Till next year make my word because NPS are by the corner uptill now the have not published successful applicants for documentation and training to the camp since April 2018 and we in the month of June 2019 hopefully ending of the month the list will be out talk more about custom that just recruited for this few months ago to be shortlisted successful applicants for screening and examination

Everything is about 84k or so... While other paramilitary like NIS, FRSC, civil defense and others is 100k plus... Police is even more sef... Speaking about revenue generating agencies like them FIRS, which their pay is over 200k with other allowances.. seriously, NCS pay isn't okay.. considering the nature of the job.

Their pay is more than 84k, I have someone who was employed in 2011 and 96k was the salary on his appointment letter. Guess it should be more than that now. Pls y'all should stop misleading pple

@emmieachichi is a little but not entirely right. Support staff in the NCS are junior personnel who do not perform operational roles. They perform assigned duties, most of their roles and activities are based on directives. Some support staff however function in sensitive departments like Accounts, Medicals etc. And from what I heard, support staff do get posted to all commands including border posts. They sometimes serve as domestic aides to the senior officers from the rank of Ara Controller and above. It also appears they are limited in terms of ranking, seems they don't rise beyond level 13 or so. @Jumoke support staff in the NCS are permanent staff, and the news about them been maltreated depends on the nature of the superior officers they function under. I know support staff who made it in the Service because they are in good hands in terms of superiors.

Considering the fact that in the 2011 recruitment successful guys were contacted in a months' time (the test being paper based), don't you guys think they will contact us in less than that time? Please those with useful info and if possible that Joseph the dreamer (though I feel he is an insider and not a dreamer) should give us hint on when to expect success mails. That's all I am interested in right now.

FRSC closed site for application 28th March, 2018. shortlist was done in November. So NCS can also stretch till December. Na there way. Only those that has connections or bought slot ll make the list.

you're misinformed, FRSC opened their portal May and closed the portal in July and shortlisted in September, I followed the thread to the last page here on nairaland tho I didn't apply cos I was still serving, stop saying nonsense. Shortlisting will be out latest next month

I had a 2'1 in Mathematics from FUTA. Going by this thread, I've not seen anyone that can match me in this test speaking of which most of the answers the math guru in this thread are posting. Perhaps the recruiter knew I was going to break the record of having the highest score in this test, that is why they never shortlist me. I am better than Most first class graduates, None can par with me. i will move on to better things anyways

you should learn to humble yourself, you're not the only 2:1 mathematics graduate, you should start praying for grace cos even after everything you've bragged about, you still didn't get shortlisted then you need to pray for grace, I'm sure there will be a 2:2 mathematics graduate that was shortlisted without having any godfather. Humble thyself so that God can uplift you

These are the people that will assist in the training process not necessarily Customs officer, can be from other agencies appointed just to facilitate in the training exercise just like having Soldiers in NYSC camp ground that does not make them corpers.
