If you assume gravel = Paved, meaning, 68%+9% = 77% of entire road network in Ghana is paved. Then you can validity why Ghana ain't a developed country. RQI doesn't recognize Ghana -- FYI, Ghana is nowhere near top 20 in Road quality Index - Kenya is top 7.

If gravel is considered a tarred road in Ghana, then the road quality Index findings was spot on. Dance with brown Asphalt but don't let it elevate your ego. Know your lanes already. cool
56,000km of paved roads is more or less 55% of Ghana total road network of 109,515km.

Roads ain't the only measure of what a developed country is.

The is nothing like road quality in Kenya when all the roads there are unpaved and muddy.
Now go and build more roads to change the face of Kenya, it's too dusty. Kenya doesn't have to be behind Ghana in everything developmental. I want to see it develop

Stop making uncoodinated argument. Be orderly and address the issue at hand like a man @ 40. Try to be sound and disillusion for a moment. You're sounding like a an adult buffoon.

Gravel is gravel - the other term for gravel is UNPAVED! There is nothing like gravel of Ghana. There is a thin line between Tar & bitumen, they are pretty much similar - don't be pazzled by terms. Ghana prefer bitumen more than Tar_ it doesn't dillute anything. In appearance, they are THE SAME!.The only difference is, Bitumen is distilled from cruide oil while Tar from coal and wood.

Earth roads are two compacted layers of ordinary soil. Pretty much like gravel except that gravel is compacted with tiny stones bought from stream beds or a nearby Quarry to reduce mud slippery.

We will talk about Kenya when you'll accept this fact. The fact that Ghana has 3k km of bitumen/ tarred road.
Another rant again
Simple question, are these photos of tarred roads or not? 😂🤣

Did you even read the comment you're responding to or should I enroll you in school?

The question is, when will Kenya catch up to Ghana's 56,000km of paved roads as reported in Ghana's road surface survey 2021? 😂🤣

Is the challenge too herculean for Kenya?

Back to you, mad cow.

It seems like you don't know how to interpret data.

From your very own source, you only have 3K km _ 9% of bitumen road - highly viscous, black, sticky and dense. This is pavement we're talking about.

The same article you posted, says Ghana total unpaved road : gravel and part of Earth roads, makes 63% and 28%.

Let's debunk this before we elevate the discussion to your ministry.

You said Ghana has 58k km of total road network. Wrong! If the total gravel road network in Ghana is 63%, only 37% is left for contention.

What is Earth Road?

Earth road is a low- Cost road in which pavement is constructed with SOIL available at sight. They are mostly found in rural areas and they are not well maintained as paved roads. They may also be prone to washout and mud when it rains - as we had said before, Ghana is filled with brown Asphalt roads( untarred) . Imagine this specific road carries 28% of entire road in Ghana.

Let's check gravel road:

A gravel road are roads typically found in rural areas. They are not well maintained as paved road, but more stable than earth roads. They are rough to drive on and may cause more wear and tear on vehcles. They are generally made from crashed stones.

This leaves us with only 3k km. I will cut you some slack and assume your country considers Earth roads as paved.
you're just stupid or playing stupid
Go and read again and this time give it to a KG kid to do the comprehension for you. 😂🤣
Desperate child

In Ghana, Gravel road means Gravel with Coal Tar, when you see it you'll think it is Bitumen road. Three layers of Coal Tar and 2 layers of rock chippings for road construction.

Earth roads means dusty roads hence unpaved

Example of gravel roads in some villages in Ghana(does it look paved or not)
And a video of how it is done in the US and Australia.

What's your next excuse for why Kenya is less developed with only 18,000km of paved roads(Only 9,000km of highways) than Ghana with 56,000km of paved roads.

Ghana urban roads Network - 28,480km

Ghana total paved Roads Network 56,134.9 kilometers

This is larger than Kenya's highway network of 9,000 km (all the monies you've borrowed, where did it go)

Don't mind that fool. Lay your facts bare and leave. Don't even try to argue. That is IMF -their GODFATHER saying; an institution that has been making economic dialogs _ giving financial advice and at most monitoring their liquid expenditure.. Madcow is still debunking.

For starters.
Ghana's DEPT to GDP is 104%.
Ghana's GDP per capita is 1944 USD
Ghana's GDP as highlighted above $66B

Let him argue to he turns yellow. Facts will remain Facts.
See another fool. The IMF posted that when Ghana was deep in it crisis last year October or November. In December, Ghana posted a sharp recovery with a sharp GDP increase.

Even in the face of facts you're still posting nonsense.
How much is Ghana's debt ?

The IMF and Bank of Ghana just posted Ghana's debt at 434 billion cedis in their review and also reviewed Ghana's GDP to 873 billion cedis (95 billion dollars).
Ghana's GDP per Capita is 3,100 dollars (almost twice of kenya's 1800)

Facts below

Kenya runs to the IMF every 2 years like the IMF is your daddy to run to every time you guys mismanage your economy to the extend that IMF and WB own your country as 33% of your debt is to them.

How you wish Ghana was that backward as Kenya. Your incessant need to be at par with Ghana will keep making you exasperated. 😂🤣 Foolish boy

You like to yap yap things that only you believe because you're delusional. Ghana's debt currently is 93.5 % of GDP from 82 % last year. You keep borrowing to repay your debts resulting in a vicious cycle of hyperinflation and shocking currency depreciation that has left you at the mercy of the IMF's bailout program a record 17 times since 1966. Just recently in May the IMF gave you your 18th bailout ($3 b). Can you deny what I just said? That infor is freely available you just need a brain that is at minimum better than your president. I totally agree with you that Ruto is a fool but Kenya will never need bailouts from IMF.
I have never been delusional here and that does not mean I have to tell lies here.

Ghana's debt as at the end of May 2023 release of the bank of Ghana is 434 billion cedis which is less than 50% of GDP. It was 575 billion dollars in last year November which was 72% of GDP. Next time be factual

Kenya mismanagement has led it to the IMF 26 times (an absolute record) every 2 years. You guys have not exited your current IMF double bailout and you're already seeking another.

You don't even have the brains to know that Kenya is currently in an IMF program which was a double bailout in just one year because of how desperate your situation was. I've not seen something similar in any country.

As the kenyan shilling continue to crater, it creates more hardship for Kenyans as you guys don't have the buffer

Ruto and his leadership is just pitifully moronic. There's nothing to show in almost one year except debts, debts, and more debts. And all this money is being stolen by him and his cronies. The average Kenyan's life has gotten worse in just 9 months compared to any time in history. I warned Kenyans that Ruto will be competing with Moi as the worst president Kenya ever had. But again Africans being Africans don't listen and learn.

That said, no matter how much Kenya borrows, even with leadership as incompetent as Ruto's with his pumpkin head, we will never be as chronically ill and indebted as Ghana. The black star is a special case that deserves its very own table at the Harvard Business school Econ lab.
Ghana is not chronically ill and indebted.

Ghana has done very well at keeping it debt low and manageable.

Ruto was supposed to reduce your borrowing inorder to bring your debt servicing cost under management. Today he is asking for a 15 years freeze on debt payment.

Kenya has a leadership crisis. Not even Nana Addo is as stupid as the past and current leaders of Kenya. As much as we blame him for our debt climbing sharply, it has always been under proper control. With our debt payment being extremely low.
It doesn't look like you guys have any sense of economics. Kenya crisis did not start today, it started 6 years ago and you e not resolved it yet

In just 9 months, he has borrowed more than 13% of your total debt. The IMF conditions are really bitting Kenyans and generally, Kenyans are a lot poorer than Ghanaians. Hence more vulnerable

Infrastructural development is seen. Eye test will see you behind doors. Ghana doesn't come anywhere close to Kenya, TZ, Nigeria... In that regard! We have seen it through pictorial test. Electricity, maybe you can have a say.
Yet Ghana is above your country in every infrastructure.

Yes infrastructure development is seen hence Ghana extensive infrastructure from water supply to roads to health to education to electricity.

Even looking at Kenya and Ghana by satellite is like night and day.
