No doubt, 8th assembly we definitely be missed, there leader is courageous and smart.

He's young and vibrant and that's what we need at the moment.

If you like, you can Hate Saraki, it's your choice but the fact he's a good leader who knows the right thing to do at the right time can't be overlooked.

If you're the type that always says "Saraki is a thief " I'll only ask you to show me a leader who doesn't steal public funds...

Nobody Holy and we all make mistakes. He has make his own and I know he'll definitely learn and he'll be back and stronger.

Let's be guided, only time we tell, you'll definitely see true true meaning of "Next Level" of this current administration.

I'll advise you reciprocate her love.
Push yourself into loving her.
You just have to love her and go into a relationship with her.
That lady is a nice lady.
You must love and cherish her..
if after sometime you still cant love her though, you can then dump her.
But first, you must accept her proposal.

Alonso has tried his best in Chelsea shirt.

Honestly i didn't know the guy could be that good under Conte, i thought it was another Alonso not the one that played at Bolton.

Moses and Alonso played their best football for Chelsea under Conte.
the position that suites him is the flying wingback; bros cannot defend, both Moses and Alonso had Kante to cover for them. thats why u felt so

They should just drop that Uselesss KEPA for the remaining part of the season.

which of the goal was his fault o?
first one: Alonzo shouldn't have left Bernardo Silva
second goal: a good DM would have stopped aguero from shooting that ball, useless jorginho is a sitting duck in front of the defence, it was a perfect shot.
third goal: ball, shot from the spot once a again DM Jorginho
fourth one: what was Barkley thinking, nobody does back pass in that place and Luis shouldn't have nod the ball there in the first place, clear ball to the sides; even local player knows.

grin this is a lesson for the kids, if u r as stupid (moves kante away from DM and puts Jorginho that cannot defend to save his own life) or stubborn enough not to change it; you will get humiliated.

N.B Alonso has been underperforming since 5th week of EPL; I think it is high time people realise that these chelsea team as a whole is whack! they can't ball

Just a perfect example of how corruption and greed can ruin a nation. One reason i can never vote Atiku. He's one of those who corrputedly looted our nation and encouraged others to go to public office for their pockets. Buhari is not too good but Atiku is throwing our morality away

we must look beyond politics in a matter like dis, the president may be powerful and all sorts, but the issue at hand has no direct influence of the presidency

I agree. Like I said we must outmatch the enemies both in weaponry and intelligently

then how did epitome of efficiency and discipline like the Military turn to this? commanders stopped thinking about the gentlemen in the field. they put their children in strategic positions rather than allow Nigerians with passion and intellect to get there. how did a nation that gives military aid to other countries turned to this?

Hohoho.. You mean Iran that'll soon arm the Shiites? And Israel wetin? The problem is not to create cos once created it's very difficult to stop or undo! BH can never be stopped nor defeated, it's an ideology.

Al-Qaeda, Taliban was an ideology, when last did they struck in U.S, Europe? there have been so many ideologies sprutting up in different countries that have been crushed over time. Guerillas that was snuffed out. Incompetency of leadership of military and politicizing the war against terror brought Naija to this stage. ppl may have d idea in their head o and be running around quietly at nite to forment trouble but not what dis BH guys r doing, taking territories, sacking bases, ambush, kidnapping, beheading, even ISIS territories are been claimed back in Iraq, syria and other places where they don't even have stable military like Nigeria.

Were you in the battle? What weapon did Boko Haram have that the Nigerian army didn't have? Stop saying nonsense. Like they are armed, the boko haram is armed too.Only difference is that Boko haram soldiers are willing to die and as a national army, we must outmatch enemies not fight them one on one. also we must start fighting intelligently.

Bros am not picking fight with you o, but there av been times when soldiers on the frontline complain about equipment sha, atleast I know of a son of a Colonel who told me, he's dad said the tanks r old and slow, his rifle was make in the 60s, a.k 47.

and when u see images from operation Lafiya Dole, apart from Special Forces guys; do you see Nigeria Soldiers with Improved Rifle other than old Ak47&49, do u see night vision googles,
how many do you see with body armour?
some wear headwarmer instead of standard helmet.
do you see their body packs with grenades, magazine spaces, comms, flashbangs, smokes and other things?
let's not talk about sniper units.
Is the Artillery brigade able to cover all bases and Forward Operating Bases?
Are there drones for surveillance for small teams,
r Airforce elements strategically placed to attend to emergencies within 10mins?
Is the amphibian unit recently commissioned by COAS in this fight at all, or they just siphon money thru sending them on training?

so many questions that the Nigeria Military needs to answer. the ethos of the military is non-interference politically. thats it's sanctity but can Defense headquarter come to say that is the case?

may u and ur family meet a worse fate than what our gallant soldiers met. May u guys die in a horrible way, since everything, including the death of soldiers in the service to their country, now count as politics to u.
U are an Id.iot.

If I want to politicize this issue, I would rather say that APC in trying to increase military funding raise more funds for elections, engineered this massacre, wasted the lives of our soldiers so that the Senate can approve more funds for them to embezzle while they can at the same time blame PDP and accuse them of sponsoring boko haram in order to undermine buhari's government.
That will be my political take on the matter.
Unfortunately I can't even think straight, I am so pained that promising young men lost their lives for avoidable reasons.

Politics / Re: Question: Why Can't We Campaign For One Of These Younger Minds? by jtwest(m): 8:48am On Nov 19, 2018
LordAdam16:
Because they have no chance of winning. And this is not because of the candidates per se, but because of the current stage of our democracy. Our democracy is only 24 years old. As such, we can't have a Trump or Macron rise from obscurity, because we haven't tackled the basics.

We have not reformed campaign finance. In terms of policy, the economy, and most of our critical issues; the vast majority of our voting population is grossly uninformed or unable to engage. 80% of those who'd read both the Next Level and Atiku's Policy Plan will not understand up to 5% of it. Then there are the subtle but very real ethnic and religious bias that cloud the election process.

As a result, campaigning for any of these candidates is an exercise in futility as anyone doing so would be setting the cart before the horse.

Lastly, virtually all of those candidates are just as complicit as to the state we've found ourselves as any of the geriatric front runners for 2019.

* Donald Duke was a governor who performed averagely. His star project Tinapa is one of the most iconic white elephant projects of the last two decades. He is on record for sabotaging an elected government on the direction of the same powers that be.
* Madam Oby served under OBJ, like Atiku. She also sold us the scam in 2015. If Buhari had rewarded her like her BBOG co-founder Hadi, it is highly unlikely she'd be contesting for the Presidency. She's no different from Keyamo and the other anywhere-belle-face activists.
* Sowore also sold us the scam in 2015. And as late as 2017 was still selling the scam even when the illiterates in the village knew otherwise. He like Buhari has a narcissistic complex thinking he holds all the solutions. There's no one he hasn't derided forgetting as President, he'd would need to handle these forces with care and engage if he's to make any progress.
* Moghalu was a CBN deputy governor. Enough said.
* Durotoye also sold us the scam in 2015 and his campaign rips directly from the books of how our established politicians ply their trade. Bottom line, his candidacy does not hold as much promise as his high-sounding words may appear.

These our young aspirants are the Babangida, Abacha, and other young military officers during Nigeria's infancy. Pillars that have been part of the problem whitewashing themselves as saviors. My advice for them is to go local and change things. If the Presidency is the only way you can effect change, you need to take a chill pill.

Buhari was a military governor. Atiku won a governorship election. GEJ, Yar'Adua, and OBJ same thing. It is the height of arrogance to expect that because you run a newspaper, ran an activist campaign, or are young, then the nation's seat of power should be gifted to you.

-Lord

if only young minds all over this nation have this deep insight about Nigeria's Politics. kudos to you sir.

uhm as much as I am optimist, we have to admit this SE still has a long way to go. i'll give u reasons:

1. the midfield couldn't control the game, the effect that the likes of mikel, jayjay, ndidi has; to hold the ball and let players move into channels, ogu cannot, etebo is a runner, iwobi is ur diagonal and thru pass outlet. we need our pirlo.

2. Nacho cannot lead the lines for SE unless we learn to dominate and control the pace of the game. he needs to hold off defenders and shield the ball while wingers and iwobi joins in attack.

3. the defenders needs to learn to play ball and not gift possession to opponents. they also have to learn to track run from the deep.

4. there are notable absentees in this match but it seems SE doesn't have bench, who remembers the days when Utaka and kanu will come on and change the whole match?

5. rohr may be sound in man management but tactically his backroom staff are doing horrible job, when it comes to pitchside management, they can't identify issues and tweak the tactics to adjust it.

6. Am I the only one who doesn't know Nigeria's style of play? sometime it's counter, sometime it's possession football, sometime it's Everton style. Nigerian football fans deserve better.

7. After Victor moses's retirement, the attack has been a little blunt, threats from wide areas has dwindled, the only outlet is musa, almost looking like no one on the other side. backroom staffs should have identified this and fixed it.

8. Today SE played for draw, the got it, job done, congratulations. but someone needs to remind them that when we play countries like SA, Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, its not just about the points, scoreline matters; games like dis are national statement of superiority, u don't play for draws.

anyways congratulations, Afcon Cameroon is set*
