Hello Seniors!
Can anyone please tell me the rough estimate(cost) and time frame (expected days of readiness before sending) to process NECO result for WES evaluation.
Thanks!

5000, naira for application (this of course is a new development as application fee was initially 1050 naira), excluding remita/bank charges.

Usually within 5 working days, it should have been processed.

Please ensure that you use a valid courier service company, especially one that has a reliable tracking system to send your application to NECO and from NECO to Canada.

1. Go for Post Graduate Studies(Pgd or Masters), or any added qualifications accepted by IRCC

2. Study French and sit for TEF

3. Are you married if she's much younger, gotten @ graduate with @lest 3 years working experience? let her be the primary applicant.

Thank you so much

Please see the below:

Principal Applicant (PA): if you have a spouse, it will be beneficial as your score may, in fact, be lower than that of your partner. So let your spouse be the PA.
Language: study for and write the French test (TEF).
Education: enrol for a masters' degree.
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP): an alternative is to look at the AIPP

Thank you so much.

Hello house,

Please i need your advise here. What can i do to increase my CRS score to 400 plus as the age factor will likely dim my chances of getting a higher score( I will be 42 in June, 2019)

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree

I have spent 13 years in government service

Can modestly score CLB 9 in IELTS

I do not have a relative in Canada neither have I ever been out of Nigeria

I have no job offer.....

Your suggestions will go a long way in helping me to make an informed decision on this matter.

Thank you.

It's unfortunate how we react to issues in Nigeria. Someone came on NL to describe an abuse....i think empathy demands that you show a level of pity and with understanding, try to advise such person on how to address such an issue should it happen again. But all of una just dey rain abuse on the op...Believe me, i dont see the difference between what the so called 'white men' did to the op and what his/her fellow country men did to him/her in reaction....

The global aviation labour market is heavily saturated at the moment. Too many pilots and no jobs. It's not even a Nigerian thing Only, it's global.

Business / Re: Buying A Land With 600k Or Starting A Business? by justkay: 11:54am On Jul 19, 2018
awelekiti:
I'd advise you start a business first. I wish I had that kind of money when I started my business wink. I didn't even have 400k in my account that time. There is a serious glut in the property market in Nigeria today. You don't want to wait till eternity until the land you're buying appreciates. Do a feasibility study and market survey of the kind of business you intend to enter into. The mistake Nigerian youths make is that, they buy houses and land the moment they have some change in hand. Even though I had money to buy a whole building when I moved my business to a certain level, I still had to plough all I made back into my business and expanded it. The proceeds on my business was what I used to build my first house. Those colleagues of mine who jumped at building houses and buying lands with their little income that was supposed to be their starting Capital are now regretting it because they can only looking those houses in the face. Unfortunately, the house can't vomit the money needed to run their day to day activities . Look for what would sell in automobile industry, telecomms industry, oil and gas industry, healthcare industry, entertainment industry, IT industry, hospitality industry. I know of a guy who used to sell liquid soap to some hotels which they used to wash plates and stuffs. Now, he's a big boy and he started with less than 400k. Agric industry is another good area. I visited a place called Arena in oshodi recently and met some Nigerian ever-busy youths squeezing fruits into sealed bottles and selling it for 200 naira. People throng their kiosk to buy. They'd mix orange juice with pineapple or watermelon juice , all aural for just 200 naira. Good luck to you

We need more people like you on nairaland!

EMAIL 1:
I receive mails but this particular mail that I received came at the right time I faced the same issue.

Dear Fluentinfor,
Please, kindly share with me how you started your business? How did you put together cash when you started? I want to ask for investors on nairaland but my experience with some people put me off. Recently, I was labeled scam and called all sort of names. Please sir, how can one solve this issue?

My Response:
I feel your pain. I will give you tips on getting investors but first, let me share with you my experience.

I met someone wonderful recently. I mean very lovely. I so much appreciate the person and I sent email to the fellow on an issue. I have been nursing the ambition to start a farm in the region this person lives but I could not make up my mind easily. So, I tried asking questions about marketing. What kind of veggie sells there? Who eat this and that? But I was shocked when the whole process became issue of scam. Like why are you contacting me to ask this and that? Honestly, I had a pure heart. I was initially angry but when I sat down and put myself in the position of the person, I understood what happened. Not the fellow's fault at all. In fact, I salute the fellow. And we started getting along well but the issue of trust kept coming back. Honestly, I couldnt deal with it any longer. Having to explain myself everytime, having to assure and reassure of my loyalty was tiring. As wonderful as the working relationship suppose to be, I had to let it go. I had to. Unless trust is re-established, I will not try to make any move towards the person.

The person who rejected you today is still watching. Just keep doing good, and be focused. There may be a turn around soon.

No matter how you distinguish yourself, you still have similarities with others, and even with scammers. The way you talk, your story line, coincidences, etc. No matter how terrible the accusation is, brush it off, and live your life. As long as you know you are legitimate, you have no reason to panic or feel guilty. Continue your good work, and good people who trust you will locate you.

I always say this "Be an entrepreneur first before a farmer" Write out clearly a financial plan for the project, and try to approach people who are interested in Agric.

You may start an interesting thread like my own. You should not worry about it landing on the front page of nairaland. Also, do not get so excited with likes and shares. The purpose of the thread is to put you out there. Opportunities come anytime.

Above all, put God first.

Like you said in one of your posts, trust is an issue in Nigeria, no thanks to the 'get rich quick syndrome' prevalent in the country coupled with peoples' experiences in issues relating to trust. Our psyches have been battered in so many ways that we now have a negative auto-response to even the purest of intentions. However, the honesty of a man will outlast the doubts of a million people in the course of time. Focus, honesty and persistence are children of the same parent. And like you said again "The person who rejected you today is still watching. Just keep doing good, and be focused. There may be a turn around soon."
