quite “normal” in newborns as their intestines develop. Rather than give him drugs bicycle his legs (check YouTube videos) and do tummy massages, he will outgrow it. According to my pead, it’s not pain per se they are just trying to figure out their digestive system (although it’s not fun to see them groan and twist)

Thanks my January teamie that ported to December with me. I went to see my Dr today and complained about it and he said it's normal also, so I finger crossed. God's protection over our princes.

Let me drop BS cos I’ve seen my name in Joyfulmama’s defaulters

Don’t really have much story as I went the Elective route this time due to the plenty drama with my first (overdue, induction failed, emergency CS, big baby)

My original CS date was moved back by 2 days due to Doctor’s availability so I ended up having a 2019 baby. I checked in the morning of the CS, was admitted till evening and walked into the theatre around 6pm

I was then prepped with drips and spinal anesthesia. Surgery started about 6:20, baby was brought out around 6:35 and I was closed up and wheeled out about to 7 (I was drowsy at this point so not too sure of the time). The entire process was smooth and gist was flowing in the theatre

Recovery has been relatively smooth although the incision is slower to heal being the 2nd cut on the same scar. I walked up and down stairs the next morning, was discharged on day 3 and mostly back to normal 3 weeks pp

On this note dazzit from me. I didn’t hang my boots, I dropped it in the theatre when I was leaving. Anybody that needs it can go and pick it there. I will have daughters when my sons marry

Congratulations once again teamie to the core, we both end up having Dec babies (boys). See loyalty. Hug and kisses to you and my prince. He will be great in life. I'm also slaying again, I don't think I remember the waddling anymore. God is wonderful

My baby boy landed Jan 17th through E/C-section. Mummy, papa n my soldiers are doing well.

Nothing special, went to hospital Dec 27th to try my luck cos I was tired but yimu I got sent back home, went back Jan 17th n my baby was brought out. Officially mama boys. I have thrown the boots inside Atlantic ocean so we are done.

Seriously though, not every child experience that. Besides it is not an illness and totally natural and part of growing up. Just Google 'gas in babies' to understand better, I can't type plenty.

Good evening wonderful mothers. I'm a ftm and my baby is 3wks old. A friend said I should get Nospamin for my baby because he might be having stomach pain. I want to ask if truly it's safe to give baby without Dr's prescription or I should see Dr first

My BS. I had been having painless contraction s for like a month. On Monday 6th January a day to my last edd woke up normal all of a sudden I felt a gush of liquid. I I thought it was water but discovered it was blood. I told dh I think something might be wrong because the show I saw wit my first wasn't this much. We headed to the hospital we were immediately asked to go for scan to rule out placenta preavia. The scan showed everything was fine. Doctor asked me to remain in the hospital for monitoring was later discharged in the evening when bleeding stopped. On Tuesday 7th was my final edd and ante natal I complained of seeing blood clot after the bleeding stopped. Doctor asked me to be admitted and started hinting about cs because they don't understand the cause of the bleeding. I told I would go home and do the bed rest but he refused so i snuck out of the hospital. No incidence again but they started calling me on phone to come back the next day that I had implicated the nurses on duty commandant asked them to produce me or else... (Its a military hospital). Long story short I presented myself back on Thursday which was dh's birthday for bed rest only for contractions to start almost immediately I entered the hospital. No baby things cos I wasnt having any contractions before I left home. Told dh to go back home for hospital bag, my prince came out almost immediately dh left the hospital. After about 30 minutes labor. No tear. i gave dh the most spectacular birthday gift ever, birthday mate. Sorry for the long post. joyfulmama BS submitted o.

Thank you cappo. Am sorry about the roll calls. I saw another doctor last night and he asked to drink ORS and request I check my bp daily. A friend also suggested I take coke daily. I feel less tired this morning thou and would check my bp later in the day

ORS is sugar salt solution I believe it will work for low BP. Try to increase your salt intake as it increases BP level. I was advised to reduce salt when my BP was getting high. But I don't know about coke.

Good afternoon bellefull mamas, I have been a silent but registered mama at 39 weeks plus. So I went for my appointment on Monday and I had a bp of 97/57. The midwife suggested I see a doctor that my bp is low and asked if I was eating well or not. On seeing the doctor, I was told it was not a big deal. However I notice I get tired easily and I always feel like sleeping all day. Please has anyone had this experience and what is the way forward. I am scared I may not have enough strength for labour.

Teamie it's been a while you come online, you don't even answer roll calls, but good to know you are fine.
Please low BP is very dangerous, see another doctor for 2nd opinion and eat right. You can Google it to know what to do on your own part. The lord will see you through the remaining days. We await your BA

On Saturday evening,I took an evening walk,while at it,I was on the phone with my sister and she had been telling me to take castor oil,so I summoned the courage that evening bought castor oil on my way back home,took about half the bottle immediately I got home and infact the effect was immediate,I started stooling,I did a couple of times then managed to get a little sleep though I could already start feeling light contractions.At about 3am I just couldn’t stay in bed again,I knew that was it,I walked around,then started timing the contractions,at 4am I woke DH to get ready,5am we left for the hospital.When the contraction comes I would shout ‘stop the car’!...when he stops I’ll still be the one to shout do you want me to have this baby in the car Just move! and make sure you don’t shake me!
HOSPITAL: Water broke while they were getting vitals,I was 5cm,I had requested epidural,they tried discouraging me since I was progressing fast and it would slow me down but I no gree oh,epi was fixed but mehn...I was till In pain.
I had told hubby I wanted videos,when he tried to make one I was like “you that’s what you came here for abi”? Just go outside...lol,plenty other drama,I was just begging God,doctor,nurses,everyone for help till 9:15am when my baby boy popped out after about 4pushes leaving mummy with a tear.We are fine and back home...Thank God for mercies.Safe and swift delivery to everyone.

Birth story and Testimony:

God is indeed faithful!! I was diagnosed of pcos after 3 miscarriages and later I was TTC for about 2years. One day my friend read a testimony about someone with exactly my case on Instagram. I contacted her and she prescribed the drug and other things she used to get pregnant and at 1st trial I got pregnant.#Oluwaseun now anxiety to make the pregnancy stays sets in fast forward God sent me a doctor and I was only placed on primolut progesterone and I have an amazing smooth journey.

Fast forward to 37weeks scan say my baby is 3.4kg naso I started panicking oh..I stopped eating oh ..because I was scared of the way people talk about stitches.

This my story is getting boring oh..anyways on friday at exactly week 40 I was so over the pregnancy that I started crying in the night rubbing my bump, talking to my baby to please come. After those tears I drank water and went to bed that was how baby started kicking seriously and I was awake till 4am due to kicks without pains oh..
fast forward to 7:30am On Saturday i started feeling contractions ..went to toilet around 9:30am to pee naso I see blood show o.. I called my husband that it's time oga said ...Time keh and you are here brushing teeth he thought it was supposed to start with drama( too much movie) ..
anyways we got to hospital and I was 3cm dilated after 3hours still same thing ..that was when they pass drip oh... The pain increased but i discovered my pain tolerance is 90% that day .. instead of drama I was just on that bed praying and drinking glucose water it helps ... no loud screams at all ... I practice the breathing techniques and it helped ...after few hours I was fully dilated.

Oya time to push ..lord Jesus anyways it ended in praises
My princess came out weighing 2.8kg on 11th jan 2020 ..so cute and fresh ( mama watermelon is your friend oh) .and I got stitches that has to be my biggest fear ever.. it's an amazing journey. Rejoice with me mothers. He is a faithful God...sorry for long post oh....


please how do i care for my jajaina with stitches...some say I should sit on warm water some say hot some say none ..i tire o.

Lost my DS this morning, 16weeks and 4 days. Been admitted in the hospital since Saturday after continuous pain all through the night. Doc suspecting fibroid degeneration as that was what they were treating for. Looking back now, I guess all the constant pains were red flags . Signing out, team July

Modified: as a first timer, what do I need to do to heal faster, the fibroid pain is still there,..

So sorry ma'am. The lord will give you double for your loss. Please talk to your Dr and follow his advice. You will come back sooner than expect and carry to term ijn

Our prayers has been answered, our heart desires granted and our hopes fulfilled. We welcomed our son at 9:25pm.

I will quickly drop my BS as well before vigilante takes over and drains me.

I started feeling some mild contractions on Thursday but could manage through it, later that evening we decided to go get checked at the hospital b'cos I figured that at least the dilation checking will somehow disturb my cervix and probably get things going more quickly besides all the pains can't be for nothing na. The on call doctor checked and I was 2cm and 30% effaced, my contractions weren't established, so I was sent back home. My doctor had earlier on tuesday informed me that I'm booked for induction on Monday for inducement as I was already way past my due date if I don't fall into labor naturally. I have low threshold for pain, so inducement is a nightmare.

On Sunday morning at about 4am, I woke up with mild contractions that were 30mins apart, I knew it wasn't the real deal so I got ready for church. When I got home, I took a nap and woke up worried as Monday was already here and my contractions were still stalled.
I called hubby and began to guilt trip him(it works all the time ), I began to rant about he will devote himself praying for others in dire situations and would get results but now his wife is about being induced and he's yet to do something about it. I told him I was wondering Why would I be married to a man of God and still worry about such situations.
He felt really bad and told me he has prayed and told me I won't be induced but my faith is weak, he said he didn't have to pray within hearing distance for me to know he has been praying about it. I shaa told him that I don't see him praying about it as often as expected.
Bros apologized, we held hands and prayed.
Less than 15mins later, my contractions started again and was more established, so I began to time them. After sometime, they were 5 mins apart so we set off for the hospital, then the pains were manageable but constant. I just kept praying that Jesus make it easy and swift.

We got to the hospital, the on-call doctor checked and I was 4cm and 40% effaced. 4cm ke? With this steady contractions? Today na today. I didn't believe it so I asked the midwife to check, she did and it was same thing
Hubby asked them how much longer it might take to dilate fully, the doctor said 3 hrs or more as it's my 3rd delivery. Hubby said that wasn't true, that I would be ready for birthing in 20mins. The doctor said he didn't think so because I was not even 50% effaced at the time, hubby told him to go and come back to check in 20mins.
While all these was going on, I was busying chopping undiluted pain and chewing away that poor washcloth I brought to the hospital with me(I will need to see a dentist as I nearly cracked my teeth gawning away my pains at that poor small towel).
About 15mins later, the chief Ob-Gyn came in as we had called him earlier. He checked and I was 8cm and 100% effaced . God honored his word because I couldn't bear that unimaginable pain any longer.
People of God, that was how they started getting ready to deliver. He busted my water, the contractions grew moustache and ugly beards, the pain was Really ugly but the towel I was chewing hard at helped me not to scream much.

They fixed the oxytocin drip and had me pushing at each strong contractions, 4 pushes and my boy was born. I had a tear, first time tearing with 3 babies. I asked him not to give me a cut but the baby tore me. I was stitched and handed over my amazing gift that I didn't have to return. He weighed 3.2kg, quite a shock as my 2017 daughter weighed 3.5kg and I didn't tear but this Bobo is well worth it.

*Contractions became painful at home and was established at about 6.40pm-7pm (according to my contraction timer app), We left home and arrived the hospital at 8:45pm and I had him at 9:25pm.

Jesus glorified himself, our home is complete. Daddy is over the moon, his big bro and sis are excited to meet him tomorrow(School is canceled for 2moro) and This mother's heart and hands are full!!!
