branham890:What is the model of the phone? |
I assume you are using an android phone and android phones usually consume a lot of space, I am referring to the phones system files and some other inbuilt files. First of all, check if the apk(android package) you send through xender or flash share is still in your phone, this usually consumes a lot of space. When you install the application, deleting the apk saves space as the program files of the app is on your phone, the apk is not needed. You will most likely find them in file manager>>phone memory or sd card >>xender or flash share >>app If you sent them through bleutooth, you'll find them in the Bluetooth folder. Residual files also consume a lot of space, they might not exceed a few kilobytes but they are usually much in number so you just need to look for an android system cleaner and install it to rid them of your phone. Clean master is the most popular and it works great. Also check for copy of files I.e clones of the same file .. Delete them to save space. If all the above do not work, the last resort is to restore the phone to its factory settings Disclaimer: You will lose all your files if you choose to take this course of action!. Back them up before taking this actcion. I hope I have been of help. Thanks. |

It depends on you in the end but I'll recommend the following phones for you 1.tecno W5: The phone hit the market recently and the people who I know have bought the phone are commending the efforts of tecno on this one. The main camera is 16 M.P and front camera is 8 M.P, a bit poor for the selfie lovers but still manageable. Tecno The ram is one gb and it has a fingerprint sensor at the rear. 2.Infinix hot 5: This one too hit the market notc too long ago ands is making waves. A friend of mine actually bought it for #38,000 at slot outlet, ikeja. 2gb ram and I think the selfie camera is 16M.P and the main camera is 32M.P 3.Gionee m5 mini: The Gionee m5 mini is a phone I personally used and I promise you you'll love this phone when you get your hands on it. Two gb ram, 16M.P front camera and 32M.P main camera. The phone is sleek and not too heavy. The battery is also the BOMB!!! You'll most probably you have a charger for two to three days after a full charge. You might have to go a little bit over your budget for this one though. |
branham890:The only solution to that is to replace the touchpad with a new one. |

Pad101:Yeah, that's what am saying.. The charging port is working but it only charges the phone, a computer cannot see the device when you connect it that why the notification to change to either MTP or charge only does not come up.. Once the charging port has been fixed and I mean fixed well because the charging port has five interfaces that is used to connect it to the phones engine, when all are connected, a computer can access its contents. When only the two at the extremes are connected, it charges only. In your case, I think you might have plugged in the usb a little too hard so the port shifted a little disabling you from sending through usb. My advice is just take it for proper diagnosis and repair. As for the virtual keys that are not working, you'll have to replace the touchpad completely. |
Pad101:Do you mean the virtual back and home keys on the touchpad? As for the usb connection, you need to change the charging port for that. |
RHARPHELLE99:You welcome |
Hi phone techies and engineers in the house. I, myself happen to be a phone engineer and I need help. It so happened that I was given an lg with model h345 and its problem was network lock. I tried a few futile methods of unlocking it before i tried unlocking it online using the device unlock feature in the phone, but the owner said the amount was too much for him, he couldn't afford it, so he asked me to revoke it and before I gave the phone back to him, the phone downloaded a few updates while it was connected to the wireless network in my office and I mistakenly clicked the install updates tab and then it started installing them, and you know once it starts there's no stopping it and no switching off of the phone so I patiently waited hoping it'll install successfully but it did not. Now it just displays a screen with the android logo on it and after a few minutes reboots. So I decided to use this forum to reach out to my fellow phone engineers and maybe I could get someone who actually has the flash file for this phone so I can reload the OS and return it to its default state as I have checked heaven and earth online but the pages just display a white screen whenever I click on the download link. Anyone with an alternate solution or advice is free to post it here. Thanks. |
ricktnum:Is the internal memory almost full?? If yes, you need to flash it with a computer to restore it to its factory state |
RHARPHELLE99:A part of the engine is corroded that's why Take it to any engineer closest to you to service it, you ma also need to change the charging port..... |
