[quote author=Slytiger post=130825739]Reverse psychology. They are the ones telling ibos to leave them alone and stop distorting their history, while the ibos are begging them for unity.
Video below shows them protesting in London in the 1960s for the ibos to leave them alone.

NLCreator: Britain's Labour Party leader Keir Starmer has come under fire for failing to publicly thank his Nigerian counterpart, Mr. Peter Obi, whose tweet of endorsement ended 14 years of right-wing conservative rule. This supernatural feat has left many scratching their heads, especially since Obi couldn't help himself win the 2023 Nigerian presidential election, though supporters blame election rigging. Where the twit
"This is sad. After all that Peter Obi has done for him, he couldn't even say 'thank you'," said an angry-looking Chukwudi, sipping a cup of garri in his 2-by-2 shop in Abia. "For 14 years, they couldn't achieve anything. It took Obi a single tweet to end the conservative run. But what did Obi get in return? Such an ungrateful fellow!" Chukwudi continued, as he updated his Twitter bio to "Expert at Installing Governments."
Meanwhile, local tomato hawker Chimamanda found the situation even more tragic for democracy. "I supported Starmer's Labour because Peter Obi instructed us to. I campaigned for the party with all my strength here in Awka. I gave away free tomatoes to the people of Anambra with Starmer's picture on them to show my support. Nothing says 'Vote Labour' like a juicy tomato with a British politician's face on it!. They won because of our support. The least they could do after emerging victorious was to appreciate our efforts and thank Peter Obi. But because we're black, they didn't find us worthy. Bunch of racist betrayers!"
However, some observers suggested that it might be too early to draw conclusions, speculating that Starmer could have thanked Obi privately. "Guys, I don't think it's right to conclude Obi was betrayed just yet," said Pastor Ogbu. "It's true Obi endorsed him publicly, and Starmer ought to appreciate and thank Obi publicly as well, but it's possible he already did that in private and Obi is fine with it. Obi hasn't even complained. Let's wait for instructions and avoid the temptation of premature conclusions," he added, while checking his phone for any new secret endorsement deals on Twitter.
In an unexpected twist, reports have emerged that supporters of North Korea's supreme leader, Kim Jong-un, are now wooing Peter Obi for an endorsement to help the dictator win his next "election." "We have seen the power of Obi's tweets," said a North Korean spokesperson. "If he can end 14 years of conservative rule in the UK with one tweet, imagine what he can do for our Supreme Leader. We are willing to pay him in nuclear warheads or unlimited bottles of Hero beer, whichever he prefers."
Whalis: I am Ikwerre. There is no historical tie between the ikwerres and Igbos. My grandma was from Umuahia and said Igbos have always been a distinct ethnic from Ikwerres. That they called us NDI Ikwerre. On the Bini connection it is hard for me to agree. But the closeness here is that the ikwerres have a lot in common with the Ekpeye. And the Ekpeye has a lot in common with the Binis. Now the Ekpeye claims they left Bini with the Iwhurnohna (Ikwerre) People. This is where the ikwerres keyed into the Benin narrative. The Ikwerres have always said they are not Igbos. Ikwerres had Ogbakor Ikwerre in 1963 to identify themselves as a distinct ethnic group even before Igbos remembered to form Ohaneze Ndigbo in 1965. Ikwerre gathered in 1965 to declare their unique identity in a communique released in Rumuomasi even years before the civil war.
to hell with ikwerre people,I never liked them, the should leave our language and culture and join their ancestors from benin

PressMyButton: Bitter Obidients.. you spend everyday of your life in bitterness, when you're too bitter, happiness will be far from you, both of them cannot walk together. The good thing is, your bitterness does not move a hair, you can only come online to cry, lie, wail and fabricate propaganda, it doesn't affect the country from moving forward.

He was reportedly taken to the mortuary but the attendant assessed his body and asked the people who brought him to take him to the hospital that there's still life in him.
Meanwhile, veteran actress Patience Ozokwor has confirmed to Oriental Times that the actor is now responsive.
Slaughtered with facts with no sources whatsoever? Let me take you down memory lane. The past governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa said 40% of the country’s gas deposits sits under the territory of Delta State.
Have you come across any Deltan on this forum making a fuss from that statement?
Your submission up there cannot haunt me cuz I’m armed with facts. For your information, I am in the value chain in this industry so go and tell that crap you wrote up there to the other unlettered folks of your ilk.
is okowa minister of petroleum? No let high blood pressure kill u because of Igbo matter
toneroforever: Truth be told,a lot of areas haven't had any improvement in power supply. This whole thing is seriously being exaggerated. So many bloggers are misinforming people just for content. Geometric Power has only turn on one turbine which generates 47MW. Aba's power demand is about 100-110 MW. So you can see that it's some parts that have a very big improvement in power while some areas don't.
no let that high blood pressure finish enjoy your lagos, aba is enjoying it 24hours light
justified007: Nigerians love deceiving themselves just to brag .
The news all over the state is that the plant is not really functioning yet and the electricity supply in the area is still as terrible as before but some people outside the state are busy gulping sugar over constant electricity for people still living in darkness.
As at this moment, there's still nothing like constant electricity anywhere in Abia state

chnnmfl: I have been to about 26 states and have seen over 30 cities and towns in Nigeria. I can safely state that Aba is unarguably the best planned city in Nigeria by the British colonialists most especially the city downtown areas. If there is any other better planned city in Nigeria, pls state it here so that I can learn and relearn.
I think the British town planners used the "Cartesian grid" system in designing the city. The arrangement of lands and the design of the road networks are top notch. There are multiple routes to any location. Once you enter Aba town areas, obverse how all the roads looked the same with regular intersections and also how every building are in a single file order.
Abuja town areas is good. IBB tried in Abuja but it can't rival this. I'm talking in terms of proper urban planning not fancy buildings or skyscrapers.
Kudos to the British planners. What the city needs now are regular maintenance of the drainage system and more infrastructural projects.
Oga there is nothing like Cartesian grid in TOWN PLANNING what you see there is super block Concept design in urban planning
