Paperwhite:masari and mattawale needs to be flogged. those criminal governors are the ones behind these banditry. when those bandits saw that negotiation wasn not going to happen+ improved military presence, they released those boys. now they've kidnapped another set again in katsina yesterday evening. and the useless set of governors would be thinking about negotiation?? negotiation my foot. criminal elements in government. |
enough is enough. do not negotiatite with bandits I repeat do not negotiatite with them again for whatever reason. .enter a full blown war with those guys.. niggas has taken this country for granted completely. |
omenka:those ipob pdp apologist are very shameless and less objective.. their life is all about buhari and tinubu. |
Racoon:katsina and zamfara governor using it's people to play chess. it's obvious they needed money hence the first kidnap issue. probably there were too much pressure from both foreign and local bodies they had to release those boys without negotiations. seems the president has left and they've organised another which would raise more concern and less pressure. I never trusted those governors the moment they were happily taking negotiations as an alternative. |
Facidio:everything isn't about politics and opposition. let's learn to look forwards. I said scrap subsidy and use the money to improve salaries.. tomorrow your party choice might be in power and would love to take productive step, it won't make sense if I oppose it too. I'm a regular Nigerian like you, not a politician or working for politicians rather.. |
femi4:thank you brother for this. us with the largest refineries in the world still sell for over #234 per litre. the average crude oil price in the world is about #430 per litre. let's face it, fuel ain't a cheap commodity as Nigeria are being made to understand.. my point is, instead of budgeting over $2.5 billion annually for subsidy, that money should be used to increase salaries so people can afford fuel at an unsubsidized rate. that way we won't be wasting our resources to illegal fuel smugglers to other neighboring countries.. $2.5 billion ain't child play. when dasuki looted that amount, many people chop ooo . |
LogoDesignerzz:those countries aren't that much better in terms of lifestyle compared to Nigeria. besides only Chad has a higher min wage. my suggestion is that govt should use subsidy money to increase workers salaries instead of subsidizing fuel for Nigeria and it's neighboring countries. |
ehinmowo:that's the point. Ecowas is feeding fat on Nigeria fuel. I was born in lagos(badagry to be precise) left there 2010. though I was much younger. just yesterday I was telling my dad about how Nigeria is loosing heavily to fuel subsidy and he opened up to me that I was much younger when we were in badagry, otherwise I would have experienced first hand the massive fuel exportation going on to benin republic. note badagry boders benin republic. |
ednut1:you have a point here brother. the govt haven't really been transparent, so it's normal if we don't trust them but however in this subsidy situation, I think it's only normal if we start rethinking our decision. |
rexlims:Saudi has better min wage. 300k. however we can't compare ourselves with saudi cos saudi is one of the world richest country. cameroon min wage is: #25000 chad min wage is: #41000 benin republic is: #28000 I don't have detailed report on their transport system. I await your reply as per my post. thank you.. |
persius555:transport cost don finish the money nah. besides it's illegal to import subsidized fuel from any country. also the price won't change even if we start refining. |
tobechi74:ignorance is an excuse bro. I must admit I did crucify jonathan way back in 2011 for even is partial subsidy removal. ignorance was what made me do so. now I know just how much we are loosing to fuel subsidy and I'll rather the govt uses that money to increase salaries instead so people can afford those fuel products at the normal price. that way smuggling would reduce. |
CodeTemplar:you think refining oil products to fuel is cheap?? check again. saudi produces 5times what nigeria produce in oil, they have lesser population (33.7m) compared to Nigeria. price of fuel per litre is subsidized to about #150. now they have lesser boder leakages, their neighboring countries apart from Jordan sells at about same rate or close to. so I repeat check again.. |
BabaOwen:saudi produces *5 the amount of oil we produce and yet a lite of fuel in saudi is 1.55 riyal (#156). now saudi have less security issues of fuel smuggling because all neighboring saudi countries apart from Jordan sells fuel for less than #200. so you see why the money for subsidy needs to be moved elsewhere. |
CodeTemplar:you can blame them for fake promise and plan ahead or rather accept failure and keep yelling. I read an old post of a girl's conversation with sanusi way back in 2011. during jonathan subsidy removal chaos. even then the govt knew they were in a catch22 situation ( trying to do the right thing and at same time satisfy the people) bro it's been a pending issue. the govt better use that money to increase workers salary instead of subsidizing fuel for west africa and corrupt NNPC staffs. |
was going through an old post of a girl's conversation with sanusi. the them cbn governor gave his stance on fuel subsidy and why it needed to be abolished. https://www.nairaland.com/840702/email-conversation-sanusi-fuel-subsidy saudi is having less leakages of their subsidized fuel today because virtually every neighbouring countries to saudi sells fuel at a similar price. meaning there's lesser case of smuggling going on there. |
Nigeria budgets over 30billion dollar of which $2.3billion about 8% of this funds is spent on subsidy. does it makes sense to us loosing such amount of money? when such funds can be used to improve the standard of living rather. |
Nigeria is loosing too much to fuel subsidy. Benin republic: 505cfa per litre (#357) source: https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/Benin/gasoline_prices/ cameron: 630xaf per litre (#447) source: https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/Cameroon/gasoline_prices/ chad: 518xaf per litre (#367) source: https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/Chad/gasoline_prices/ tell me why subsidy should not be scrapped and the money used for better things?? t neighbouring countries are making good fortunes from our head.. |
I've stayed both sides. shoe gather packagers and pretenders..they are rich buy not rich from the scratch. them don hustle rich come dey live rich man life. abuja on the other hand are born rich..I mean reaaalll rich.. |
sapphiere:uve been active on all tread related to this guy, na you them rape?? and besides, how do you draw conclusion from allegations? the doctor vindicated himself from that singer and now you want us to just believe another fellow accuser abi?? women are joking with this raoe thing sef. |
dunno why but this sounds funny
obviously people were happy with the kidnap and are now dissapointed. |
OOzz:too many children from south having access to media displaying childishness. see the childish comment u made. gone are the days when we had positive political opposition and critics from the south. today na children everywhere. |
rusher14:yea I did less in exonerating elrufai and ganduje also.. am even glad you called me pro PDP cos in reality I'm not. I'm better termed pro APC.. |
mattawale and masari has alot to answer with their romance with banditry. from records, negotiating with terrorist has never proffered solution rather it bolden's them. from his speech, this guy has proven to the world that they have accepted those bandits who aren't even using sophisticated weapon as bokoharam as stronger than the military. Niger and Chad aren't strong enough to go to war with Nigeria talk more of bandits that you have to accept defeat from them?? believe me zamfara and katsina state governor has a lot to answer if it's true they negotiated with terrorist and didn't go to war with them rather. brace up northerners, katsina and zamfara has compromised completely, learn to hold your governors accountable so it won't reach your state. buhari led FG has been handicapped and are proving to be more useless by the day. we can't continue like this.. |
mike8804:may God help us, and by sponsoring banditry who can Inturn inflict pains on you in the future is your way to cash out?? Nigeria is in one derp shit.. until foreign countries stop helping us via aids and cash, na then their eyes go clear |
PopSmoke:who do you refer to as midget?? |
rusher14:watin bring pdp and apc come here? please learn to put aside politics and ethnicity when trying to be productive. mattawale is PdP and he's on the list. until you brought pdp and apc stuff, I never put it into consideration when making my analysis. lalasticlala mynd44 please help push to wider audience. |
well it's obvious some governors are sponsoring banditry. just today APC blamed a governors in northwest of aiding it, Arrewa on the other hand said two governors and not just 1. who could be those governor?? 1, kaduna - El-rufai: while we don't really know the heart of a man, I think elrufai shouldn't be in our list of suspect. I've had close encounter with this man way back in 2006. elrufai has always been an intelligent elite with positive track record. he's cunning in nature and same time very much result oriented. in 2015 when elrufai assumed office, he immediately banned almajari begging in kaduna until massive pressure came in which made him compromise. 2020 opportunity came again through covid-19 and the governor was quick to spearhead the war against almajari. note: almajari are majorly the ones bredded into banditry and terrorism In the north.. 2, kano: Umar Ganduje: while I have no encounter with this man, I can't help but admit this governor seems to be a reputable governor. ganduje seems to be a religion extremist and an hyper loyal servant to his master. (dude was loyal to kwankwaso as deputy and is still loyal to buhari today). ganduje extremist nature makes him a suspect but not enough to conclude as he's surrounded by open minded individual who wouldn't hesitate to publicly call him out if his hand is foiled.. 3, katsina: masari, if anybody is going to be number 1 on my suspect list, it would be this guy. these guy has little or no problem negotiating with those bandits, despite being the president state, masari takes very little military actions against bandits. the moment he said they are already in communication with those bandits, I smelt foul play, I think these man should top the list of suspected governors. kano is peacefull but katsina is in chaos, zaria in kaduna is also peacefull, jigawa is also peacefull. all this regions are bodering katsina state yet they enjoy peace. why katsina?? only in katsina bandits move around freely with their weapons and you say the governor isn't a suspect?? I might be wrong though but all fingers are pointing towards masari. 4, zamfara state: mattawale. I don't know why but I feel this man isn't really a suspect.. yes banditry in his state is as much as that in katsina state. but the governor seems to be more tactical in his approach. I remember when he was compensating bandits with cows instead of money. but I'm not completely filling him off from being a suspect though.. for bandits to move kankara boys from katsina to zamfara effortlessly tell alot about the political compromise of both state governors |
masari didnt cash out on this one.. |
tinubu is not the best of individual though.
but consider today's nigeria political space.
tinubu is a legend amongst men.. |
miyetti Allah should be proved..
the way that man was do unhappy when Yoruba created amotekun goes to show alot.. |
