I am not a supporter of the military and their abusive way of life, but i cant find a place in the statement where he said that the military will arrest anyone. I watch the interview on channels TV and the point he stressed about social media is that they monitor to enable them counter wrong information promptly such as the topic of this thread that is capable of inciting people. Nigerians should learn to be objective and be open minded

I've sent numerous messages to MTN via their
twitter and facebook page/handle. All they tell me is that their support team is on it. No action whatsoever.. ( since 2 years + now. Nothing has been done there. the Name of the community is Lorji in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government of Imo-state(it is comprised of up to 5 villages).

This problem has caused deaths and great problem to them(the villagers, since there is no way to call for help from Police, doctors etc.. when one is in trouble. please we need a Mast. why the isolation?

If getting a land will the issue/problem then, am willing to offer MTN lands to plant the mast..

OP you dont have to be angry. Many Nigerians have this obligation mentality. MTN is a privately owned firm and is not under any obligation to install their base station in every town or village. They can choose to remain in one city and not expand, that is their choice and no one can force them to expand. It purely a business decision when it comes to things like this. I will suggest you come up with proposal detailing things or opportunities MTN will also stand to gain by having a base station in your community.

I agree with you that the Secret service is devoid of any sentiment, however i disagree with you that details are drawn from US military. Yes some operatives have previously served with the military, yet selection is based on merit.
Due to the serious inter-agency rivalry amongst the different security services it is not very popular to see operatives swap from one agency to another. They all share different beliefs and the operatives tend see the other agencies as inferior. Operatives with specialized skills will rather prefer to work with private security consulting firms.

SMH... Im sure we forget things easily in Nigeria.The government approved and brought in South Africans as mercenary some few weeks to the 2015 elections. These guys were not here to train but to fight against the BH elements solely cos the military at that times lacked the expertise to handle the equipment and experience needed. Truth be told that decision produced some results and maybe for now we will have to rely on support from foreign powers until we can truly be self-sufficient.

These are special forces... The dreaded US SEAL is an arm of the US Navy and the are trained to operate from the sea,air and land. Air cover is not provided/operated by the SEAL team but by the other branches of the military. Let's try and be objective with our criticism and be open-minded

No one has said every part of the country shld not be represented. But this Buhari health issue is taking a large chunks of our MONEY and TIME. Money that will have been used to pay pensioners, teachers, administrators, employ more school leavers and or graduates is being used to foot the already bloated bills of sick President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ailing President Buhari wasted time in appointing federal ministers in the onset of his victory at the 2015 Presidential election and with the sudden sickness that came up over him he has wasted over half of his 4 years tenure taking treatment abroad. If it is a southern nigerian leaders that is seriously sick the northerners will not allow such southern leaders to freely go abroad and seek proper treatment as they will gang up against the southern leaders just the way they did against President Jonathan. But President Buhari is enjoying the cooperation of Southern politicians to embark on a very expensive medical tourism. A huge medical cost that he is yet to open up about the financial implication (cost) to the Nigerian electorate and tax payers.

Politicians are boosting British tourism industry with our money as the more they frequent the United Kingdom to see Mr President MONEY is directly and indirectly leaving our economy.

The northern people of Nigeria are not feeling it the way we feel it in the south the reason being that it is southern money that this northern leaders is wasting.

The British government want President Buhari to remain sick so that MONEY will continue to be drained from our economy to boost the British economy that is already suffering from the effect of BREXIT. ( British government policy to leave the european union )

Fellow Introverts,

It has been nice reading about our experiences. I can relate with most of the things shared. I am equally an introvert, i can boldly say it has both the good and the bad sides. There is nothing wrong with your personality as an introvert. I have over the years tried to work on myself, it does not mean i am no longer an introvert. I still spend most of my free time indoors, i avoid crowded places and i find it cool being alone.

However, i realized i usually miss out of opportunities as people dont know i have certain talents and abilities. I have come to accept that there is a difference between being timid and being an introvert. So i started making conscious efforts to work on my timidity and over time i could stand any where to express my opinions. It was not easy initially but i was determined to break free of the fear. I started by being open when i'm in my comfort zone, i will volunteer to work on projects/programs i would normally turn down if selected.

Over the years i have been able to add value to people i come in contact with and this gives me a lot of satisfaction

I have come to appreciate my person as an introvert and i no longer feel being bad or moody.
