I am a Nigerian National, a young person. I sometimes wonder when the hypocrisy of the British towards Africa and particularly Nigeria will seize?? The subtlety and undercurrent affairs arrangement of the socio- economic and political space in Nigeria is common knowledge, a secret in the open.

I despite the hypocrisy of you British and all your accompanying accoutrements. Mr. Archbishop this is almost amoral, are you feigning ignorant of the happenings in Nigeria? About the mindless killings of helpless and hapless citizens. The dehumanizing poverty. The almost genocidal proportion of calculated massacres of minority tribes by Fulani herdsmen. The enthronement of Nepotism as an official State policy in a very ethnic diverse Nation as ours. The selective nature of the so called ''corruption fight''. The clueless and inept political leadership personified by Mr. Buhari himself.

Mr. Archbishop can you in all sincerity and good conscience claim not to know the very dire situation of the Nigerian State under Mr. Buhari an avowed religious and ethnic jingoist. A coupist who truncated our fledgling democracy in 1983. Mr. Archbishop if you need reminding, did you forget the ''dog and baboon will be soaked in blood threat'' it is very recent history Sir. What about the recent gaffe of criticizing the Nigerian youth as lazy. Matter-of-factly, putting it more succinctly anybody who cannot understand or appreciated the TENACITY, RESILIENCE and INDUSTRY of the Nigerian youth in this 21st century is beyond redemption. Obviously, the entirety of his presidency has been spent self indulging or being high on some kind of hallucinating bliss (and he gets a full dose of it whenever he's in the UK).

Nigerians have had enough of British subterfuge, we are claiming our country back and your prayer Mr. Archbishop has been tossed back at you, unanswered!
