If you don't meet enrollment deadline, the school will cancel their sponsorship and ask you to either defer to the next start date or you request refund of any refundable deposit based on the refund policy.

But Feb 3 is a reasonable time so be hopeful and follow up with daily mails and prayers.

I personally believe they encounter technical and administrative challenges which they don't handle well. nothing else explains why a case that has been decided will be hanging for weeks

Your domiciliary account card should work......sometimes the UKVI payment gateway may be showing payment refused. Just give it some time and try again later. I had to try about 8 times with a first bank dollar card before my payment went thru in dec.

Do you know if a dependent can travel before the MA? We have the same issue as a lot of people here. We submitted application for MA (my wife) and 3 dependents (me and 2 kids) and all of us received BRP email by Dec 15th. The dependents passports were returned but the MA is still stuck at DMC, no collection mail yet.

We’ve made paid calls, escalated, send emails, still no passport. The school resumes Jan 16 and the absolute latest to enroll is Feb 3. We’re just hoping this gets resolved before then.

I’m wondering if I can go ahead, figure out the housing situation etc before they join after receiving my wife’s passport or will there be issue for dependent to enter the UK before the MA.

Based on the experience already shared by others that had same issue as you, I advice you go to the TLS where you did your biometrics. Your passport might just be sitting there waiting for you.

Technical and administrative issue might be reason your tracker is still showing DMC.

A decision that has been made since 27th Dec. 2022.

Seriously many cases reported like these seems to suggest administrative or system issues at the UKVI.

Aside from using paid mail or call, there is a complain option on the UK Government website where applicants can submit a complaint about application to the Home office for intervention. Because believe it or not, the contact centre staff just give custom response to inquiries made through paid mail or calls. Just like what applicants see on tracker.

Option 1. if you know someone close with a dollar account with card. Buy dollars from aboki and pay into that account then use the card to pay.

Option 2 ..if the person you contacted is close to you and has enough pounds or dollars to pay you you. Then agree with him or her at what rate you are paying back into their naira account.

Please ensure you deal with only somebody you know and possibly ensure your visa and IHS fee payment is already successful before you transfer naira.equivalent

You can send things like

1. A joint account statement with your spouse showing your address as same

2. A utility bill showing your name and address

3. A doctor's report stating your relationship to your spouse

4. Any other documents you consider relevant that shows your relationship with your spouse.

I heartily congratulate you specially because your case is my exact case. I did Bio on 20th Dec priority. then got empty NSF on Jan 4th. Now I am just patiently waiting for my testimony to be the loudest.

Same here. Bio on the 13th of Dec, Empty NSF on the 28th of Dec. I did a paid mail on the Friday last week, and they told me to follow up on Monday, I did as instructed yesterday and I received a mail that my case has been escalated and I have to wait for 15 working days again.

I am tired but I trust in God. Do you think I should do a paid call?

Just give it say 2-3 work days if no change in status you can do a follow up mail. The call and mail goes to same team so its no wise making further payment since you already made one.

I understand your plight. My case is almost like yours. But just know that your tracker status can change within a few hours. so be expectant any moment. I am too.

I have received the below mail after escalation.

“Having checked your records I can confirm your application is in the final processing stages and a decision will be made soon. Once finalised you will be contacted regarding the return of your passport/visa. Thank you for your patience.”

What does this mean?

it means exactly what it says. Contact centre staff will not divulge the outcome of your application. Once a decision is made you will be contacted and you can also track your application.

have it in mind that if you dont receive a refusal email. then you can be positive on the outcome of your visa application

She got NFS after about a week

She responded the following day with required documents

After about two weeks, she did several paid mials and calls, no decision yet

The last paid mail she did, she was told her case has been escalated that she will be contacted in 15 working days

One of the dependant tried to make a paid mail but kept on getting this below


Please what can the family do?

The school has already resume

means the payment card is not working. Thats the case if it is a naira card.

I suggest they reply on the earlier paid mail made. Once you send a paid email and get a response, you can continue to write UKVI on that email thread by clicking reply to the last message and they will respond. no need for another paid email

The cost of super priority means it is used only by very few persons who can afford it and are in extremely urgent situation.

The service standard for super priority is within 24 hours after biometrics (as long as application is straightforward)

1. 5th when? Dec 2022 or Jan 2023?

2. Also did you pay for priority? if yes. Then it means your visa has been decided and your passport ready for collection.

3. Check on your tracker and see if it is on Received by VAC

hello if you paid fees by form A and request refund because you are not attending, the refund can only be processed back to the bank account from where it originated. In that case you can only receive your money in the original currency which is naira less any administrative charge to your account.

Since you didn't or haven't received any refusal mail. Then expect visa approval. Kindly update the house when you get your collection and BRP mail and pick up your passport

Since it doest carry the account details of the school, you still need an invoice that has that details from the school. Write the school to request their bank details

I keep wondering why UKVI sends an empty NSF and it ends up delaying response time.

It simply indicates that they might be conducting genuineness checks on application documents such as bank statement, employer letters etc. So depends on when those organization respond to their request

Hello there is no factual response. You have received all the best responses. It is on you to decide what to do.

Personally I believe your TB certificate should be valid at the time of your visa application and that was your case. So you don't have to worry.

Also you have been told that people's experiences at POE are different depending on the Border Force or Immigration staff that you encounter.

So if you think you can't to cover against fears, its your decision to do another TB test before traveling.

My dear, your option is to wait and pray. It will turn out successful. Since you are the Student main applicant that has deadline for resumption. Just be patient. Also I assume your MA already has visa and is in the UK already.

The number of working days from Dec 16 to date is about 11. so your wait period is still very normal. If you have not received any NSF, Refusal letter or Interview schedule mail, then you should be hoping for a straightforward decision in the coming days.

How do people book for their flight, I've been trying to book for a Turkish Airlines flight but it seems my visa card can pay in dollars so it keeps failing, even tried with klm still same issue, any advice on what I can do to bypass this annoying obstacle

As long as the airline fee has been quoted in a foreign currency, Nigeria cards currently are not enabled to make payments in forex exchange because of the Forex crises.

So the recommended solution is to either get someone to pay for you with a Dollar card (same way you paid visa and IHS fees) or book with an airline that quotes their fares in Naira.
