first of all any form of addiction we all know is dangerous and marijuana we know is very addictive.
every smokers starts from being secretive until they become addicted and lose the value of their public reputation.
well I got interested in weed back then early 2019 when my cousin brother started behaving abnormal due to weed. guy man was very secretive about it and like many new smokers thought they were too smart until things got out of hand.
I made a lot of research about weed and to my surprise, you hardly find any report saying weed causes brain damage. while few reports tend to contradicts it, it still has some loopholes like claiming it only affects the brain only when taken from adolescent age..
well the result in the society doesn't proof so. weed smokers would tell you those who ran mad took more than weed. well in most cases it's true but however there are some contradictions to it.
I've spent time with weed smokers trying to know why they take it and how it feels..
on two occasions I've tried it, to be honest I knew weed wasn't my thing I never really liked it despite the fact that I enjoyed my sleep that day after taking it.

He traveled home for Christmas and joined some boys to taste it. He said he took like 5 draws but it only happened once. He said he felt like running mad but was asked to take garri after which he slept off. However after 3days of the incidence till now he's been having all manner of symptoms like palpitations, sweating, chest pain, panic attack, acute weakness, lack of sleep, itching in the head etc. Before we knew the cause, we were worried, took him to several hospitals and even for prayers before someone that knew what happened hinted it to me. the above post was from a lamenting nairalander whose brother is having psychological disorder. the guy for sure ain't happy about his brother development. this is just the case of an innocent boy who wanted to experiment and hes now causing the family pain.
in the comment section, somebody said it comes and go only because it's relatively works with cash at hand. when there's cash, he goes to smoke when no cash, he's sober and behaves normal. I'm certain readers who have people with psychological disorder in their house can attest to this cause it's same situation in my house..

That night we slept in our house in my room together. at around 12am he woke me and told me(authoritatively) to relocate to the other room that he wants to pray.
I heeded to him not to provoke him after some few hours he called me again with high command ordering me to come which I did, he said I should stand still where I am and that I should tell him what time it was. I was trying to approximate the time and tell him he said that I should go back and check my phone which I did considering his situation.
he then said I should set alarm at 5:20 am so he can wake to subhi prayee(morning prayer), which I did.
after about every 30min till daybreak, he just walks in to my room to check time till that 5:20 when my alarm rang which he then woke the whole family for prayer.

the above post is my own experience in the hands of my brother.
this is one major reason many chronic weed smokers tend to find it difficult to sleep.
smoking weed no doubt makes sleep enjoyable.
I believe we all know that when u use something to support yourself in taking a natural action, your body automatically becomes lazy and adapt to it.
now I've noticed in my cause of research that most weed smokers find it difficult to sleep at night without smoking. I believe many concrete smokers can confirm this. the reason is clear. weeds aids sleep and lack of it causes difficulty in sleeping the moment the body gets used to it.

Bonus: during my cause of studying weed, I stayed off campus with some student. not because I wanted to although but because hostel was yet to open as at that time. myself and some guys majority weed smokers jam-packed ourselves off-campus sharing just two rooms that was over occupied as at then.. we were 13 in Numbers back then. only 3 of us don't smoke.
earlier last year, we got a report that 1 of those guys is in rehab.
it's was becoming obvious in most of those guys that they would end that way.
just like many amateur he was a chronic defender of weed claiming it was medicinal and that only the addiction is bad. today he's in rehab.
I'm sure he never taught of it this way.
there a good chance other like him might follow suit pending the situation I left them were all similar..

please I urge every youth on this platform to pleas stay away from weed..
it's almost impossible not to get addicted to it.
you would hardly find a person today who takes only just weed and that I can assure you.

but the boy I refer to as my brother is in no way related to me.
yes we grew up as brothers, when we were in Lagos as barrack boys, we were the only ones from the same village. the boy was a very nice and humble boy, very likeable.
my dad took him as his son, hence the reason I term him my brother. he's always like a brother to me.
no history of madness in his family.
and also there are boys in my area who are gradually loosing it to weed. they tend to worry less about critical issues and have this I don't care attitudes.
I know one now who laughs at the slightest of jokes almost every time I see him.
that was the exact symptoms my brother was developing but I didn't suspect or take note until his situation became critical.

also why do they tend to behave normal after going days without taking it??

my uncle has suffered his own now for almost 15 years.
the likes of AZ, SK, and Colorado were not present during his time taking weed.
what affected him then?
why does he behave normal if he goes weeks without taking it.

look around you, people are gradually loosing it but you ain't taking it.
I might agree with you if you say taking it time to time might be healthy oo but just like gambling, it's very addictive and we know no form of addiction is good.

marijuana doesn't make one cyke but yet I've 2 family members who are not mentally stable today all thanks to marijuana..

some might say it's not weed but truth is the both of them, whenever we manage to put them in order for about 4-5 days without smoking, they tend to behave very normal but the moment they get the chance to high up again, they begin to behave abnormal.

one of them whenever he's watching TV would start overreacting. even when he stayed hours without smoking, he just laughs without anybody cracking jokes.
it takes him days to sober and behave 70% normal.
it's almost impossible to behave 100% for that boy.
guy man that was a very committed Muslim and prays regularly can no longer fast because of weed addiction.
because of that boy, I've tend to study more about weed. yes doctors and Google search would tell you it's harmless to the brain but in reality many people are going cyke because of the substance.

I've tend to study many weed smokers in my area.
one of them who managed to quit but is deeply into cigratte told me it was affecting his brain and he was only able to conquer it through rehabilitation.

my brother if your concedering weed I urge you he careful about it. weed may be good to some but not all are lucky.
from my experience, it's a 50:50 something.
50% of weed smokers remaining normal in brain while the rest 50% get into another world.

to those thinking my family members who's not fully ok takes other substance apart from weed, I can confidently tell you that I'm 100% sure he takes weed.
in my attempt to rehabilitate that guy, when he was locked home and put under strict military restrictions by my dad, I promised to buy him weed every 3 to 3 days with hopes that we would increase the number of space as time goes by.

dude is getting better by the day but in reality, any time he smokes. it's very evident in him.

even though we didn't generate cash profit from it this year, we are positive we would get better next year..

So earlier last year, my dad decided to go into yam business. The most common in my area kuje Abuja to be precise.

Since we're just starting, we bought seedlings worth of 40k.
We later found out that seedlings are more expensive and scarce during farming/planting period.
We got the land for free
We paid farmers #20 per ridges and we dug about 500ridges.
Meaning. #20*500= 10,000

Total money spent on investment was approximately#60,000 plus running cost.

The farmers were paid 6k to harvest the whole yam.
Those guys started as early as 6am and we're done by 2pm just 3 of them.

Truck that packed it was paid 1k.
