No need to stop d boats jst bring them in and deport them back to where they are coming from.....
I'll blame Europe partly for this.... The black man or politician who has no built no school in his community, or industry will come to your country open a bank account and deposit millions, and you won't question it, you'll collect the money and use it to boost your economy...
An African politician who builds substandard schools and hospitals at home often sends his own child abroad for education and travels to Europe for medical treatment, using public funds that could have developed his community.
Until Europe stops allowing corrupt African leaders to access healthcare, education, and security in their countries, these leaders will continue to deny such basic rights at home, and migration to Europe will keep increasing. |

Klass99: E be like say you never jam Abuja bolt & uber drivers. Dem no dey on AC ooo and they are not apologetic about it . This was one of the things I missed about Lagos bolt & uber drivers when I was in Abuja for a period of time for work.
The Lagos operators are more buisness minded and understand the importance of standing out because of competition. The Abuja operators don't have the same mindset they always picked me up without the AC on and used fuel as the reason for not turning on the AC.
I'm not one to make a fuss about AC so long as your car is not dirty or smelly and you get me to my destination in one piece. For the eight months I was in Abuja only one bolt driver ever came to pick me up with the AC on and left it on until we reached my destination.
I was so impressed with him I paid him extra at end of the trip and told him he was the first bolt driver to ever pick me up with his AC on. He laughed and said for as long as your car is on the road it must chop fuel. I might as well turn on my AC to enjoy the car and my ride as the fuel goes. I liked the guy's mindset and attitude sha. it's because Abuja bolt is different from Lagos bolt, if u see anyone doin bolt in Abuja dat person isn't making much profit, unlike lagos bolt drivers, in lagos, you can do two trips in a day and go home.... 5k trip in Abuja is 16k trip in lagos same distance...even without traffic... Then another issue is that the highest trip you can get in Abuja is airport trip which was 10k before, I don't know the price now.....so abeg pity Abuja bolt drivers most of them are struggling.... D ones making profit are d ones driving in the Night which is very risky |
Travel › Re: 9 Things Lagos Uber Drivers Will Tell You That Sound Like Jokes But Are Facts by Judolisco(m): 12:03pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
Offpoint1: I used Uber almost daily, either for trip or delivery. I've never experienced none of the above.
The only conversation I have with an Uber driver is their first confirmation calls and confirmation pick up questions "Are you Mr Offpoint?" "Cash or cashless" and no further conversation after that.
I always sat behind the driver's seat and I made zero eyes contact till I dropped.
Things that has become habitual to me:
1. I always rate my drivers/riders 5 stars.
2. If for whatever reasons I delayed them more than 5 minutes, I always tip them extra plus tons of apologies.
3. I tip them extra cash when there's traffic and the trip took longer than estimated.
4. I tip them if I'm going to locations I'm not familiar with and we had a little hassle locating my destination.
5. If I know the price shown on the app is lower than what it's expected of the distance, I will pay them extra.
6. If I have luggage I always inform them ahead.
If you get to my pick up point and there's unforseen circumstances I decided to cancel the trip, I'll compensate them with 30-50% of the trip cost I'm not interested in whatever vehicle they are driving, whether with AC or not, as long as it can get to my destination.
I respect genuine hustlers and I treat them with topmost respect.
When I read bad stories about drivers, I have the feelings that 98% of the escalation is always from the passengers and not Uber drivers/riders. Most of our Nigerian people tend to have this bossy altitude once they're paying you for something. you've said it all bro, your last point is d most important, people don't respect hustlers, that he is driving you doesn't make the driver inferior to you or you superior to him.... |

Napoli are lucky that Osimhem did not seek a unilateral dissolution of the contract in court after the public humiliation that their manager meted out to him
There is clearly a breakdown in relationship and that option has no realistic prospect of realization which manager? Conte had no issues with osimhen, osimhen already had problems with the club before they even hired conte |
