Got refusal mail after 6 months of waiting as I applied through paper route on the 1st of July...now I have closure and my mind has come down. On to the next one as I move on with my life in 2017. Disappointment is part of life so is success. I am forging ahead as I get my passport back. Good luck everyone

@teddybear20 pls take patient and be hopeful, it's not easy but you have to try coz that's what I am doing too as I submitted my application on July 1st and till now I have not been called for medical, it's 6 months of waiting but let's be hopeful on God.

You still have to be patient and hopefully they will get to you about further instructions. Timing for medical request varies and are randomly done after review of application following submission and this is really not dependent on when you submitted.Cic will always reach you and instruct you when they need you to undergo one. Nobody here can tell you when you will get the request. So keep being hopeful it come sooner and your application approval follows afterwards.

Your cic account will naturally display the date you linked your application online as your submission date... which is just the way the platform is built to run... @Mikymiko earlier said... It is just normal and you cannot effect any change on it.

@mikymiko pls I want to confirm, as I jus linked the paper to online and it's showing that I submitted today but I applied since July. Hope it won't start reading that I jus applied today or it will still be counting from July.

And what can I do to change the date of submission to July date instead of this December date.

Yessssso....it finally went through as I added my middle name as u instructed. Thaank you very much, but now it is saying I submitted my application today instead of July 4th 2016, as my application is now 24 weeks and no medical call yet...so sad and depressing
