There is nothing to correct; dwarf. You spend 80% of your entire revenue in servicing debt. I'm not saying this to troll; it's a fact! cool
dream on

3.5 billion is not 80% of Ghana's revenue 😂🤣

How could you imagine that $3.5 billion equates to 72% of your revenue servicing rate? How dumb are you?

Go check your CBG data. You will see nothing like $3.5Billion; unless chronic glaucoma has done so much damage cool
That's you imagining it is 🤣😂

Should I help you with the post of the world bank with every country debt payment due for the year?

Kenya borrowed recklessly hence the 15 billion dollars you guys have to spend on debt in 2023.

It's well known that without IMF Ghana is in oblivion. Your dwarf republic has a long way to re-align itself in debt management.

Kenya is not your mate.
Everyone knows that Ghana has never needed the IMF just like we currently don't need them because all the solutions we need are with us.

Unfortunately the situation is not the same for Kenya because without the IMF, that country won't exist.

Just like they may have to save you again, this year from hunger.

You litter this thread with hallucinations.
You need the medicine more.

You hate facts... Ghana will be spending 35 billion cedis on wages, salaries and compensation this year..

You can help yourself out 😂🤣

@the bolded, that would be very crazy thing to do. I doubt they'll deliberately wanna do that.
They do that all the time to each other especially when they know that there is no chance for them to win the next election.

This government nearly did last year until the opposition rose up that they won't accept any program that will strangle their next govt.

I'm grateful they did...

Don't confuse education with relating tatntrum as information. Ghana spent more than you actually think. The last time we scrutinized your CBG data; Ghana was spending a whopping 72% of total interest on servicing debt.

Don't waste words with me. I'm not here to contest for word peddling.

Come here with facts and links; or STFU!
Except I'm not the one think I'm just posting what we actually spend 🤣😂

3.5 billion dollars is not 72% of revenue... Learn proper maths

It's a simple fraction equation

Don't forget IMF is at her neck! Ghana will lose a lot if they break ties with IMF! IMF is holding Ghana like an egg, with caution.

Sorry Kenya, it looks like your government may have to sign another EFF and ECF with the IMF because you problems just became worse

I dont listen to an idiot like you.
I do my own research.
Ghana gov has been printing money to pay salaries.
That is why inflation is at 60%.

Cedis has stabilized because you're not paying any debt.
All the pressure to pay Eurobond and other creditors with hard currency is temporary off
You're "enjoying" before IMF arrive.
And then you'll suffer till 2037.
no... Ghana government has not

Infact we've not hand a problem with paying salaries since it only consumes 20 to 25% of revenue.

No.. cedi has stabilize because of prudent policy interventions.

We are paying debt alright... All our external creditors including Eurobond holders have been paid and so are individual local bond holders.

Kenya debt to GDP is 67%.

Deal with your 110% debt to GDP in peace cool

PoliticsRe: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just40: 10:35am On Apr 10, 2023
GeneralDae:
The only reason I think Ghana shouldn't do that is because of the very high inflation rate already. Else it would have been much better option in their times of need.
They did it last year though but couldn't do it well due to their inflation rate and probably for fear of annoying the IMF.
The drivers of Ghana Inflation have been brought under control so there's currently a downward trajectory.

This is the perfect time to print more and acquire more gold while the central bank makes a windfall in the difference.

Ghana does not need to go to the IMF, it was never needed and everyone is advising the govt not to go because it is not a solution to any of the problems that Ghana faces.
All the solutions the Ghana needs is in the Bossom of the govt.

But for political reasons, they may choose to go just to scream up the next govt options and make noise in opposition.

You must be extremely dumb if you're not acting up!

Where did you get those figures from my simple two digits 110% and 80%?

I presume you’ve just quoted 2020 worldometric data where it puts 44% of ghana total revenue for servicing debt.

Don't be a ret@red.
Well I don't know what world metric is ... I know my budget for 2023

I also know that Ghana debt payment for 2023 is 3.5 billion dollars and my ministry has budgeted for 4.5 billion just in case.

Do you need anymore education? 😂🤣

A Financial Analyst, Johnson Ameyaw has said but for the Bank of Ghana (BoG) overdraft to the Ministry of Finance, payments of salaries and other statutory payments would have been difficult.
Let me help you .... The bank of Ghana printed 80 billion Cedis and handed it over to the govt to purchase gold through PMMC for the bank of Ghana to stuck it metal reserves ....

That was smart.. it effectively created a gold cedi peg that has cause stability in the currency.

Kenya does not have this option because the Israeli firm in charge of your gold will not accept kshs for gold and the IMF will not allow you to print.

Ruto will not default. Ruto will print KSH and strike deals with foreign vendors to use local currency for trade. We're already doing that with UAE.
you can't print kshs while the IMF is hover governing Kenya.
Also you can't print kshs to pay 80% of the debt that are denominated in foreign currencies unless Kenya has a Dollar printing machine in Nairobi 😂

Ironical as it sounds.
It's like Somalian telling a Kenyan than you're about to go full afghan by virtue of having few alshabaab!

Hobbit republicans should not have a say on anything debt!

Ghana is already beyond redemption. 110% debt to GDP and still growing. Ghana spend more than 80% of revenue servicing there currently balooning debt; Meaning, no salaries, development, wages and whatnot can be pained without hitting IMF, world bank or china.

Don't project your mess on us.
Still making factual errors despite correct... As usual, you can't force knowledge into someone's head and not especially a Kenyan 😂🤣🤣

What should Ruto do

Should he outsource the blame for Kenyans hunger to Kenya's creditors or he should take the blame for the hunger because which ever decision he takes, there will be a serious hunger in Kenya.?

Shma2023:
Again, Ghana debt to GDP is 110% and ballooning.
Ghana spends 80% to service interest. Meaning 30% of the entire budget are send to cater for hobbits needs.

Forget development

Lemme put it simple for your dwarf brain:
Debt is not GDP. 80% od your total revenue goes to pay debt.
go back a correct your previous post so you don't look more stupid than you currently are to the rest of the community

You can thank me for the correction later.

Now pick your choice as a Kenyan, help your govt make this decision.

Should Ruto keep defaulting on more debt or he should not pay salaries for the next one year.?

You are fvcking hilarious. In 2022, how many African countries came close to Nigeria in all round spending and infrastructure development?
NNPC is even drilling new oil fields in several Northern states by themselves ( not a small thing to do).
Lagos is almost completing a red line train covering several areas of Lagos ( that began 2021) after first phase of blue line.
State Governors commissioned projects upon projects, roads upon roads. Several gas projects worth billions of dollars ongoing. Renovation of Airports, etc.
You can't just borrow alone to do all of these. If we just borrowed more only, we would have been bankrupt now with all of these projects and the allocation from Federal Government without fail for salaries and other things. What was the increase in our total debt in 2022 compared with the over 20 Billion dollars released as allocation in addition to several ongoing projects? Let's argue with logic.
The Kenyans are yet to learn this common sense.... This is the Singaporean approach

No debt, all development out of one's own pocket... This is prudent

It spent the last 7 years borrowing to pay salaries just like I told the dumb Kenyans here 5 years ago

It is a no brainer that you'll have to borrow to pay salaries when 110% of revenue went to just debt servicing and wages as far back as 2016

But withdrawing salary is even more deadly and stupid approach to solve empty pulse . You have nothing left yes we know, but you can't kill the elephant for the purpose of having goat soup . It doesn't works that way . Your civil servant are the anchor of your economy . By withdrawing salaries from your formal sector you have indirectly handicapped the informal sector as well. Simply because it is what is available in the pulse of civil servant that will be spread across the country doubling their problem . Money doesn't fall from heaven . IMF is a very good option , they will come and introduce financial stability in the country . You are also postponing salary. for the fact that you are not paying now , you will still pay later but by then , you will have sunk deeper in poverty. Missing the millinium goals development agenda set by UNO. Go check Ghana figures on the sheet

Your country has lost it all , your domestic market cant even trust you.
