The people bankrolling Apapa today are those people Obi met in the party like the ebonyi state's LP governorship candidates, Awaradi whose ticket was hijacked for GRV in Lagos and others like that whose mandate was hijacked by Abure to accommodate Obi and other moneybags that joined the party after the conclusion of the party primaries.


The issue in court has been there before the election so for them to now turn around to blame Tinubu for their party's problem means they don't even know what's happening in there party and BTW, how many of them are even LP party members? AD is still alive as we speak. He left AD with some key members and formed AC. I thought it was AD that transformed to AC too, not until I saw AD campaign posters in 2015 or 2019.

What happened is that Tinubu and his other progressive brothers including Osoba , Lam , Baba Akande are the livewire of the party by that 2007 but the leadership was hijacked by obj led PDP and even the party chairman took up an appointment with obj without consulting the Tinubu group and the party was later factionalized in 3-4 groups to the extent that the party couldn't even sponsor candidates for election at a certain period of time and inorder to save their political future, the Tinubu group registered AC together with the likes of Atiku and other anti Obasanjo elements . Orji kalu moved out of the movement later on to form his own political party like Tinubu.



Tinubu group that moved out of AD to form AC are like 90% of the AD and immediately they left the party ceased to be formidable party again and never won any elective position since that time. Tinubu has been forming his own political parties based on alliances with other political groups so it won't be as if the new entrants are joining his party but he will assure them they are joint stakeholders in the newly established political party. Fashola wouldn't have emerged a governor if they've not registered the AC that time because by that 2007 Obasanjo has successfully influenced different factions in AD and only pro Obj groups are recognized by the INEC so that means any candidates sponsored by the Tinubu group in AD wouldn't have been accepted by the INEC

Failure to obey court orders in an open invitation to lawlessness and by the party's constitution once the chairman is removed the next inline is the deputy national chairman and unless the whole executive committee is disbanded by the NEC you can't just jump the deputy national chairman and appoint the secretary , treasurer or just anybody as the acting chairman while the deputy national chairman is still in office . It's like appointing the Senate President as the acting president while the vice president is still on seat
