The average nigerian man does not have what is reffered to as "Game" when it comes to "wooing" a woman and getting them to be a girlfriend or to start dating... There are however techniques that we as Nigerian men can use to get a woman to be interetsed in dating/courting with us ( whats the difference anyway) So you have seen a lady that you like and of whome you are interested in, these are five possible methods you can use that wont cost you too much money; 1) Approach her with confidence Girls like a guy that oozes with confidence, the best way to approach a girl is to walk and talk with confidence, do not be shy... Believe that you are the man and that whatever you say will be respected and heard 2) Give Her a Call. ... This is simple enough, as soon as you get her number, give her a call the same day and say that "You were checking if the numbers work" ask her about her day in general and keep the call very plaonic 3) Do not act desperate There is nothing that turns a woman off more than a desperate man, dont be too quick to tell her that you love her on the first day of conversation, haba... play it cool, do not call her everyday, make her want you more than you want her 4) Drop subtle hints This is the hardest part, you have to make sure that you dont end up in the friend zone, hence it is pivotal that you drop hints to make sure that you indicate your desire to be more than friends. This could come in the form of discussing how romantic you are, how well you treat ladies, etc. Just make sure that she knows you are interested in her but without acting desperate 5) Just ask her This is the final step, by the time you have done step 1 to 4, she will have been "swept under her feet" (mandatory cliched saying in this context) and she would practically be begging for you to ask her. Women have their pride so they wont ask you, they rather want you to ask. So my guy, just ask her out, whats the worst that could happen? |
It's your first day in audit!!!! You don't know how to feel. Little do you know that your life is about to change forever. The memories of the board exams you wrote a few days ago has been surpassed by the excitement of meeting new people and the shinning new cloth you are wearing to impress people. You wonder of the possibility of a new career, a new adventure, a whirlwind that could take you anywhere, the fear of the unknown is more exciting than the reality of your career prospects. Your first day in an audit firm is usually mixed with emotions, you generally will meet a lot of friends from university ( albeit you would have hardly seen them in a formal attire). You introduce yourself to everyone with a smile in the hope that lasting friendships will be formed. You are nervous but at the same time excited. You are shy but at the same time confident. You are clueless but at the same time hopeful. You are bored but at the same time excited. Mixed emotions are the order of the day. You would meet young dynamic people with similar emotions as you ( although disguised). You would see things you have never seen before. You would do things you have never done before. It is all a mystery but yet fascinating. You first day in an audit firm will be the beginning of major events to happen, it is the beginning of many funny stories that you will later tell your kids, it is the first day of the rest of your life. You will probably attend training or some sort of introductory celebration where you will meet all partners and new joiners. You will be privileged to access free food as well as wear a big fancy tag with your name and surname in bold. You will have been paid your first salary, this salary would have been used to buy the fancy attire that you are wearing. You will be told various cliched quotes referring to how "You should make the best of every second" and that " Hard work is essential" as well as how "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" You finish the day with a well fed tummy and well fed lies. Everything you have been told will not compare to what you are about to experience. Your life has just begun and you have no idea what you are getting yourself into..... |
Good luck bro, from all of us here at Nairaland |
This was a disclaimer of opinion and not an audit or an independent review, as a result, the report does not make a particular opinion that should be relied upon for any reason. Basically, When we,pwc, issue such reports, it is basically equivalent to having no report issued at all. |

Long distance relationships are proving very important now adays considering that many people start dating and later on their partners would relocate overseas to study/work etc. This would create a scenario in whcih either a long distance is formed or the termination of the relationship. This dilema is common in the nigerian situation where many people date from university and then the guy or girl decides to look for positive ventures outside of nigeria. The question now is: Do these long distance relationship work, what is the possibility that the man/woman will return to their spouse in the future, is there not a possibility that the seperated couples could find lovers within their immediate vicinity? I had a friend who had a girlfriend that moved to st lucia to study medicine. That relationship has been on and off.... What is your opinion on this? Are any fellow NL's involved in long distance relationships and does it really work? |
