I understand your point of view, I was ones like that, it won't take valuable time just to check on someone, can be social media etc. Not necessarily everyone from your past but the really close ones I mean. Just remember this post. One day you would understand it better.

For me once someone is my ex, I cut off all form of communication and I don't bother about her nor bother my head with what she does. Whether she thinks highly or lowly of me is actually of no interest to me.

And most importantly, no matter the level of love, affection and commitment that must have existed while we were in relationship, reunion is highly impossible.

This also applies to ex-friends though

I used to act this way, but time and maturity will change that your mindset when u realize how short this life is, one day those people you shared some good(intimate) moments with won't be here no more...then you will realize how important it is to at least be on good terms with like 98% of em even if not all..

P.s. No one knows tomorrow we might be of help to each other one day as we attain different positions in liFe... So that your mindset is oldskul been there done that.
