I got mentally cramped just by mere reading this. 😰

I get you ma.
But what can I do? I told my wife before we got married that I hate crowded houses and homes and that I don't like people coming to live with us for long. To the extent I fought my siblings to stop coming for long stays instead I provide them with alternative places to stay.

But my wife's people. If you say they shouldn't stay long they will start guilt-tripping my wife that she doesn't want her siblings to stay with her blah blah blah... that she knows there is no food in their house and so on and she doesn't want them to come and at least have something to eat. Next thing she starts feeling bad and begs me uncontrollably to allow them to come.

Another reason she allows them to come is, she does not like house chores (i mean my wife). So he sisters know this and they use it to buy their way to her allowing them to come. They will tell her how they will take care of our baby, sweep the house for her and clean it. This is exactly what my wife wants and then viola she accepts.
There was even a time we had a house help who comes to clean the whole house with her 2 siblings sitting and idling around. I had to send the house-help away cos I can't have two people who stay at home doing nothing, eat like there is no tomorrow, always watching dstv (big brother naija or african magic), and still employ a house-help who am paying to be cleaning even the room they sleep in for them. I said no.
So that is now how the house chores thing started.
I am tired
I am really tired.
They reported me to their father that I am using them as slaves.
I shouldn't have gotten married.
I would have contracted a baby-mama to have children for me. That i would have managed better.
This is tiring.

Some day I feel like running away.

Tell them to help their sister wash plates they say you have turned them into house helps.
If my own sibling just visits for a night they insist I should tell the visitor to join in house chores (we live in a 2 bedroom flat that i alone can clean in less tha 3hrs) And its also not like my siblings don't help out oooo. My sister was the house cook for 2yrs before she travelled out.
And its not like they are working or schooling oooo. They stay at home 24/7 eating food as they like and counting all they have done for me.
So so annoying.
I don't blame them. I blame my wife who is very lazy which is why they are now the ones who she delegate to do her house chores. Which is now bringing all these talks. Its still bad that I still give stipends to them for helping with chores in a 2 bedroom flat. This i do to make them feel not being taken advantage of. But if I hear...

My wife is another case. She just likes staying idle and pressing her phone. Even to take care of a child, just one son who is 2yrs is a big deal for her. And my wife isn't working . She is a full time stay-at-home wife, who is placed on monthly salary to meet her own needs. Still she still can't take care of our only child.
