rvp2018: That video going around is by lunatics who think dollar is about to die soon. Ruto was talking about KES-USD exchange rate..going down due to intervention in kenya forex market Not dumping dollars
Ruto in meantime is busy farming
So Ruto is now a lunatic? 😂🤣😂
He should farm well because Kenya needs food but he can either be a president or return to the farm but not both.
Just like the choice he has to make of either paying salaries or defaulting on a lot more debt than he has currently. The headache of this choice is why he's on the farm seeking wisdom
rvp2018: 80% of kenya debt maturities are local. Ghana went bankrupt because I told you 3yrs ago - you were taking a lot of external debt. Ours we can just print KES and pay off. Treasury does that by simply borrowing from Central Bank of Kenya as overdraft.
Another lie
80% of all debt that Kenya owes was borrowed in dollars
Go and print dollars and let see.
Kenya went bankrupt as far back as 2017 and you waited for things to become bad before rushing to the IMF, unfortunately it was too late.
rvp2018: Mad-man - you should think about your pensioners & investors - who invested either directly or through pension funds or such funds in Ghana treasury bonds thinking Ghana gov will not go broke - who forever will not get their money.
The worse that can happen for kenyans is a week delay.
Of course it big news in kenya because salaries already get paid by 20th.
So a week delay for some few people is NOT BIG DEAL.
Big deal is GHANA BROKE GOV forcing Ghanians and other investors to take 7.8B dollars haircut losses.
Kenya has a long way to default - we can just print KES and pay off - our inflation is at 9% - Ghana is at 90% (official 50%) - so we can just wake up and print money and pay off salaries - that will reflect in inflation.
It is sickening when a Ghanian speak macro-economic - I feel like puking.
no you can't print 😂🤣😂 you Lunatic The IMF won't permit you
Ghanaian pensioners have no problem ... They were exempted
I'm more worried for all the Kenyans who will not be able to repay their debt to banks and will end up losing their properties. How about the banks who they owe ?
You have two options, either keep defaultibg on more debts like you've done with the Chinese, American, french and Italian debts for an entire year or stop paying salaries for an entire year ...
Pick your own poison 😂🤣
Ghana was able to avoid both options by simply printing and setting pegging against gold.
Kenya does not have this option, it is effectively a broke bankrupt country
Let me flash some flashy projects Ghana is building that Kenya can't afford 🤣😂
rvp2018: Yes at least you were able to nail the domestic debt restructuring - domestic creditors have little in negotiating power. Now go and negotiate with Chinese Tell China-man to take haircut - and you'll know China man doesnt joke around.
Good enough Ghana didn't borrow as much from China like Kenya.
We can sell them a small portion of our daily oil lifting from the Jubilee field and ask China to keep the money 😂
rvp2018: What is Nigeria Debt Servicing Ratio. Kenya one has risen from 24% to 33% to 40% to 50% to now 60%. Ideally 33% is benchmark for gov or your as individual. 1/3 of your salary or revenue should go to debt repayment - obviously Kenya has dropped the ball - hence the occasionally cash crunch.
Argue with facts or just throw facts outside like Ghanians - and rant like a mad man.
What is Nigeria Debt Servicing Ratio.
mad man
Kenya is doing 75% of revenue... Kenyan wages, salaries and compensation takes 55% of revenue
There's no way to balance this and that is why Kenya is bankrupt and has defaulted of so many debt. Now you don't want to pay workers.. the headache is on Kenya to solve and the IMF couldn't save you from this train reck.
Neither Ghana or Nigeria has gotten to this level of mess yet. This is why you can see big budget financing projects going on in both countries but not in Kenya.
rvp2018: I quote many things to referenced - it was just opposition - it was everyone screaming Ghana is broke - and it is. Ghana is bankrupt and defaulted. Kenya gov is not. Nigeria is more likely to default.
Ghana spent 35% of revenue on debt servicing and 30% on wages so it can't be broke. Ghana eurobond holders said they were fully paid throughout last year and this January. So in essence nothing has been defaulted on.
Go and worry about were Kenya will get money from to pay your workers and why Kenya is still defaulting on more debt.
rvp2018: Opposition propaganda from a party that nearly took Kenya to Ghana - default. Mps were paid salaries.
The new administration has worked very hard to avoid Ghana default.
Is it not a fact that workers have not been paid?
Where were you expecting Kenya to get money from when 75% to debt servicing and your wages takes 55% of revenue , how were you expecting wages to be paid?
vaxx: Just shut up , we currently have the best secondary school per education excellence in west africa ( fact are taking from our regional exams ) and if kenya is included today , you will be beaten as well.
From times higher education, university of cape coast is the top four best university in africa beating any of your university to stupor.
Our debate program anchored on our national TV called NSMQ will be too much for your best university debate. There is evidence.
The questions are just ordinary WASSCE question yet this dumb kid called them Elite 😂🤣
Mkenya2019: Not surprising you cant read the graph. It GDP versus number of effective schooling. The way your argue and write - your effective schooling is less than 5yrs. You might have spend 12yrs in school - but you write, argue and reason - like 10yr old in 5th grade in Singapore.
017, the World Economic Forum rated Kenya’s education system as the strongest on the African continent. In 2018, the World Bank ranked Kenya the top African country for education outcomes (1st out of 43 mainland countries).
Let me help you read the graph... Tell the entire platform what is on the y-axis 🤣😂
No wonder your comprehension skills is that of a 2 years old kid Dumb kid
Mkenya2019: Elite schools exist everywhere. Education system is about the mean.
To get a sense of Kenya’s historical overperformance, consider the 2007 results of standardised tests for sixth graders conducted by the Southern and East African Consortium for Monitoring Educational Quality. Kenya’s average score was 557 points. That’s well above South Africa’s average of 495 points. Kenyan children’s basic literacy and numeracy skills were stronger than South Africa’s.
Then I guess all the schools in Ghana are elite schools since they all participate 😂🤣
Don't worry, we've seen your yearly test results and they are below par
Mkenya2019: This graph says Kenya is MILES away from Africa - and assessment has been done showing - Kenya and Mauritus have middle class country level of education.
or maybe we should believe the judgement of a madman
Yes... The graph says Kenyan kids are spending more years in school than the African and world average.
Which means they are the dumbest kids in the world .... Your exams results is a vindication 🤣😂🤣
On the other hand, Botswana, South Africa and Gabon have the best.
Though Georgia and Vietnam also spend similar years like kenya, they come out with better outcomes than kenya
vaxx: The girl is another illiterate like you. Even from her spoken English, there is a heavy presence of swahili provoke sound in her poor understanding .
🤣😂
She exposed the typical Kenyan education and how it makes them dumb and not critical thinkers.
Mkenya2019: Impress this girl married to Ghanian. To paraphrase her - she never met people so thick headed like Ghanians - and you, vax, other Ghanians - just by your atrocious English prose & grammar - vindicate her.
Go to 4 minutes SERIOUSLY - Kind of obtuseness she never met her all life - she says it's MIND BENDING
if this is any indication... Kenyans are the most dumbest people I've come across .... See he can't even express himself properly.. This is typical of the country block headed people
Mkenya2019: Literate is someone who can read or write. That is achieved in early primary or even adult education. Kenya did a lot of that adult education when you were hunting for food in Nigeria.
And your government said 10 million adult Kenyans are illiterate... So who were you trying to impress?
Now you've moved your number upwards to 8 ? 😂🤣
From the look of things, 90% of Kenyans are illiterate, general behavior of Kenyans and the dumb people you elect is an indication
Mkenya2019: kenya has 99 percent adult literacy - highest now in Africa.
Ghana - this from your own gov - out of 30m people - 7M cannot read or write
Findings from an upcoming report from the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) reveals that 7.9 million persons aged 6 years and older in Ghana are illiterate i.e. they cannot read and write with understanding. This figure is broken down into 4.6 million illiterate females and 3.3 million illiterate males, indicating a female disadvantage that has been persistent over time.
The report also finds that between the 2010 and 2021 Population and Housing Censuses (PHC), 1.2 million more illiterate adults (15 years and older) were added to the population – from 4.3 million in 2010 to 5.5 million in 2021.
Ghana has lower levels of adult literacy compared to its comparators (lower middle income and sub-Saharan African countries), after three years of the provisions on illiteracy captured in the Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2018-2030.
Yeah because failures are considered literate in Kenya 😂🤣😂 I wish you were ashamed to actually post an actual figure.
How many insane things are you going to say today?
