This happened yesterday in Uyo, at Ibiam street. @ about 5:00 early hours of the day.
The young man stole a 58 inches plasma television from a viewing center and was caught in the act while some of his gang members took to their heel.
His hand was chopped off, and he was beaten thoroughly by some angry youths who said the crime rate in the locality was too much… they’ve being stealing flatroon television from the owner of the place.

According to the police, they disclosed that the doctor is in the habit of taking undue advantage of his female patients who come to him for treatment to sexually abuse them. Nwachuckwu confessed to have had sexual affairs with some of his female patients.” They added he confessed the patients were those who came “for treatment or consultation in his office and other locations .”
The FCT police spokesman Manzah Anjuguri, further added that the doctor have used drugs to induce the women in order to have intercourse with them and warned the public to ensure they carry out thorough background check on the credibility of doctors they engages as personal or family physician.
According to Daily Trust, a source revealed that Nwachukwu’s trouble started among families he helped conceive at his Life Point Medical Centre, Utako Abuja as suspicions arose after a child was born to one of the female patients went through a test that showed the child was not fathered by the patient’s husband.
Nwachukwu is not known to have any complaint of unethical conduct against him at the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. His gynaecologist colleagues question his being detained since early August.
“This is all just to taint his image and the medical professional,” a fellow gynaecologist said in Nwachukwu’s defense.

A middle-aged woman was caught stealing from another customer in a Kenyan bank…
The woman who was eventually paraded on the streets of Ruiru town in Kenya, had reportedly stolen 5,000 Kenyan Shillings (N15,000) from a customer at the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).
After she was caught stealing the cash from the customer’s bag through the CCTV camera, a makeshift placard which had the inscription “I am a thief. Mimi ni mwizi.” was placed on her in order to shame her for her actions.
The bank’s operations manager confirmed the incident, adding that the woman was arrested and is currently being held at the Ruiru police station.

These are the deadly armed robbers who have been terrorizing Enugu residents arrested by the police.
There was panic around Bisalla Road as deadly armed robbers attacked residents of the area in Enugu. But, their luck ran out as the hoodlums were engaged in a serious shootout with security operatives who arrived the scene almost immediately.
The fierce gun battle which lasted for hours saw one of the robbers fatally shot as the security agents over powered the criminals and arrested him.

Body of a newborn baby was found face-down in a forest next to a canal in Thailand. According to the police and paramedics at the crime scene, the baby was found without arms and legs and is believed to have been dead for about three days.

A man has shocked people with his unbelievable act of pedophilia after he was found out to have r*ped a little girl.
The man identified as one Malami Yusuf, has been arraigned in court.
The 31-year-old man was arraigned in Lagos on Tuesday before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly luring an 11-year-old girl to a market place and defiling her here.
He was however granted N500,000 bail.
The Senior Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaiya, also asked the accused to produce two sureties as part of the bail condition.
Adekomaiya said the sureties must be gainfully employed and should show evidence of two years tax payment to the Lagos State Government.
Yusuf, who has no fixed address , had pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge bordering on defilement and S3xual assault

PM News is reporting that the prices of food items have crashed in Hadejia, Jigawa state.
Quoting News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), PM News reports that the crash in food price is as a result of ‘a significant increase in the supply of agricultural produce to the market’.
According to investigations by NAN on Tuesday at Hadejia market, food prices were down by about 30 percent. Now, a bag of millet goes for N14, 000 as against N18, 000 while a bag of paddy rice went for N8, 500 as against its previous price of N11, 000.

A rap star has been detained in Malaysia on blasphemy charges after allegedly insulting Islam in his latest music video.
Namewee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, was arrested at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport where he was returning from overseas, the Bernama agency said.
The word ‘Allah’ and sounds of the Islamic call to prayer were said to be used in the four-minute Mandarin music video, titled ‘Oh My God.’

Gateman stabs 50-year-old woman in her home
On Saturday, August 20, a 50-year-old woman

was stabbed to death at her home at House J68B, Close 9, VGC, Ajah Lagos.

According to the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Dolapo Badmos who confirmed the incident, she disclosed that the woman, whose identity is being concealed, was stabbed on her stomach in the early hours of the day and was found dead in a pool blood.
