📖 Bible reading Genesis 27:1-41

We all know the story of Esau and Jacob.

Jacob with the help of his mother Rebekah, stole the blessings of his twin brother Esau.

As a result, what was meant to divinely benefit Esau went to Jacob.

However, this was in the plan of God who later changed the name of Jacob (cheat) to Israel (Prince with God).

Even though Esau later could muster 400 men to attack Jacob, his true destiny was hijacked by his twin brother.

The major problem of most people in the world today is that of stolen blessings. A lot of blessings are stolen on a regular basis and so many destinies have been hijacked.

This is why no matter how hard some struggle, they can't be very successful, rich and great.

How does the enemy steal blessings?

1. Through overeating. If you can't control your appetite like Esau, you will lose out a lot spiritually.

Overeating robs you of vital spiritual blessings.

Certain spiritual blessings can't be obtained unless through fasting, worship and prayers.


2. Through fornication. Esau was described as a fornicator because he put the temporary pleasure of eating ahead of his birthright. (Hebrews 12:16)

All fornicators unknowingly put their blessings on sale through few minutes of illicit sex.


3. Through bloodline witchcraft/wickedness.

Both Esau and Jacob, although identical blood brothers, wrestled with each other in their mother's womb. (Genesis 25:22)

Indeed our greatest battles in life comes from our households 🏠🏚️ especially at midnight 🕛.
