I’m sure u have cute malaria. E be like some of u think from ur anus. A tribunal handling a civil matter will order the arrest of a president who has immunity. Until the Supreme Court dismisses Tinubu he is still enjoys the immunity conferred on him due to his office.

The reason for 25% argument in fct is because you can't list fct as a state even though it is to be treated as one.
If the constitution had stated 25% in ⅔states and 25% in fct, it means you must have 25% from both.
If it states 25% in ⅔states or 25% in fct, it means only one, meaning one without 25% in other states but only fct can easily win the election which can't be the intent of the law.
Then we have, 25% in ⅔states and fct, this means having 25% from the two joined together

Zhe says you must score 25% in 2/3 of all the units that makes up that state. Go and look it up. Dont forget the state capital is the equivalent of the fct in the state..

Thanks for ur comment but section 179 of the state requirement to be met before someone can be declared the winner of a government election. S.2(b) is to the effect that the governor must win 2/3 of all Local Government area in the state. My argument is that the issue of 25percent win in state capital does not apply to governorship elections.

Rubbish talk. His appointment to go to India was already fixed before the PET fixed a date for today. So he should not perform his duty because of tribunal matter. If them pursue am while he’s in India, so be it.

If the law or constitution which ruled on the governor is ised to defend the president case, then apply your sense.. Just a logical question.. I would have enjoyed engaging u in an intelligent discussion but u have shown to be a very rude individual. Secondly, if u are conversant with the constitution, u will know that the issue of 25 percent does not apply to states. Thirdly, my humble interpretation of the section dealing with the issue of 25 percent is that Abuja does not hold a special status and a candidate shouldn’t be disqualified on the ground that he did not score 25 percent. Like I said earlier, I am inquisitive to know how the court will interpret that section of the constitution.

All issues would be thrown out as most of them are pre election matters. My only area of concern is the interpretation of the issue bothering on 25 percent in the FCT.

I don’t understand all the noise about the highly prestigious Justice Odili. First, she is retired so she’s at liberty to express her opinion concerning any legal matter unlike before where she had to be neutral.

Second, in the cause of her career, she had met with different lawyers of which she singled out these two amongst others as excellent lawyers.

So people should allow this woman to enjoy her life.
