I think IBB now has cancer of the hand, after all he dipped his hand into the money that belongs to nigerians. so we can see that its what the hausa-fulani man is sowing that hes reaping!

Jim u've said much. I've always asked that question, what role does the north play in the development of Nigeria? the leaders loot, the people tied to religion and illiteracy. if the south can overcome its differences and shame the British who arranged this marriage, maybe things will fall into perspective. is it not obvious how southerners try to better themselves. lets say it as it is, the greed of the north corrupted the south. maradona ingrained that mentality so well, I fear Nigeria will not recover.

Nigeria is working. Very well working, only very slowly. I went to Nigeria after 4 years but I was suprise with the progress. The country is moving slowly and gradually.

Have you ever seen a typical mallam at the airport. they will call the woman selling groundnut, then they will call the other mallam who will do manicure, then they will call another mallam who is a shoe maker to shine his shoe that he wore with socks (clothing riot) and briefcase to match

before you know it one airforce officer maybe from the same state will show up and say alhaji long time. then soon maybe a hausa police man will show up and salute the airforce hausa. people will be thinking the mallam is some general or some big businessman. only to find out hes a trailer driver thats visiting his brother in lagos.

this is how hausa-fulani are using psychology all over nigeria to appear politically powerful
by doing psychological arrangement! meaning the whole thing was pre-planned at the airport or where ever this kind of thing takes place.

one needs to travel outside nigeria to understand correctly why nigeria is not working. From experience ,these are my reasons:

Nigerian politicians like to take fetish oaths instead of selfless service. They also love to invest in insipid projects( U-17 World cup in a country that is unstable with a collapsed education system and generator driven economy,Bayelsa gov. building a multi billion naira castle, owambe party e.t.c)

Many states contribute little or nothing to the federation.

Many state Governors globletrot so as to enjoy the many amenities they chose not to provide in their home states.

Nigerians has all agreed to pay lipservice to education and the supply of energy(2 main heartbeat of any working system).

Nigerian pastors chose to invest in private jets and private universities instead of being the Elijah of our time

Q.E.D
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 7:32pm On Jul 01, 2009
juicy-emma i agree

a govt leader should not rest until the citizenry who voted them in are enjoyign the same kind of food they eat at state house or white house etc they should not rest until the people enjoy the same knd of stable electricty they enjoy, or the same kind of police security they enjoy, enjoy the type of cars they enter etc

however because nigeria operates a mixed economic and political system i.e partly capitalist, partly nationalist and partly socialist its not possible for everybody to be equal. so it is a contious work in progress i.e democracy, politics and governance. meaning 50 years from now people will look back and say we have come a long way compared to time at independence.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 7:46pm On Jul 01, 2009
you see the hausa-fulani have made nigerians to become addicted to them. meaning that for some reason the typical nigeria will not relax if they dont hear that the head of state or president is not bearing a name like ibrahim mohammed or ahmed usman.

after they package a southern governor to look bad by stealing seriously from their own state, the state indigenes not only hate their governor but start hating and distrusting thier fellow indigenes. even though this is also happening in the north but not as much as its happening in the south.

in fact the hausa-fulani have made nigerians so addicted to them that,  somehow nigerians continously want to hear generic names like group captain zamani suleja as a governor or alhaji shaba sokoto as a minister or even a name like chief peter jos as presidential adviser or chief justice.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 7:56pm On Jul 01, 2009
this yar adua your seeing, he only behaves like he is a cool, fair and  likes southerners in the open.

but when hes in private with the likes or yayale and mukhtar and his fellow notherners, thats when you see the real tribalist in him.

even buba marwa its the same thing. what im trying to say is that hausa fulani think they are smart and simply just use and play on psychology i.e they think they can use peoples head or they think people are stupid not to know whats going on or what their up to.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 9:44pm On Jul 01, 2009
the hausa fulani they love women from the south , even thier women love men from the south, they love the food from the south, they love the resources from the south, even they love owambe now and even dress like southerners at such occasion etc

but for some reason they still continue to be tribalist.

Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 7:22pm On Jul 02, 2009
apparently the sadauna of sokoto ahmadu bello at the october 1 , 1960 handing over independence day ceremony said in his speech that the fulani war and jihad ended at ibadan, but that he would make sure he continued the war his fore father usman dan fodio started until he got to lagos.

from such a sppech you can see the open display of rudeness, pomposity, arrogance that the typical fulani and northeners display. small wonder why major kaduna nzeogu and his followers decided to stike via coup.

because the northerners didnt know much about academic soldering (partly because they resisted british education in favour of koranic education) this lead to majority of the top officers being southerners. at that time northerners mostly occupied the junior ranks . while the  middle belters occupied the middle level ranks

small wonder why yar aduas father became minister of lagos.

according to prof banjo whos brother was a cornel in the nigerian army as at time of aguyi ironsi. you need to read this mans story and what happend to him during abachas regime, even though his story appears to be a bit over bloated.  this mans story is a typical example of how not to appoach issues regarding marginalization and tribalism.

banjo and his brother who where a product of free govt education and training , only for him to turn around against the system. nobody was disturbing him , he would have ended up as a vice chouncellor and eventually a minister or something like that. why would someone whos brother helped to build nigeria and he himself had taught and educated so many nigerians , he was nation building without any problem or disturbance. then he now wanted to come and break up nigeria because of some northerners who where not disturbing him directly.

banjo was simply allowing himself to be used by some radical political elements i.e nadeco who wanted to take up arms because they had head thier fellow yorubas where being marginalized. somebody who is hearing of marginalization and somebody who is directly experiencing it are two different things.

nadeco used him and still now that there is politics and democracy they didnt even give him any post or appointment and he was one of the major forces in nadeco.

you see how the devil will use people to try and spoil their own country and end up giving them nothing, infact hes luck hes still alive.

why someone would want to take up another mans war is another silly thing. for example if ghana is having a war with benin republic , why would nigeria want to go and take the side of ghana, instead of being the peackeeper between the two of them. my .ko abiola was only an associate, & friend to the likes of banjo , he was not even a blood brother to banjo. so the littel banjo and nadeco members should have done leave it to God, condole abiolas family and petition the govt to investigae how he died or who killed him.it could have been susan rice, colin powell and co that came to see him. it could have been one of the soldiers on gaurd at the cell who might or might not have been a nigerian or cia undercover or something like that.

as long as hausa fulani is not disturbing you directly , then there should be no problem between them and any other  nigerian.

Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 7:44pm On Jul 02, 2009
However banjo had a few valid points and one is that , the blood letting that the huasa fulani where doing from time of independence, killing of ironsi, fajuyi and during the civil war up till time of abacha was like a country that was flaring gas resources i.e that nigerians that are even being killed till date in the niger delta are human resources. and that its no different from wating water at a tap, or gas flaring etc. that these reources should be conserved, developed  and fully utilized
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 11:02pm On Jul 09, 2009
IBB is what is known as a general demon commanding  1st nigerian demon division,

because hes a physical earthly representative , that is the principality (the highest demonic power in the land) through which various demons and spirtual cults keep nigeria under demonic oppression and domination.

in short IBB is still keeping demonic duty, demonic watch and demonic guard, and if he goes there will be a change of demonic guard, possibly to the likes of abdulsalami or gusau. via a demonic handing over and taking over ceremony.

you see the devil has his own version of a lot of things you know.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 4:30am On Jul 10, 2009
im sure IBB and co are reading this thread very well because i can tell you that a lot of the abuja big wigs: senators, ministers and even governors read this nairaland
, with that said:

let me exlain to them that homosexuality is a demonic trap : because as soon as the person gets aids, he/she will stay on those drugs and wil have to have a partner who also has the disease in most cases the partner will be of the same sex , so you see why its a demonic trap.

Reading from the posts, it is not hard to discern why the jungle called Nigeria is still a jungle. Nigeria is not a nation but a mere machination of convenience set up by colonial pigs. People have written loads of reasons why the geographical expression known as Nigeria is slumping in every phase of human endeavor. Only one or two maybe five posts stated the reason, ethnic bias. Tribal tensions baptized Nigeria at birth in 1960 and had continued to eat deep into the fabric of the country’s sensitivity.

The 1959 frowning at Ndigbo’s domination of Nigerian army officer’s cadre and lodging complaints to the British authorities by Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Tiv and Yoruba, the carpet-crossing in western region house of assembly, the 1964 frowning at the Ndigbo domination of academic circle by Yoruba, the uproar and backstabbing instigated by seemingly Ndigbo domination of civil service in 1960s, the Nigeria/Biafra civil war, lack of MMA or NAA size and type of airport or good network of roads in eastern Nigeria, the marginalization policies adopted by federal government of Nigeria, many nationalities within the confine of Nigeria and most people who called themselves Nigerians are deep throat sycophants and disgusting hypocrites.

Nigeria, as presently configured, will never amount to a piece of dirt. The only way forward is disintegration of the British colonial contraption.

dede your argument is respected, however in my opinion not feasible in practical sence

pls read this thread`of how the popular cornel nyiam explains how IBB simply used and is stillusing the fulani for his own gain by claiming to be thier boy, where as when theres problem he will abandon them.

I do not see us moving forward if some people that were in power over two decades ago are still holding political offices or their siblings are still there E.G Alh Rilwan lukmon and some few others.
Therefore Nigeria can only work if there is a bloody revolution.

Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by Dede1(m): 9:07pm On Jul 10, 2009
@JJam

Based on the dictionary explanations, Nigeria is not nation but a useless country.
Let us check out the following dictionary meanings of words, nation and country.

“Nation is a group of people sharing aspects of language, culture and/or ethnicity”. Based on this definition, the jungle called Nigeria is not a nation.

“Country is a nation-state, a political entity asserting ultimate authority over a geographical area”. This definition suggests that Nigeria is a country but a useless one indeed.

You must understand that the likes of IBB, Abacha, Buhari, Danjuma, Muhammad, Useni as well as many idiotic military officers from the northern region of Nigeria were the by-products of ethnically instigated nepotism that greeted Nigeria at birth and was spear-headed by Fulani, Hausa, Kanuri and Nupe.

The only thing patching the jungle together is cabal of wicked and diabolical suckers called politicians and fools in the uniform.

Pal, do not entertain the notion that disintegration of the jungle called Nigeria is not feasible. It is humanly feasible especially when guns start blazing.

@louchi,
i only want to remind or inform you that north is not the problem rather the south.
the south have sold their mind and heart.
abiola and obasanjo are not from the north rather the south.
abiola was part and parcel of all the coups that took place in nigeria and all these were in favour of the northerners. is it possible to eat your cake and still have them.
obj manipulated the 1979 election that saw shagari the northerner into power and manipulated the recent one that selected yar adua a northerner into power.
human beings are selfish by nature so if the northeners are selfish, it is not a crime. how far have the southerners gone in protecting themselves from the invaders.
the northerners have done a lot to put their house in order so let us not forget that.
who killed bola ige? funsho williams and other top southern politicians.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by Litmus: 9:05pm On Jul 11, 2009
Nigeria is working as well as any third world country and working far better than a great many of them.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 10:53pm On Jul 16, 2009
IBB really needs to stop deceiving himself, because he was actaully a houseboy to the yar adua family. it was after awhile that umarus father decided to adopt him. he was never a distant relative, however IBB claims he was.

There are various conflicting information (which IBB specialises in using the press to manipulate), on IBB's family background. one view is that he was born as a child to a prostitute who  could not cater for him and dropped him off at a provicial school that doubled as an orphanage.

another view is that his father was a civil servant who retired and became a farmer and his mother was the youngest of many wifes and his uncles who where teachers adopted him  and helped him thought school when his father passed awa. he claims that it was one of these uncles that was related to the yar adua family and that automatically made him also related to the yar adua famly.

the 3rd view is that his mother was a fulani woman from katsina or kano and father or grandfather (if he really had one) apprently was a fulani who was from kano area and settled in minna and blended in very well in those days there was no official border and notherners would travel and settle just about anywhere they felt espcially fulani.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 11:03pm On Jul 16, 2009
if he really is or was an adoted brother to umaru and shehu, he would have begged abacha to release shehu.
or he would have made agrrement that he would guarantee that shehu would leave the country on excile and would tell his supporters to stop being agianst the abacha administration or annulment of abiolas election.

its only just when obasanjo came in he started becoming close to umaru again.

this IBB is a man that the yar adua family took in treated like a son, fed him , clothed him etc and supported him when he joined the army using their already existing connections. only to virtually support and at the same time not support abacha for locking shehu up.
Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 11:09pm On Jul 16, 2009
as nyiam said in his interview article that ibrahim you know the poor misfortunate background you came from, and so why would you want other nigerians to continue in more deeper poverty.

nyiam continued by saying : being that he had the expereince of being a poor person he should have known that once he became a leader he should try to make things better, but he seemed to be bent on being vengeful. thats why i said IBB has a psychologial issue that stemed from certain lapses and parental figures that where not really there for him when he needed them the most in his formative years. this is why he developed a torturing/ wicked mentality against people.
