Politics / BREAKING: APC To Punish Tinubu Over Utterances Against Buhari by Joylove2324(f): 6:19pm On Jun 04, 2022
The national leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has described as unacceptable the outburst of a national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu against President Muhammadu Buhari.

Noting that the apology later offered by Mr Tinubu was not enough, the party said it may punish the presidential aspirant for the outburst.

Details later …

Politics / APC Ticket: Buhari Disowns Jonathan’s Presidential Bid by Joylove2324(f): 9:13am On May 30, 2022
Two days after former President Goodluck Jonathan got a reprieve from a Federal High Court, removing the constitutional obstruction that now makes him eligible to contest 2023 presidency, President Muhammadu Buhari has distanced himself from any plot to draft Jonathan into the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential race.

Indications have emerged that while few APC members, including a Northern governor, are behind the push to draft Jonathan into the ruling party’s presidential primary, a Presidency source late on Sunday, however, revealed that President Buhari has taken measures to distance himself from the plot.

The impeccable source in the Villa disclosed that instructions have consequently been given that there shall be no public release of photos of any meetings between the former President and the incumbent at this time as the President does not want such images to be used to confer any modicum of support to the plot to get Jonathan into the race.

According to the source, there are also concerns that the aides of the ex-President are “involved in actively keeping the plot alive in the media by releasing photos of his visits to the APC Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Alhaji Mamman Daura, the President’s influential nephew, to insinuate that these two gentlemen are in support of the plot.”

However, while speculative news reports have claimed the APC has granted Jonathan waiver to join the presidential race even though he is not known to have properly fulfilled membership requirements, there has not been any formal confirmation that he submitted the presidential nomination forms or whether he would be included in the screening expected to happen this week.

Meanwhile, the source added that the former president is not being precluded from visiting the Presidential Villa at this time in line with protocol, being a former President in good standing and due to his international assignments for which he has to regularly brief President Buhari.

Although President Buhari has not indicated who he is backing for the APC presidential primary, the Presidency source explained that “Jonathan is certainly not in the picture at all and the mentioning of his name has been invoking feelings of absurdity and ridicule in the Villa.”

The source recalled that “when during a public interview earlier this year, a journalist asked the president to use one word to describe the PDP, he instantly said ‘failure,’ how then would the same person who strongly feels that way would then be contemplating supporting the same PDP candidate he roundly defeated?”

It was also disclosed that neither the APC Chairman nor Daura are behind the plot to draft Jonathan, as it is being suggested. According to the source, “it’s only the aides of the ex-president that are going to town to create such an impression.”

The source further added: “All of these plots would be over in a matter of days as the APC presidential primaries are now irretrievably set and the President’s choice would be known.”

ALSO, former Secretary to the Federal Government, Chief Olu Falae, has attributed the plot to draft Jonathan into the race to the desperate attempt by some powerful forces to quickly return power to the North after his one term in 2027.

Falae, who faulted the moves while speaking with journalists in Akure, the Ondo state capital, yesterday, wondered how Jonathan that was booted out over incompetency and corruption, suddenly became a beautiful bride to the powerful forces from the North.

He, however, maintained that the country could only move forward if she embraces restructuring, noting that the present constitution of the country is faulty and should be replaced to move the country forward.

“There could never be peace in the country with this quasi-unitary Constitution, which is what some people want to hang on to because it suits them in a faulty arrangement, without doing the needful.

“The man you threw away from government, describing him an incompetent man, an idiot, an slowpoke and there was no name they didn’t call him and you are calling him back to ask him to come back to rule.

“And there is only one reason for that. The only reason they are asking Goodluck to come back is that he will spend one term as President. They don’t want the presidency to be in the South for more than four years.

“They want it quickly back in the North. So they want to use Goodluck to achieve that objective against his own people. They don’t care what he does if he goes back this time around and is a ‘bigger thief’ this time, or if he is more incompetent this time, it does not bother them as long as they get back to power quickly. Are we on the same plane? Do we have the same objective?

“They will sacrifice anything Nigeria as long as they get what they want. So, this is where we are, and that’s why we need a political party not what I call an opportunistic gang up for power. That’s what PDP is; that’s what APC is – opportunistic gang up for power, not parties.

“So, without restructuring, we are wasting our time because the English man was not a fool when he gave us a truly federal constitution. It is within the ambit of a truly federal constitution that 448 different ethnic nationalities can co-exist with reasonable amity and peace,” he said.

MEANWHILE, President Buhari has been urged to adopt the consensus method for the forthcoming APC presidential primary to protect the nation’s currency. According to a founding member of the party, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, who made the plea in an interaction with journalists in Abuja, yesterday, he said using indirect methodology opens the primary to monetisation and depreciation of the naira.

While pointing out that a nation’s currency is one of the critical indices of measuring the general health of its economy, Okechukwu stressed that when the currency nose-dives, hyper-inflation, gross unemployment and abject poverty ensue thereby worsening the nation’s security.

Okechukwu, who is also the Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), said: “Sincerely, I congratulate Atiku Abubakar on his emergence from the opposition party primary, but, as a patriot and stakeholder in the Nigeria project, I am worried by PDP’s induced dollar rain, which led to unprecedented depreciation of the Naira. If that could happen in a party with about 731 delegates, imagine what will happen if APC with about 2,322 delegates is allowed to indulge in dollar rain.”

HOWEVER, the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF) has described the emergence of Atiku as a brazing affront on the people of Southern Nigeria.

In a statement jointly signed by Senator Bassey Ewa-Henshaw of PANDEF, Okey Emuchay of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Jare Ajayi of Afenifere, Dr. Isuwa Dogo of Middle Belt Forum (MBF) and Ken Robinson, Acting Coordinator of SMBLF, the leaders roundly rejected the candidacy of Atiku and called on true lovers of peace and unity not to vote for him or any other Northerner next year in the interest of posterity.

“Again, SMBLF calls on all politicians of Southern extraction to refuse the position of a running mate to any Northern presidential candidate, which will equally be viewed as subjugating their people to political slavery.”

Lamenting the outcome of the PDP presidential primary, Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Mazu Okechukwu Isiguzoro, described Atiku’s emergence as an erratic and corrupt process that was overseen by the North against the South.

“It’s amusing that PDP is now a political party for the Northern region, with Dr. Iyocha Ayu as Chair, Walid Jubril as BOT Chair and Atiku as 2023 presidential candidate, all from Northern Nigeria. Another Northerner, Senator David Mark, supervised the process that schemed out Igbo from PDP.

“The outcome of the PDP primary is a pointer that Igbo should boycott the presidential election as a protest in response to the grand conspiracy against Ndigbo. We are waiting for the APC presidential primary to take the final decision on whether or not if Igbos will participate in the 2023 elections,” he said.

HOW Ndigbo will return to national politics in 2023 will dominate a proposed meeting of Igbo leaders scheduled for Enugu State next week. The Guardian gathered that the meeting followed the outcome of the PDP presidential primary last weekend as well as the widely held notion that the APC, whose primary is billed for next week, could toe similar line of giving a Northerner its presidential ticket.

It was gathered that the Enugu meeting, which would involve political leaders across party lines and religious leaders from the zone would also weigh the possibility of the region producing the vice president or pulling its support base to any other political platform that may give an Igbo person its presidential ticket.

Although other details about the meeting remained sketchy as of press time, Ohanaeze Ndigbo in reaction to the emergence of Atiku, stated that it was not surprised, reiterating however that the development notwithstanding, Ndigbo would not accept running mate of any candidate.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo stated that Ndigbo would contest the presidency of the country in 2023, as a matter of justice, equity and fairness, stressing that the move by the PDP to “repay the zone with the denial of presidency would be resisted.”

National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr Alex Ogbonnia, told The Guardian yesterday that “Igbo are still focused on the presidency. The PDP has done their own and that of the APC is still being expected. The outcome of these primaries will determine our next move. We are not making calculations on the Vice Presidential running mate for now. Ohanaeze will speak on that at the right time.

“One thing I can tell you is that Mr Peter Obi is still in the race for presidency. He is contesting under the Labour party and our people will not rest until we get a ticket for the presidency.”

Also reacting, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Chekwas Okorie, stated that the emergence of Atiku lent credence to his earlier position that neither PDP nor the APC would give its presidential ticket to the Southeast.

Okorie, who recently resigned from APC to rejoin APGA, stated that it was unfortunate that PDP could not concede its ticket to the Southeast after several years of sacrifice by the people of the region to project the party.
JOIN the moving train of the ballot revolution of the working people crystallising in the Labour Party, the Third Force Movement under the umbrella of the National Consultative Front (NCFront) has urged leaders of conscience in the country. This is coming against the backdrop that the Third Force Movement has adopted Labour Party as the alternative ‘Big Tent’ for the 2023 elections.

This call was made by Head of Public Affairs of NCFront, Dr Tanko Yunusa, in Asaba, Delta State, while addressing supporters and delegates of the Labour Party, who were in the city to attend the presidential primary of the party today at the Orchid Hotels, GRA, Asaba.

Yunusa, in company of other party chieftains and bigwigs also used the occasion to carpet the ‘cash and carry’ primaries of the APC and PDP, describing it as corruptive and criminal, calling on the EFCC to immediately go after the candidates and delegates of the APC and PDP for destroying Nigeria’s electoral system and moral fabric.

The Front, while also applauding the bubbling political synergy between two leading presidential aspirants of the party, Peter Obi and Pat Utomi, also condemned the activities of some disgruntled elements and sponsored agents by APC and PDP in the media, trying to create a false picture of disunity in the party.

THE Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) has faulted the alleged inducement of party delegates with money by aspirants in the ongoing primaries of the different political parties. It lamented that party delegates are mortgaging the future and the already terrible situation of the country.

Speaking to journalists during Mass to mark the 2022 World Communication Day yesterday in Abuja, CSN Director, Social Communication, Rev Fr. (Dr) Michael Nsikak Umoh, observed that what transpired during the primaries showed that party delegates are not choosing those who can help the people and the country out of their present predicaments but those who have given them money.

Also, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), on Sunday, faulted the process that produced Atiku as PDP presidential candidate. The group warned the second biggest party, the ruling APC, to move against a Northern candidate and make a Southerner, especially a candidate of Southeast extraction, its presidential flag bearer in the spirit of fairness and to preserve the unity of Nigeria.

HURIWA, in a statement by its National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, said Atiku’s emergence was allegedly heavily compromised by undue monetisation and the PDP delegates gave their candidate’s slot to the highest bidder.

Politics / 2023: I’m Leaving – Tinubu’s Campaign DG, Jibrin Dumps APC by Joylove2324(f): 7:29pm On May 07, 2022
The Director General of the Bola Tinubu Campaign Organization, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has announced his decision to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

In a tweet on Saturday evening, Jibrin, who is expected to be actively involved in the coming APC presidential primary election, said he was moving on from the party.

With this latest development, some Nigerians on social media are wondering what will become of his position in Tinubu’s camp while others wonder if the national leader of the APC may also dump the party.

Jibrin said he would return with full details of his reasons to dump the ruling party, but there is the feeling that the former lawmaker has envisaged a ‘not-too-good’ future for Tinubu.

“I have done my best for APC. It’s time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours Insha Allah.

“I will make a formal statement in due course. Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin,” Jibrin tweeted, promising to provide more details later.

Politics / Compelling Questions On Today's Meeting Of Apc Presidential Aspirants From South by Joylove2324(f): 12:01pm On May 06, 2022
IN WHOSE INTEREST?

*COMPELLING QUESTIONS ON TODAY'S MEETING OF APC PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS FROM SOUTHWEST*

By Tobi Aradeyo

There has been some buzz about a meeting called recently by leaders of the APC in the Southwest for all presidential aspirants in the zone. The names of Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Olusegun Osoba have been mentioned as behind it, in an attempt to forge some unanimity of purpose on the 2023 Presidential bid.

But while this may be seen as a well-intentioned effort, there are some compelling issues.

From the look of things, it appears that very little objectivity can be expected at this meeting.

First of all, several of the participants are beholden to Asiwaju and will never tell him the truth. Check this out: Baba Akande is clearly not going to confront Tinubu on any point. He has benefited extensively from Tinubu’s largesse over the years.

Baba came up in his recent book with the controverted narrative that Asiwaju nominated Osinbajo when in fact Tinubu opposed his nomination when it mattered most, wanting the VP post desperately for himself.

Another prominent attendee expexted is Femi Gbajabiamila, who has expended every resource and energy in propagating Tinubu’s candidacy. In any event as a Lagos politician his political future depends on Tinubu’s pleasure.

There will also be Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the meeting. In fact he would be the host. But what will poor Sanwo-Olu be doing at the meeting? His political future and second term hang in the balance. He will be prepared to physically slap Osinbajo if he is ordered to do so by Tinubu!

Same as Tinubu’s cousin and protege Gboyega Oyetola, the Governor of Osun State. Can he dare speak truth to the Jagaban? Of course not.

For some of the elders who may also be at the meeting, the well known fact is that many of them are either current beneficiaries of the former Lagos State Governor or are certainly sympathetic to him already regarding this 2023 matter. Who doesn’t know that many of them owe their political ascendency to the Jagaban?

Even Pastor Tunde Bakare, did he not recently preach a sermon pontificating on why Tinubu should get the support of everyone to be President? Even there are claims that his entering the Presidential race now is only to secure a platform to force down the hands of the VP somehow down the road.

So what kind of meeting is this going to be? How objective can the deliberations go? Who and who ought to be attending? In whose interest is this meeting called? These are the pointers for people to follow as this drama unfolds soon at the Flag House of the Lagos Government at the Marina.

Politics / APC Presidency: Tinubu, Osinbajo Groups Differ Over South-West Meeting by Joylove2324(f): 4:00am On May 06, 2022
LAGOS—Two groups promoting the presidential bid of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and national leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, were yesterday at each others’ throats over the proposed meeting of South West aspirants contesting on the platform of the party.

While the Director-General of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Our Choice 2023, BATOC23, Dr. Ayo Owoade, described the meeting as a necessity to keep the zone in a vantage position to pick the ticket, the Convener of Progressive Lawyers for Osinbajo, PLO, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, alleged that the meeting had been prepared to favour a particular aspirant.

The meeting, slated for Lagos today, is convened by former governors of Osun and Ogun states, Bisi Akande and Olusegun Osoba, as well as other party stakeholders.

Aspirants as the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, and former governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, who have all declared interest to contest the presidency on the platform of the party, are expected to attend the meeting.

It’ll place region in vantage position — BATOC23 D-G

Reacting to the scheduled meeting, BATOC23’s Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Abimbola Tooki, urged the party to go for a candidate who could unite the people and develop Nigeria.

The statement read: “Fairness and justice should be the watchword of APC in the zone in picking its candidate for the presidential election, ahead of 2023.

“The conveners of the meeting should work to build a united front for the South West to take over power from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. The party must also realise that in-fighting, internal wrangling and crisis will not help it to achieve its desired result in the forthcoming presidential election.

“BATOC23 believes that the party, at this time, needs a strong personality with a lot of experience, who can bring the nation together.

“What is urgently required is for the party to present a candidate with pedigree and clout to salvage the country. The zone needs to field a candidate with the capability to ruthlessly tackle insecurity, unemployment, poverty and other worrisome conditions that plague Nigeria and Nigerians.

“We need someone that will bring succour and joy to every home and for this to happen, South West has to put its house in order to occupy this position in 2023 and if we don’t get it right internally, resolving all crises from within, it may spell doom for our zone in particular and the party in general.”

It’s a wrong motive, wrong move — PLO

But in its reaction, the PLO convener, Dr Ajulo, however, described the meeting as a wrong move.

Ajulo said: “The attention of the Progressive Lawyers for Osinbajo, PLO, has been drawn to a proposed meeting by some leaders of the APC in South West for the APC presidential aspirants of South West extraction slated to hold today, at State House, Marina, Lagos.

“We want to commend this initiative which we believe was borne out of our earlier call on the Yoruba leaders to hold a strategic conference to provide direction towards the fate of the South West in the coming presidential election.

“While it is our utmost desire that such an important meeting be conveyed to establish a consensus harmony among the aspirants of the APC in South West, we want to state clearly that it should be designed appropriately to promote fairness.

“This scheduled meeting should have been a welcome development but for the following configurations which were not rightfully designed.

“The composition of personality invited for this meeting is a testament to our position that the meeting is a sectional affair of the APC and clearly not in the interest of the southwest and Nigeria.

“The Choice of Venue: Lagos Flag House in Marina, Lagos belongs to Lagos State and associates. This venue should not play host to such a meeting if it will be adjudged to be credible and fair. The meeting, if it is for the collective good of the people, should be held at neutral locations like Ibadan, Oyo State or Akure, Ondo State.”

Faulting what it described as an unclear agenda of the meeting, Ajulo said: “We can state for a fact that the motive of this meeting is inexplicit and undefined to many of the invited aspirants as most of them were never engaged. How the meeting is conveyed like a secret proceeding shows that the conveners have no defined agenda productive enough to be for the benefit of all.

“Information at our disposal has it that a communiqué has already been prepared, and in favour of a particular aspirant. This document is currently in circulation among some of the invitees.

“The above-stated positions have lent credence to the incredibility of the proposed meeting as well as the unreliability of same as a compass for the Southwest in the 2023 presidential election.

“We want to reiterate in clear terms that our recent call was directed at notable, respected and apolitical Yoruba leaders, who are genuinely interested in the development of the South West and Nigeria; leaders who patriotically and tenaciously hold on to the history and heritage of Yorubaland and the upliftment of the masses against inordinate personal gains.

“It is undoubted and without gainsaying that the meeting as conveyed with a prewritten communiqué without the inclusion of notable statesmen on the list of invitees is premeditated and planned to serve a purpose which will not be beneficial to the southwest and Nigeria.”

Politics / 2023: What Nigerians Should Expect In Osinbajo Presidency by Joylove2324(f): 8:25am On May 05, 2022
By Kehinde Adeoye

In the past weeks after Monday, April 11, 2022, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s declaration speech has been the most talked about in the public space as everyone began to have a bite from every bit and piece of the inspiring speech.

Both the literate and nonliterate Nigerians participated in the engagements in what looked like the most engaged political discussion in Nigeria’s recent history. The statistics of the declaration video are mouth-watering as it gained traction in both the mainstream media and other news blogs in Nigeria, especially the micro-blogging space, Twitter and Facebook.

Up until now, the hashtag #OsinbajoDeclares still trends in Nigeria. This has left so much to be said for analysts, Osinbajo enthusiasts and the rest of the world.

The declaration did not come as a shock to many because the rumour had been persistent over the last few months, but the dynamics around it have left many talking with so much to be said.

Right from the moment the former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu made his intention known to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, it became a national debate whether or not Osinbajo would run. It grew to become a subject of analysis not just for political and social commentators, but for every average Nigerian who has followed the political proceedings, especially the Tinubu-Osinbajo conundrum.

Asiwaju’s earlier declaration of interest in the Presidency had spurred up more calls for Osinbajo as his support base grew astronomically.

Many believe Osinbajo had begun his consultation perhaps earlier than Asiwaju, as undoubtedly, the Vice President has enjoyed the love of many, especially the youth who believes he has all it takes to attend to the growing economic concerns in the country and provide jobs for millions of unemployed Nigerians.

Osinbajo’s performance when he supervised the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) is a strong indication that he has the capacity and the intellect to provide jobs for our teeming youths if he becomes Nigeria’s president in 2023.

In his declaration video, first of all, his style of declaration was away from the norm. No one could have predicted it, not even his teeming supporters.

The VP totally deviated from the conventional styles Nigerians were used to and which, of course, several other candidates have explored over the years. The big hall or open-air and a heavy crowd kind of presentation are what used to be obtainable. That was the expectation from many Nigerians, but the Star Boy as fondly called came up with the most unique form of declaration that probably costs nothing or little monetary cost to arrange. This in a way tells us how less extravagant his style of governance would be if elected.

In the first part of his speech, he made sure he referenced the President, calling him a patriot and a servant of the nation in war and peace. This is not far from the truth because President Buhari in the last seven years has dedicated his all to see a better Nigeria. Despite the many challenges, especially in the area of security and economy, he has remained an optimist, with the utmost hope and belief that the best is on the way.

The Vice President made sure he took a few steps back to bring memories of the giant strides of the Buhari-led administration. He highlighted some of his activities over the last seven years, his engagements with so many sectors, and his official visits to different states and regions in Nigeria, especially in Borno State, the Northeastern state, ravaged by the Boko Haram insurgents, the less privileged and all.

Osinbajo is widely regarded as the backbone of the administration. It is believed that the President hands over to him the most difficult tasks and he always executes them with finesse. This can be seen in his implementation of the National Social Investment Programmes, the MSMEs clinic and the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP), which got so many praises and commendations home and abroad.

Osinbajo has related immensely with every sector. Nigeria’s security, agriculture, mining, economy, military, infrastructure, business environment, the creative and other sectors. He has identified with them, he understands their concerns, and he knows what they want and what they need.

One of such programmes Osinbajo pioneered called: “The Family Chat,” where he visits the homes of the less privileged, engages them from time to time, and relates well with them to identify the average concern of the common man, has been another highlight of his personality. This is something out of the ordinary. Only someone with great love for the people can ever think of that.

Osinbajo’s involvement with the MSMEs clinic and Trader Moni, one of the components of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) under the National Social Investment Programmes allows him to walk within markets and business points, which he didn’t shy away from.

President Buhari at a time showed concern about the way Osinbajo mingles with the people in public. But do you blame the President? He was only trying to protect his most-prized asset. Osinbajo is no doubt a man of the people. What is bred in the bones never goes through the flesh.

No wonder he said: “I’ve stood where you stand and sat where you sit. I know and understand our hopes, aspirations and fears from a place of relatable proximity; and I believe that in those hopes and aspirations are the seeds for the great Nigeria that we all desire”

Osinbajo, in the video, proceeded with the promise to complete the massive infrastructural developments already embarked upon by this administration. What we have seen in the last seven years is an unbelievable and massive turnaround, especially in the area of road and rail. He also touched on every important sector with the promise to extensively complete ongoing projects and executive other plans of the administration.

The need to create a tech economy was also mentioned. Osinbajo is known to be a big fan of tech development and the business environment, and his involvement with the social welfare schemes and the MSMEs clinic are all in a bid to provide jobs for millions of Nigerians, especially the unemployed graduates.

Osinbajo’s involvement with PEBEC has created an enabling environment for businesses to thrive. Just recently, Nigeria ranked high in the world bank ease of doing business. This is a testament to Osinbajo’s vision for the growth and expansion of local businesses.

As we all know, unity is the bedrock of progress. If the country is divided, coming together for a singular purpose will be impossible. Over the years, we have suffered the consequence of religious intolerance, bigotry, tribal sentiment and hate. The division between us has dragged us a mile back.

At this time, Nigeria needs a leader who understands that a unified nation would grow in no time. The coming together of tribes and religions will help businesses improve, it will bring everyone together to reach a common goal, and so far, Osinbajo has been an advocate of peace and unity.

Osinbajo preaches unity at any chance he gets. While speaking on the need for Nigerians to come together, he said: “Let us build a Nigeria where the man from Nnewi sees the man in Gusau as his brother, where the woman in Warri sees the woman in Jalingo as her sister, where the love of our nation burns alike in the hearts of boys and girls from Gboko to Yenagoa”

“Where everywhere in this land is home for everyone, where our diversities, tribes and faiths unite, rather than divide us.”

“Let our tribes become one tribe; the Nigerian tribe, where all are treated fairly, justly and with respect. Where all are given equal access to the abundant opportunities that God has bestowed on this nation.”

Fellow Nigerians, I can confidently say we already have a clue of what Osinbajo intends to achieve, what his desires and aspirations are for the country. We are sure that every sector will have a touch of difference. This is no doubt what Nigerians want and deserve at this trying time.
