[quote author=Rudaiya post=58333149] Advertising a digital agency in LA in a Nigerian forum under a post that seeks to help other Nigerians shows your level of IQ an intelligence. And it tells me that your digital agency isn't so special otherwise, they would realize that this is the wrong form of customer acquisition. I'm here to help serious Nigerians who's already been through a lot with the recession. So do your best to delete your post or remain silent.

Business / 3 Online Tools That Help Increase Sales - You Should Be Using In Your Business by julic: 7:42pm On Aug 10, 2015
Do you send emails and attach your proposals as pdf documents? How do you know how much your prospects engage with proposals and other documents?

Have you been sending people your proposal only to not hear from them again? Puff! They downloaded your proposal and went ahead to implement the ideas on their own? You can minimize that risk.

1.) Use Attach.io It helps you see when the person reads your document, what page got their attention the most, you could choose if they download the document or not. Now you have control.

Have you ever come to that point where you've sent a mail and you got the panic attack; "did they open it, did they not open it, when will they reply, why is it taking so long."
2.) Use Sidekick It helps you track any mail you send and you'll get a notification when the person opens and clicks your mail.
If you want an invite to get sidekick, drop a comment.

3.) An optimized LinkedIn profile
You profile should be updated to help you
- Get found by prospects
- Engage your prospects
- Persuade your prospects that you're the right person for the business

I have 10 great tools in my arsenal and they've been instrumental in helping through the sales process, manage communication, attract prospects, and more. Ultimately it makes the art of making money really easy.

You can get access to all these tools in the “Complete Guide to Sales Tools That Drive Revenue” free guide. You can get it at www.marketingkisspr.com/salestools

If you need help with increasing your sales and finishing 2015 strong, schedule a time to discuss your business needs

Business / Re: Ask Me Anything (AMA) - On how to grow your biz online PLUS Free Website Review by julic: 1:10pm On Jun 09, 2015
Hi thanks for the question.
When you decide to choose a profitable niche to write within.

These are some of the steps to take to validate if the idea
would sell, scale or even makes sense.
If people are interested in it and if someone is already doing something
within that niche and how they are positioning themselves, which will
help you differentiate yourself.

I usually will start with checking the keywords with Google keyword search tool.
It's found in the adwords account under tools. With your
gmail account, you can access adwords.
Punch in relevant keywords and see the number of monthly searches.
I also measure monthly searches for like 3 years back to just see how the
interest is growing or shrinking.
Google trends tool is also a good one.

Also, continue your research in Amazon kindle, this will also help you
see the top performing books in that genre, how it's titled etc.
You can also run research in udemy, clickbank. It doesn't matter
if you don't intend to sell in those markets. You just want understand
if there is some interest in writing that book, and how the public receives it.

I could send you a mail later with some more info.
Hope this helps. Thanks.

Religion / Re: What Are Benefits Of Being A Member Of The AMORC? by julic: 6:30pm On Mar 29, 2015
When you come to the point when you feel insatiable with religion,
it's your purpose in God that's trying to have a meaning.

It's yearning for a relationship with it's maker.
You may never know, you can never tell,
you may be feeling that no church sermon really gets it
or gets you.

I know that feeling as every once in a while in a human's life
you come to that point where you want to connect the dots of
existence and all this rat race and what the real meaning of life really means.

If you're experiencing that nudging.
Walk more in intimate fellowship with God.
Nothing like personal study in times like this.
Then ask the Holyspirit to teach you those things you don't see.
I promise you will marvel at the things the Lord will reveal to you
about your life. This is not about seeing prophecy for others.
It's you and Him.

This is how many receive huge visions from the God.

This is the way I feel I can help you shed more light and
direction in that moment.

I have a podcast series that can further help you.
You can find it at www.calledoutforpurpose.com

The website is still in its works so....
But you will definitely find some episodes that will help you.
Take care.

Nairaland / General / It's Not All Gloomy - "Headline: Mass Sacking Looms In Private - Public Sectors by julic: 3:52pm On Mar 13, 2015
This post was necessitated because of the various News
and comments I have read in the couple of days.

Headline: Mass sacking looms in private - public sectors

these headlines have been carried by Nigerian major
newspapers online and it seems like the only comment
we Nigerians have on those pages are that of gloom,
politics and despair.

But do you know there is always an advantage
in any given disadvantage. The oil price crash
may not be a bad thing. It could be a blessing in
disguise to you as an individual.

Am not just speaking positively but hear me.
Every once in a while in any country's history, there
would come a time for seemingly lack and economic
recession.

The Americans can tell you the story of the great
Depression. When many lost their homes and Jobs.
These things happen and Nigeria as a player in the world
economy cannot be shielded from what goes on.

Don't get carried away with politicizing this issues.
Yes the govt should do more but we know in rich economies
they have the poor too.

The greater question to ask is how can I make this an
advantage.

If you have a job: what's your advantage in that Job and
how well are you projecting that advantage.

Am not talking about your CV or your masters degree
am talking about your thought leadership projected
in such a way that you are not scared of downsizing
rather what happens is you become hot cake
for recruiters.
Because you're doing the right things with your expertise
spreading your footprint across the digital space
in areas where it matter.

I know this because I employ people in my three businesses
and I see how Nigerian employees are not maximizing this
and I shake my head.
it's not just about coming to blogs and forums to
comment.
What are you doing to separate yourself from
the next guy. such that you're seen as one who
demonstrate thought leadership, it will come a time
you wont even be able to work for a single company
but become a consultant in your area of expertise.

Okay let me ask this for any individual:
do you have a LinkedIn profile?
How exactly are you projecting yourself with it.

Is it a forgotten island? or you share just about
anything that catches your fancy?

What does your social branding tell about you.
When recruiters Google your name, what do they find?
Will that help in convincing them that you are the
right man/woman for the job?

Do you have a wiki?
Do you demonstrate all those high sounding jargons in your
CV in strategic places both online and offline?

Com'on, if you are still using the traditional old way
of landing a job, "Behind your CV and Submit"
then you need to wake up.

If companies downsize, it means they keep only the
best. "How are you showing that you're the best?"

We live in a world of show and not tell.
It's no more about what your CV and referrals say about you.
It's what Google says about you.
It's what LinkedIn Validates about you. It's what your social
brand and online reputation and footprint testifies about you.

You can know the job but if you don't show it, how am I
supposed to believe or be convinced.

I hire people and I can tell you I wish they knew this.
As an entrepreneur I don't check CV's not until I've
have passed the candidate through various stages because
sometimes we know so many people don't write their CV's
themselves.

My dear friends, I have so much to really share...
but this post has become longer than I thought.

Having a functional Govt is good but it's not 100% everything

Stuff happens that can topple a Govt economy and the
best defense mechanism is to know what you want
and pursue that goal until success and that's taking
your destiny in your hands.

It doesn't matter who wins the election, that man has
serious issues to tackle. But it may or may not affect you.
Look beyond politics pls.

Maybe in subsequent posts I could still write more on
opportunities and advantages this has opened up for
Nigerians. these are stuff
you need to be doing now if you are on a job, or
you are looking for a better one
If you have a business too? oh how important it is for you
to prepare ahead.
