Thanks poster for posting.Information reaching me is that 2 indians with no papers were arrested by Nigerian immigration @ BUA premises but trust Naija immigration,they left the duo once money exchanged hands.No further questions asked.Too bad

one needs to travel outside nigeria to understand correctly why nigeria is not working.From experience ,these are my reasons:

Nigerian politicians like to take fetish oaths instead of selfless service.They also love to invest in insipid projects( U-17 World cup in a country that is unstable with a collapsed education system and generator driven economy,Bayelsa gov. building a multi billion naira castle,owambe party e.t.c)

Many states contribute little or nothing to the federation.

Many state Governors globletrot so as to enjoy the many amenities they chose not to provide in their home states.

Nigerians has all agreed to pay lipservice to education and the supply of energy(2 main heartbeat of any working system).

Nigerian pastors chose to invest in private jets and private universities instead of being the Elijah of our time

It is quite obvious that the evil that men do lives with them! see Alausa( quite dishounorable in this case ) saying that otunba forced him into taking an oath.My very candid conclusion is that this man was selected,bringing to fore another solid proof that 2007 election arranged by OBJ and umpired by IWU was childishly rigged!
My next bet is to see people like Gov. Oni of Ekiti whose selection seemed obvious to have a bigger d**k in his own release .

You seem to think you have the most understanding and i want to believe -the solution to this problem.Frankly, the aim of this poster is not to join issues with any 'junkie but to seek,and i repeat, to seek a true and lasting solution to this problem
My solution-since the Govt has failed and i mean you cant continue to folk a dead horse.
we the progressive nigerians(both at home and diaspora) should speak with one loud voice-"the DANGOTES,BUA and co should believe in the Nigeria of our time by investing in Nigerians.(truth of the matter-Give any Nigerian that opportunity and he will shine).
The Japan and the Asian tigers,even though encouraged by a people-driven-government,was made to work by the citizenry and not foreigners(indians in our case)
The conclusion is pure and simple---INDIANS MUST GO!!!!!

I dont know if all indigenious Nigerian firms train their expatriates(because expatriates are supposed to be experts and of a truth it should be the other way round).What you are about to read can be verified from any source in BUA
Lets picture BUA's flour mill,
they get their wheat from the United states.Now,because the U.S wants maximun usage of what they are giving to BUA.They say "give us 2 or 3 NIGERIANS that we can teach the modern techniques in flour milling to enable your firm maximise the way they use our wheat. The INDIANS (because they are at the helms of affairs) takes the whole slot.Is that what is obtainanble in North America where you stay? Should i blame the Nigerian Government for that?
Will such scenerio ever happen in india?
Are indians not using the advantage that Nigerian enterprenuers don't really care about patriotism when executing their money ventures?
To end our true story, When the Americans rejected the indian names.The indians argued that they have every right to be trainned in another man's land because they are transferring their own technology to Nigerians(i feel like throwing up at this juncture).
We all know that indians hoard knowledge like crazy and they will only transfer knowledge in hell.This indian malady should be treated as a national disaster because it has become a viral produce of our (un)employment system and will draw our frail nation another century backwards.If you think i am the only one raising dust on this issue i refer you to Alhaji Ibrahim's Danbaba's post in nigeriamasterweb.com and its attendant rejoinders.

Lets not drag the government into this.The govt has never helped issues concerning the citizenry.However, the fact that nigerian govt collapsed our educational system and made us certificate graduates doesn't mean we shouldn't take our destiny in our own hands.My case is clear and simple--indians cannot be trainned or struggle for trainning slots in a capacity strictly meant for nigerians.my reason?, Afetr trainning them they will hoard knowledge to protect their position and payments in dollars and afterwards scamper back to their country leaving my naija bros to pick up from where they left off (at this stage my naija bros is taking over with a hindsight).I know indians i have worked with them and they always think they are better educated and have every right to work as expatriates in naija whereas they will never offer you jobs in their own country not to talk of trainning you in their own capacity(Think about that).
We need to speak with one voice on this issue and it should start here.Else,if Bua and Dangote gets away with this malady,Nestle might begin to consider it,Mtn and even our nigerian banks might not want to be left out.Then what would we have in our hands?, your guess is as good as mine.

I am surprised how nigerians could have diverse "casual" views on an issue of such national concern.Even if i used "racial words" (apologies to tudor),that shouldn't undermine the seriousness of the issue in question.If i should take ikeyman's response as a yardstick wouldn't it be fair to say indians dont have any bussiness to be trainned in a 100% nigerian firm where nigerians could have benefitted from such venture.

BUA and Dangote are not helping Nigeria`s future and its most saddening when everybody fold their hands and pretend like everything is okay.how is it o.k when half baked and unqualified technicians and engineers are employed into this so called conglomerates as EXPATRIATES while our own are being treated as second class citizens.I even hear they now train expatraites in BUA!! Nigeria,we have to wake up! This country will rot if we fold our hands and do nothing about our future.The Brits have done theirs and got away with it.If we allow indians and other fourth grade races to be trainned in a country where qualified graduates hardly get jobs! Nature will not forgive us on the day of treckoning.By the way, will a nigerian ever be trainned in any capapcity in any firm in india?
