My dear nairalanders and health practitioners in the house, a close one of mine abroad have been complaining about serious pains on his waist since last year in which the waist have also been swelling up. He have went to various government hospitals over there abroad and all they do is to always give him appointment for a long time to come back and when he goes back, they will tell him that they can't treat him and direct him to another hospital and when he gets to the new hospital they will also do the same thing.

A nurse in one of the hospital told him it's lumbar disorder and sciatic pain after examining him but said she can't do anything about it and directed him to another hospital, but when he got to the hospital they also couldn't do anything. Mind you, the language barrier over there is also a big issue for him and the health practitioners over there.

My dear nairalanders and health practitioners in the house, please, is there any drug one can get to help treat this lumbar disorder and sciatic pain? Even if it's to get it here in Nigeria and send it to him, that wouldn't be an issue.

The man dey try abeg ...i can recall that some months ago, he told all his beneficiaries to relocate to specific African countries for their scholarships to be maintained because he could no longer afford the high foreign exchange rates.....he was of the opinion that money used to sponsor 2 people outside Africa can be used for more than 10 people in Standard African schools ...so why waste resources when a lot more less privileged people can benefit

Exactly, our govt pays between 240 to 300 naira for subsidy per litre, sometimes a little more
