You have no problem at all. GRADUATE VISA has nothing to do with your passport. You can use your current BRP as proof of identity and to sign into your UKVI account for the application. The options you will see is Valid Passport, BRP or National ID Card. So your BRP is sufficient. You will download the Immigration App to validate your identity using your smartphone. So relax

Hello for your issue, you seem to have exhausted the allowed card transaction limit on your gtb card hence no other payment is going through successfully. You may need to use a different card to pay the remaining payment. There are usually monthly/quarterly/ annual limits on cards for web transactions. Cheers

Happy New Year to everyone on this group and congratulations to all that have gotten their visas, I hope you all remembered my story i had to reference my last post so people that have not been following can understand.

UKVI really did me dirty, and it really hurt so bad, after 59days of waiting my application finally moved to VAC and i went to tls to pick up my passport to my greatest surprise there was no vignette on my passport.

I spoke with them at ikeja tls they said they have no answer to that, that i should contact ukvi, it’s over 2 weeks i have collected my passport and i have also mailed ukvi and till today ukvi is yet to respond or give me a good reason why i got my passport back with no vignette on it.

I have passed my school late my school late enrollment already.

Mind you i did not get any refusal email, no nsf no interview, my pof is suppose to be 9m i used 12.5m, my visa decision was made on the 14th day after i did my biometric on the 1st of December, i was happy because i thought my application went smoothly.

Here i am still battling with ukvi trying to know why my passport came back with no vignette, everything doesn’t seems right. I have been off all this while, I had to pull myself up to come write this on here for advices and solution to the next line of action.

My biometric date was on 1st of December 2022
No NSF
No Interview
Pof 12.5m instead of 9m
No refusal email
No collection email till today but i have gotten my passport because i checked through the tracker.

Hi, Sorry to read about your experience.

First, I will ask, did you receive a decision email (BRP Mail)? if not, since you have received your passport with any refusal letter sent to you, please ensure your check your SPAM/JUNK folder and if you are the type that delete spam /Junk go and review your DELETED mails folder carefully from the time decision was made till date. I suspect a decision may have been communicated. I had a similar experience when i applied for a visit visa o UK early in 2022. after 3 weeks of expecting decision then, I wrote multiple emails.it was 3 months later they replied me that an email was sent to me informing me that my visa application fee which they earlier received was charged back by the card holder. so they wanted me to pay another fee before they continue my application. they sent this email just 10 days after my application and I never saw it until 3 months time when i checked my spam box and saw it. I later responded and the visa was refused anyway.

So please Xray your mail boxes properly.

I was issued a tuberculosis certificate by IOM. It says no evidence of active pulmonary TB. But it also says chest xray is abnormal. The doctor said my heart is a little larger than normal. But that it's very normal with pregnancy. She said I can use the certificate for my application as it's not related to TB. My questions are;

Does anyone have any experience with this? Can I use the certificate for my application? Also I was given 3 copies. One is a referral letter to my doctor. The other is the TB cert and the 3rd has details of the findings. Please which do I submit among the 2?

My result was exactly like that. Just submit the TB certificate with you application. There is no issue your certificate has stated clearly you have no TB. You may at your convenience consult your doc about the enlarged heart for advice.

Thanks to everyone that answered my enquiry since I joined this platform this month, I finally got my visa this morning glory be to God, see you all in youkay!

Timeline was like this:

Biometrics: 29th December, 2022 priority ikeja
Escalated 6th of January, and 17th of January after hearing nothing at all from UKVI.
Decision mail 22nd with decision made from 19th
Moved to VAC and Collection mail, 26th
Passport collected this with morning with vignette sitting pretty.

Two UK EUSS refusal declared and the most recent one august,2022. No interview, no NSF. God is truly faithful🥺🙏🏾

This UKVI people, I always knew they had technical or Administrative lapses.

After I got a decision letter since 22nd Jan and they finally sent my passport yesterday. This morning they sent me another decision/BRP Letter showing decision was made on 24th . In the first letter decision was made on 19th January. Both letters have different date of expiration of my BRP....

I will carry the two letters go and give them...lol

Lebanon does not require a transit visa. You can go ahead and book as a number of people have reported using the airline in recent times

On 19th at midnight, I decided to write a very angry message to UKVI through paid email where I have been receiving same message that my application is awaiting decision.

Then in the morning of 20th, I got a reply that my record shows decision has been made. Na then I come calm down..lol

As God will have it, this morning at exactly 8:29am, my BRP Email dropped along with that of my dependant partner showing our visas were approved on 19th January.

As you can see from my half way testimony, my application was priority and bio was since Dec 20th.

Now the real deal is this...my course started January 9 and the last date for arrival is 23rd January which is tomorrow.

But I am not afraid because I was updating my school, both the International student Administration team and my course director. And they have extended my arrival date exceptionally.

I expect to get my passport back on or before Wednesday and travel over the weekend.

Yes I did, but I called DMC and the lady told my my visa was just processed yesterday 24th so it will take few days to get to me. Hopefully by Friday as I have to travel on Sunday

Well done for your feed back. when you say you called DMC. is it the regular paid call? or you had some other contact.

My guess is that whatever is delaying the movement of our passport to VAC is happening at the British High Commission (Lagos or Abuja) where the printing is done.

Its unfortunate we don't much we can do other than pray and have faith. my deadline for arrival is Monday 30th January (thats the last extension they agreed for me personally)

How can they process a dependant and leave out main applicant. Dont they check the deadlnes on CAS?

This seem to be the lastest trend. My dependant also go collection mail since yesterday and mine is still at DMC. Deadline is lurking this weekend. UkVI will no seize to amaze us. ...God will touch their heart to move them tomorrow morning...

Please can you confirm how your program advisers contact was gotten… I have been trying to to get In touch with mine. the advisors details are not on the school portal.

My programme Director was the first to contact about why I hadn't registered. Both by call or email.

However most schools have their staff details on their websites including email and phone contacts.

Check the relevant section of your school website. Most likely on the departmental page

you will require a transit visa to use air france. so unless you have a schengen visa or passport of an EU country, USA visa ....you cant use that flight

Dependant visa application submitted Dec 17th

Biometric appointment Dec 20th at Ikeja TLS

Priority service

Application moved to DMC Dec 20th

Application received by DMC Dec 21st

Update.

Sent paid mail after 6th work day without a decision on 31st Dec

UKVI responded on Jan 3rd that's it's awaiting a decision and escalated as target period for priority has passed

Got an NSF today at 10am saying more time is needed to decide my application.

thank you so much. I have escalated since Tuesday and I was told to wait for another 15 working days.

The thing is my school is resuming on 23rd of this month, I just want to know if there is anything I can do to get decision taken faster.

BTW, I have tried paid email many time just not working maybe my card is not pounds enabled. I used both mastercard and visa.

The paid call / Paid email are the alternate ways to contact UKVI customer service for status update. Since you have been calling, You could have asked for an escalation of your case. You can do that by paid email by going through this link below. Note that you need a card that is enabled to pay in pounds for the service.

Write to your school admissions team to confirm if they accept letter from University. Since they have specific requirement from Nigeria students, check well on their website what alternative ways they have to prove English proficiency. ONLY the school can confirm what they accept to meet English requirements.

Mine Stucked at DMC
Did several paid mails sent to different mails available, sent to the home office email no reply from them, but I kept getting wait for 15 working days got it like 3x.
I decided to visit TLS today the queue was crazy I had to sort them and begged b4 I was allowed in because the queue was heavy. I dropped my collection slip even thou it was for courier services the staff came calling my name that its not ready. Well I went to meet another staff and she asked if i have BRP mail and said yes and was told to write down my GWF no i was number 3 on the list she told me they will escalate it. While still at the environment, I did another paid call cos today makes another 15 working days and the lady I spoke to gave me a warm reception and was apologising and promised to escalate immediately and asked for my phone number I gave it to her.
Around 7.17pm a mail came in and it was Document ready for collection mail from.TLS💃💃💃
Exactly 2months 2days after BRP mail.

I will advice you go to the Nigeria Immigration office close to you and request an audience with the Deputy Comptroller in charge of passport. Explain your unique situation and show evidence of your visas

I recon they might issue an emergency travel document for your baby which can serve as passport for the visa application. Nothing is impossible but only the NIS can ascertain this . So pay them a visit

I did a paid call yesterday to UkVI because yesterday was the 10th working day after decision has been made. The agent said I will get my documents by mid week, I told her to be specific and she said Thursday.

I pray it comes as she says because my application is still in DMC this morning. Make una dey pray for me oh, this delay is killing me

Hello,

If you are using your statement, just ensure you have the unspent portion of your balance tuition and living expenses available in addition to your spouse living expenses.

On documents for your spouse ...marriage certificate and other evidence that proof your relationship is infact intact should be included such as

Joint account statement

Family pictures. Before , during and after marriage

Evidence of correspondence between both of you

Etc.

Don't forget her TB certificate

Thanks for all you do, please I have a question, my proof of funds will be ready in 10 days but the daily increase in pound rate is alarming and I fear I might fall short before the 10 days elapse.,just to be on a safe side, I was thinking if it's possible to pay in more funds into the account to keep it from falling short or its that gonna be an issue, please I need advise on this, thanks.

Paying additional funds means you will have to start the count afresh with the new balance you wanna adopt.

If you are too scared about the POF falling short, then you have to option to pay additional tuition deposit and request an updated CAS. Otherwise just keep praying that your current POF balance is not affected by rate increase on oanda.com.

a flexi appointment is sold for 44,000 per person and it allows you go to TLS at any time on the day of your appointment. If you purchased flexi, you will see it on your profile and your appointment time will set to 0.00

TOP URGENT!!! Advice needed:

Please kindly advice, a family of 5 booked a TLS appointments lastweek but later cancelled the appointments for all the 5 and rebooked for another date which is tomorrow. But due to a mistake, one person was booked twice, meaning one out of the 5 still has lastweek date. And this is a family, I won't afford one of them is left out tomorrow.

Please what do they do? Will the TLS do for the ommited child?

Asa family, all of you can go in same date as long as your appointments are flexi irrespective of the individual dates. However, if they are not flexi appointments, you can still try to amend the date for the family member with a different date as long as the biometric date has not reached subject to availability.

Finally, all of you can go and the TLS staff will advise the available option. Just be prepared to pay with your card though.
