If MEND or any of the militant groups cary out the threat or any of such anywhere in the country.
Can the Nigerian security system cope with such and handle such crises because they will have to
deal with the associated panic, chaos, breakdown of law and order, etc.
the point is that MEND even has the boldness to make such a threat shows the ineptitude of the security
agencies. I understand that there are challenges but please we have a higher expectation than what we are seeing.
Please permit me to refer to 9-11. We saw a system that face a new and dangerous kind of challenge but within 6 -12 months
they had routed a major operational base of the militants. Is there no intelligence in the SSS or military that can
enable them take tactical measures against these threats?

Personally, I feel we have more to loose as a nation if these small but potent group caries out a strike and I have no faith in the ability of the security agencies to foil or prevent such.

Hello nairalanders,

I tried the two lnb stuff last weekend and it was an intesting experience. it did not work from the left for me as suggested earliar on this tread but i got it on top. (pics atached) I was able to use the lower lnb to receive 22ºW and the upper lnb for 27.5ºW. I don't know what i did but when i was fidling with it I picked up HITV signal on the west intresting. i wish i can explain what happened. Dont mind the untidy job but I got good signal. would update this post to give detail of what i did.

the software comes in two part, the loader/driver and the software itself. I suspect you are taking it raw from a computer as a download. My advise is to collect it from a strong reciever via the usb flash. or take the decoder to the computer and use the cable to down load. We are walking round the clock to get a new hack on strong.
Meanwhile note that europian recievers are thrice expensive compare to asian ones like strong. Without the asians we would not know that digital video broadcast via satellite is this cheap.

My observations and Contributions: Though this thread is free, I notice that some of us do more of the work while others just breeze in and out,asking premium ques and disappearing.

I believe it is high time we move from theory to practical,as I have read about some fellas who installed their dish themselves-I also installed a 1.8m dish over the weekend for a guy-he paid me 3k-I used the money to buy my tools for dish installation-I am going part time pro.

Pole mount 1.8m dish goes for 8,500 to 9k,ground mount goes for8k. Srt4651x goes for 7,500,lnb700, diseq300

Yes I always recommend Pan dish as you called it. since you are in PH I recomend you use a 2.4 to 3m dish you will get everything on a good daY. THOS IS THE NUMBER OF THE GUY INWARRI 08023055983.

Patched, also, in this context connotes the fact that, the owners of the Irdeto2 software on the strong reciever has found a way to beat the hackers, who caused them to lose revenue,by modyfying the software, so that 6969 would be invalid.

Can any one tell me how to connect two lnbs on a dish facing west (Nilesat position for example) to also receive signal from another satelite in the east. Some one says it is possible, but I do not know how to hook up.

Bros, go back on this thread, you will find tips. I am also planning to put a video or a picture of my dish setup on this forum, so that you guys can have a practical description. What is your dish size? set you dish facing west-hang your ku lnb in the middile using the tripod attachment. Then,after connecting your coxial cable to the lnb,to the reciever, to the TV, then elevate your dish by11 to 13 cm horizontal, be watching the tv-if you are lucky, the decoder indicator turns green, then you lock the knob,
Correction please: MTV on nilesat is at freq 11.977 V.
Nollywood can also be gotten on Intel 801 satellite, positions beside the ku lnb capturing nilesat.
As at Friday night the Irdeto2 software has been patched-therefore the unlocked channels will go back locked

Breaking news! to those of u using nilesat I have down loaded MTV at freq 7.747V. They give hot english songs. Actual launch date of the channel is Nov the 17th.

Strong decoder in Kaduna SRT4653X latest in nija market is 7500N, those of you in the south dont buy more than 10K. Ku lnb is 800N each, dont buy more than 1k

No known code sir, they are encrpted with CAS system, not known to have been hacked yet. My advice is, depending on where u are living, u should get a 1.8m or 3m dish, then turn west hook up to nilesat and aenjoy somany FTA and hacked Irdeto2 platform using str4653x.Provided u know your way

Get a minimum 2.4 m dish, 2 ku lnb(s) and accessories, a strong decoder preferably srt4653x. U will get cnn, bbc, aljazeera,mbc action mbc2&4. Nollywood,stv, mbi international and so many more.

If your ques was wat stations on eutelsat3. Pls check my earlier post they are there. Though I do not like the 90cm dish, because of its limited size, therefore I do not know much of it.

With a little software manupulation then over a scrambled channal like sport3 or NAGE you will input 6969, then again 6969 ;Dgbam you are watching over a 100 premium channels.

Yaris your location is latitude 5.12 degN, Longitude 7.37 deg E.Therefore your dish elevation should be set at 83deg,while facing the west,polarization tilt is at 4.12 deg.
How ever as I promise my latest research reveals the following: with due respect to Enigma-u seem to be doing more of theoretical studies, just taking satellite locations from webpages.Try to be more practical.
Due to Beam deflection and absorption by the G pull of the enormous aquatic bodies in southern Nigeria, u guys will need a 3m dish-fibre or no fibre, to be able to enjoy completely all that we enjoy here in the North. Yaris take note u may be the first to enjoy this. Vicki I don't know if you guys in Lagos have access to 3 m dish-should not be too deep.
