What is objectification? It means to treat someone as a mere object, indignifying him or her.

The feminine gender has from time immemorial being subjected to objectification by men, but this was never God's purpose for creating the woman.

These days it is becoming increasingly difficult to browse through social media without seeing women's delicate bodies displayed sensually like commodities in the market.

Everyday we see how cheaply these precious women are made to look just to excite men sexually.

Lust abounds immensely in social media these days and it's rapidly increasing📈 without an iota of abating.

But what's really saddening ☹️ is the fact that more and more women are generally depicted as sex symbols/kittens rather than intelligent/talented/emotional human beings by the social media.

Despite the numerous benefits of the internet, it has done much harm to image of the woman indeed. Due to negative influence of social media, women are desired mainly for sexual pleasure not their creativity or intelligence.

Lot freely offered his virgin daughters to the pleasure of a perverted mob.

We also see how Amnon objectified Tamar his half sister. While attempting to rape her, she pleaded with him not to act foolishly, but to reason with their father King David.

But Amnon refused to listen and after satisfying his lust, he drove her out harshly. (2 Samuel 13:11-19)

Like Amnon, lots of men objectify women in their hearts as mere pleasure outlets especially through the social media. (Matthew 5:28)

Sadly the love of money has taken over many women who don't mind advertising/selling their bodies nude/semi nude on the social media just to make ends meet.

These women agree to be objectified as long as they are compensated financially.

God purposely created woman as a helpmate to man. A woman is therefore a precious gift from God to man to help him fulfill his destiny on earth.

Therefore man is obligated by God to cherish and love her as his own flesh. (Ephesians 5:28)

It was because of the fall that women became unduly subjected to men, even sexually. But God originally made both men and women equal with no inferiority. (Genesis 3:16)

Contrary to what is seen on social media, a woman isn't created to be a play thing, She's a specially gifted priceless gem of God! (Proverbs 31:10-31)
