yarimo:Normally I no dey take ur likes seriously, but you should be REMINDED poverty has INCREASED EXPONENTIALLY under your principal. Try dey look mirror! |
phemray:Sadly you are the one that doesn't know what is going on, or did the 2022 electoral laws make it compulsory that members of a political party must be registered electronically (e-registration)? And if it is changing for 2027 why is d president consenting to a law that gives d opposition bearly a month to do something that took d ruling party over a year?(put in mind APC started ds e-registration last year n wants d opposition to run it within a month, organize their primaries etc) - Is it fair to them, that is all I ask, if they wanted them to submit their hardcopy party membership register I am sure they can do that, but asking them to submit electronic membership register (they'll be lucky to av upto 1million online registered member within a month, n INEC will use part of ds data to defend APC if they rig emselves in) It goes on n on.... To think the same ruling party asking for e-registration of members refused compulsory e-transmission of results just shows u their true intentions. It is sad, pathetic n unfair and I personally hate injustice - this has nothing to do with been a member of any party... I want a nation that works for all, not one that we all rig each other out in business, politics, finance, career etc...as a black nation, our brain no generally suppose dey wired to cheat ourselves or others. #We can build systems (not individuals) that our children will be proud of. ✌️ |
duro4chang:Like I predicted, I knew you'll not answer my questions but drag this to a different angle where u r comfortable, it is exactly why I said you lot are pathetic! #YSK I have never been a member of any political party all my life n MAY never be one, so quit d insinuation that anyone who points out injustice is an ADC member - I guess they may be d good guys since u r assuming I am one of em for not supporting something wrong. #And yes, I'll be here to point out whatever I perceive is wrong that is met out to y'all (in d APC today) in the future. #Peace, I'll only reply you here again when you answer my first question n make ds conversation issue/facts-based. |
duro4chang:Very 4ny, you lot are pathetic! I asked you a simple question but instead of answering u had to shift the narration, from where you'll twist everything to suit the narration in ur head - Agenda must Agenda 😅(I already know you know ur party played dirty politics here but against ur conscience (if u stl av any) you av to pretend ADC are d bad guys). You shd know tho, everything should not be politics, who knew NNPP Abba will move to d ruling party 2yrs ago, did anyone expect UBA Sani n El-rufai to be at loggerheads today, or that Rev Alia n SGF to be in a tussle? Always do what is right, cause we will all taste of the right or wrong we did here before we rest with our fathers. #Ire oo |
duro4chang:What Gov. Bala said has nothing to do with why they rejected the date... My question to u now is, did APC use 1 month to do their e-registration? If no since when did they start? And was "party membership e- registration" part of our electoral laws in the past?(I asked ds question cause u wl say APC started preparing early - for what? For something that wasn't existing in our electoral laws then but was seen as an advantage they can use against opposition last minute)? What Pres. Tinubu n d ruling party is doing is unfair, if PDP had done this to em in 2013/2014 they won't smell power today - People are taking notes n we must always be fair in our dealings cause power is transient. |
Did any of those who have said something on this thread read the reason behind their rejection? I opened the thread to read why they'd reject the time table cause I thought they were been mischievous or unserious, but if we are been honest their reasons for the rejection made sense. They either allow em use d (hardcopy, paper & pen)party register or they shift the time table for d party primaries etc. It's unfair to use insider information to put em in disarray if u r truly popular. #I do not support d opposition blindly neither do I criticize d ruling party blindly too. |
9jatriot:And President Tinubu's hands are tied right? Some of u need to be evaluated to check the state of ur mental health, cause is he not the commander in chief of the armed forces? Did he not swear to protect Nigerians? Do you retain or increase the salaries of ur security guards if after beating ur opponents in a match they(ur security guards) allows ur opponents into ur compound to vandalize it with less ammunition n intelligence? What r u even typing? Always blaming everyone else but emselves. Mhew! |
98% true, d sad part is none party members who refuse to vote later complain abt how they can't feel d impact of their local representatives, shey u know or vote for d said "rep."? it is 9jas' sad reality.... USA dey prepare 4 midterm n naim dey give em hint of where they are headed. I pray we get it right someday. Afterthought: It is d reason why d ruling party is doing online reg. for their members right now(de mk em feel been a member of their party is a big deal), dt way their members feel de belong n they stand to gain something (d party also promises em goodies) if they retain power, most none party members don't get ds, if u r voting against a party in power, then we must also see things from their POI, cause u wl be voting against people who are 70% likely to vote, none party members on the other hand, have less than 50% likelihood of voting. |
I love how other threads relating to a particular subject is posted underneath the new one on Nairaland, it's a nice initiative. |
For how long will we continue like this as a nation? |
I dont know why I have started seeing your post again. @Seun, pls add a dialog to the block option such that anyone that wants to block someone gets a list of options to block them for a month, 3months, 6month, 1year or forever. This 3weeks thing is nauseating. I hope you look into this, thank you! |
Kemetian:Rest. Abeg Rest Again. One of your laptop boy colleague sent in the video of him making the statement n I was disappointed to see that he was only making comparison. Should Nigerian Islam practice be different from those of other parts of the world? Can't we live happily together, produce and train only children we can comfortably cater for? I mean, see the madness going on in the north today in the name of banditry. Anyone angry about what he said should remain angry for life n more than anything I pray your manipulations(laptop boys) backfires n births a Nigeria we can all be proud of in the comity of nations. |
magoo10:Na u never actually under Dr. Jonathan... The Laptop boys made it look like they saved the day and will gladly dig it out shd Dr Jonathan decide to seek reelection against their principal - he is setting the records straight with this statement of his', if anything, his statement in my opinion is prove the man is personally very much interested in seeking office again. |
PHIPEX:This was the first thing that came to my mind when I read this news. While I am a lil indifferent on whatever sentence he got, why shd known killers be called repentant bk, repeatant bandits, etc and reabsolved into the army, community etc n even empowered, others get very light sentences while someone who didn't kill a single person be told he is lucky he wasn't hanged? I mean common. Let's see what happens next sha. |
Richtaiwo:Stories! Have you atleast googled the percentage of Indians living below $2.15 per day before spewing this gibberish? Why assume 30% when you can get the exact figure to counter him? You accuse him of something and you are repeating same mistake - worst part, you are doing a "worser" job, cause available info. says he is right. |
LegendHero:Believe me or not, some of ur party people will not appreciate this line of thought cos of politics... Now 4 a second, Imagine USA steps in n starts eliminating ds guys - u think d north wl also not cry abt Tinubu bringing Christian foreigners to keeeel their people? Once that happens we both know d president wl loose more supporters in d north(some wl appreciate what he is doing, but a lot more including some of his biggest supporters wl most likely not) n we both know he'll not want to jeopardize anything that'll mess his second term ambition up even if he is under performing. I'll suggest he follows what Trump suggests instead n let our army n other sister agencies deal RUTHLESSLY with ds evil guys. Will it stop some of the northerners from crying fowl once d military start dealing with ds guys? No, but it'll be more reasonable to use our boys than av America do it or get directly involved. |
Penguin2:Let me drop this here, for those who are discerning, Pres. Tinubu is playing a game, he knows most Nigerians are not pleased with his government, he tried gaslighting us by insisting their was lil to no hardship, once he noticed it backfired he changed tactics(more recently)to telling us he feels the pain of the common man n it's only a matter of time before they start enjoying the devidends of his hard decisions. Trust me long term, there'll be lil to nothing to show. Secondly, he is bribing (threatening, coercing etc ahead of next year) more governors to join him cause he knows most of em are sellfish n do not think beyond winning d next election, so where e go touch em na starting from January next year once the tax law sets in motion, most of these governors will join him to receive the backlash of his tax reform by the populace, it'll be too late for some of em to retrace their steps (the sentiment will most likely be vote anything APC out of our national life, he will try relaxing some of d policy either after trying em or outrightly refusing to try em) hence d third point(violence)... Thirdly, they will use this governors n their influence in their respective states to do unthinkable things just to win the elections (Pres. Tinubu understands bribery works but most Nigerians are now more aware - esp. Southerners) - by unthinkable I mean actions including but not limited to bribery, thuggery, violence (think of Lagos 2023 governorship election abnormalities raised to power 3 on a national level same day - it's exactly why he's secretly proposing all elections to be held same day so the governors do not play a fast one on him by refusing to give their full backing). I can go on n on but no be everything person dey type... The way out for Nigerians is make everybody weh no get PVC go register n collect am, make we all come out enmasse for d election n DEFEND our votes(No be d spirits go do their dirty dealings, na people weh we sabi), if he wins, it shd be because he was reelected, if opposition does, it shd be because Nigerians voted for them. He will tell u otherwise, but he has no plans to build a Nigeria that works for all - it is one that works for mostly d elites(loyal to him) b4 anyone else he wants. Shallom! |
Happy Birthday Celebration Sir. May God's unction on you continue to be on the increase. 🥂 |
kfasian:Just last Friday, a friend's daughter checked hers and realized they withheld her result with d excuse that "those below 18 cannot print their result slip". I was livid! You allowed me register 4 d exam, wrote the exam, even paid for the result before telling me I can't print what I paid for? What nonsense! May God help us to help ourselves, cause I don't understand how it seems d nation always take one step forward n five steps backward. |
This is extremely low. Time will come sha that Nigerians will remind him his utterances. |
callmeDDD:Plausible, but did you read where it was said that policemen happily looked on while some of the attacks took place? Does opposition control police too? |
Newsgeek24:Someone should advice these people (government of the day) that the seed they are sowing will definitely germinate n consume them - I hope people don't start shooting politicians in broad daylight all because some people are desperate (and they'll tell u we sabi politics ni(strategy)). Anyhow weh u won look am, these will not end well for the political class (might end up favouring d masses at d end of the day sha) so make em continue their madness. |
Thundafireseun:Like I told one of you yesterday, pls while defending this government or any private person, do not leave your brain behind. This is not to defend PO, but I find it funny that APC depleted the reserve in question, another APC government has grown a segment of it and are expecting applause. For what? My son bashes my car, I repair it and expect the community to praise me? Common! Let the president and his cohorts concentrate on making life better for the citizens and leave the need for constant validation. He asked for the job(no, not asked, but did all manner to get d job n doing all manner to retain same), why expect constant praise for doing little to nothing? Is 50kg rice now 9000? Is petrol now 150/ltr? Do most average government workers' salary comfortably feed em and their immediate family? If all this becomes a yes then, why won't people hail d government? (Atleast 9ja for don dey whr e bn dey as d biggest economy in Africa b4 APC) |
TimeManager:Very 4ny. No be for this same TICAD em say Nigeria stand empty and na some private citizens weh dey there step up to answer questions on behalf of the government? |
[quote author=naptu2 post=136449851]Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai @elrufai times ahead. Not enough original content? Here's one.... Not a fan of d current govt at d center but I love how they are probing opposition figures(El Rufai, Tambuwal, Udom etc) and how their lackeys are defending the probe. Pick up as many as possible if they genuinely av questions to answer... I'll most likely vote for the opposition, if they happen to win, let em also return the favour - I guess we are about to witness the sanity/accountability we've been praying for in governance. |
Trymeee:Have you read the(ur) post I quoted? It's funny u r talkn abt comprehension issues when u r d one who needs to learn how to communicate n comprehend. Read it again, then read my reply. Peace! |
