Kidah77: 18th Dec. 21th Dec MFB Priority Ikeja Hello, Depending on available time, you can only reapply. Otherwise your best bet will be to defer your admission to next available start term. But avoid using MFBs (Microfinance banks) they are largely inefficient administratively which is why they will hardly respond to external enquiries like from UKVI. It is clearly stated on the Student Visa Guidance that if a bank or financial institution fails to respond to UKVI inquiries about visa applicants, the ECO must refuse the application. Others should please take away the lesson and avoid MFBs for POF on UK visa application. |

danzolla32: What is my offense why no one reply to my concern, what major document do I need to hold at the point of entry.. When you come to the forum, it is important to take time and read the pages. This question has been answered multiple times. with people recently sharing some experience. That said, you are advised to hold your: CAS BRP Letter (hard copy) Updated Statement of account for balance POF / Receipts if you made payment. Evidence of where you will be staying in the UK and be prepared to answer basic questions about your school/course etc. hope that helps |

Kassidy4luv: The issue on my address is whether its LAGOS or OGUN. I live in the boundary between both states. Utility bill has it captured as Lagos, but bank statement has it as Ogun.
That's my concern While this not an issue to worry about. If you want your address to reflect the same across board, the bank will simply require a request letter to correct your address information on your account with evidence of your address which is your utility bill (Electricity, Waste Management bill ) You don't need any affidavit for such purpose. cheers |

sentojames: Happy new year my good people,
The school delay to send me CAS , but the following day I received the CAS, I start POF & my program is starting on the 30th of January in hull. About a month time.
Tb test will be done on 3/1/23 POF will matured on 16 /1/23 How can I Faster the process because of the timeline ?
Your advice & opinion is needed house. Thanks Hello Please confirm with your school the latest date allowed for international student arrival. some schools give 2 to 3 weeks after start date. This is stated on your CAS as last date of resumption. your best bet will be to apply as soon as your POF is ready using priority or super priority if affordable. Also try and get the quickest possible date for biometric by selecting assisted service (as dates tend to be closer under that) Finally ensure to get all your documents right to ensure your application will be straightforward to avoid NSF and processing delay. Hope these helps. regards. |

Please when you make a paid call, when the card details for payment is requested, does it also require OTP ? Or just the card number, expiry date and Security codes are enough?
Thanks for a quick response.

annieberl: Please, who knows where I can buy dollars at 720 or less? Please, abeg. I need 4500 worth of dollars Let me give you a tip that can help you and anyone else looking for dollars. Go to a bank branch where they do a lot of western union transaction ( I recommend First Bank) talk to the western union operator about the dollar amount you want. The banks are not having large dollar bills of 100 and 50 and so they are paying mainly with 1 dollar bills and 20 dollar bills which customers rather not want to take. So instead they credit a dorm account which most don't have or opt to sell it to anyone who has an account. So if you arrange with the bank staff. He or she will help you get the dollars you need as long as you are crediting a dollar account and not taking cash. I bought over 3,500 dollars using the technique. Cheers |

So should we do a paid mail/call or wait it out? Or what’s the process? Thanks
Bio 8th of Dec. I and MA haven’t got any mail yet. Since you just got the empty NSF it means they need more time to review your application. So its okay to wait sometime before making any inquiries. Cheers |

CEZEJUST: Ok. Like I said is my opinion of what I think. I clearly said that.
I also said may which is probably ( I didn't say he will not be cleared)
And lastly I said if he got cleared in any of the port he will not be cleared twice. Which also means there is a probability he will be cleared.
So I don't know what brought my advice are hearsay.
Even the so called experience, my visa was priority in 5 days and my 2 friends priority in 5 days isn't that one an experience?. But here I've read more than 3 people saying they did same priority and didn't get their Visa for more 10 working days.
I guess I should condem them that it's a lie that's is based on hearsay, that priority is 5 days.
Or if anybody should ask how many days is priority I should tell them is 5 days guaranteed, when I read so many people here complaining they're not getting their priority Visa in 5 days. There is no point to argue on. Your given a candid and friendly advice. Respond based on facts as much as possible and avoid giving just your opinion for something that has a definite answer. For instance 1+1=2 your opinion or maybe can't change the answer from 1. People need proper guidance at all times. That is not to say you have not been helping and please continue to do so. just be more mindful. cheers. |

Ochudochukatobi: A lot of people make the mistake of making deposits into their bank accounts prior to visa application; this action is called "Money Lodgement" which is an express ground for visa refusal: Do not naively commit this violation (by depositing lump sums of money into an account which apparently stands in isolation) for presentation purpose. Such account does not meet the requirement of an acceptable bank statement so, applying for a visa with it will only give you a definite result, REFUSAL. This your summation is very wrong. Your account was not opened solely for UK visa purpose. As such you can operate it however you deem fit. If the visa in question is a Visitor visa, you might make some point if it is a salary account being presented. Moreover in visitor visa application, as long as you can explain and justify lump sum deposits, you are good to go. A visa application doesnt mean one cannot operate his /her account anymore cheers |

Michaelkatunge: Hello, please I have a question regarding POF.
My POF was funded on the 29th October, and I want to print from 1st November to 28th November, but on the statement, the first transaction starts from 6th November and it has a narration of "BVN INQUIRY charge".
Will it raise eye brows for UKVI that no transactions happened on the first 5 days , or there's no issue atall. Has anyone faced something similar.
What do you advice, do I print from another date or am I good to go now The account belongs to you. Transactions are normalin accounts so doesnt raise any eyebrows. But why will you be printing a statement ending Nov 28th today December 28th? Thats already against the 31 days rule counting from the end of 28th day in November. Unless you made mistakes in the dates you quoted above, you are out of track |

tyllapia: IHS FEE : $1178.05x755=899,427.75 VISA FEE: $460x755=N347,300 Bank charge 2% of charge= N24,934.6 Priority Visa = 280,000 Vi center = 50,000 Total = N1,601,662.35 I want to forward this payment to my agent Hope I'm good meanwhile he said the IHS Fee was high because my study is 1½year duration hello without prejudice to the dollar conversion rate you have applied. All the fees seem reasonable except the priority fee which is £250 and if converted should be less than 240,000. for instance £250 x N930 = 233,500 So my advice is that you review those fees with him carefully because i am sure you are paying him separately for Agent fee. So he should not exploit you further. cheers |

I would assume the exchange rate and charges will apply when it is in a different currency

Same as other dependants £490
Cheers @Duchess there seems to have been a change. Both I and my dependent paid same amount ($463) for visa fee. I went on the UKVI website to verify that the amount was correct and it was clearly shown as $463 for dependants. The IHS of $898.56 was also the same for a 12 months MSc. Kindly verify to enable you continue to give updated advice to information seekers. Regards |

Pham1234: It’s so unfair that universities asked for your immigration history at the point of issue you cas letter. If this a concern for them they would have asked student to declare previous immigration history during time of application and review if they can take the risk of issue cas letter to the applicant before issuing the applicant admission. It’s unfair that after issuing applicant admission and passing through the rigorous process of the requirement by making sure you meet up with the UkVi requirement you are now left on the decision table on whether to issue cas letter to the applicant or not. This is really sad and very unfair. If prospective students aren’t banned from entry any country or accused of forged/ fake documents. They should be granted cas letter. Because if they refuse them cas letter they still take the administrative fees from the students and that’s so intentional to me.
Where is the time left to apply to other university for January intake. It’s not that they will refund the money to an account in Uk, they still have to send it through the source and that’s gonna take about 1 or 2 months.
At this point I have to start scouting for a good international lawyer. I think you have nothing to worry about, my school also asked me for POF and previous refusals which I declared. They still issued my CAS. Basically what they are interested in the refusal is the reason. If the underlying reason doesn't point to false information or other allegation of fraud. They can't refuse to issue final CAS. Just as UKVI won't deny a visa simply because of previous refusals. This we have seen here daily. Cheers |

Sorry for the enormous questions, I don’t want to make any mistakes so my request don’t get rejected The Branch where you are submitting your documents or your account domiciled branch. Either will suffice. As long as its the bank where you have account. Its your instruction and signature mandate that matters. |

You can however pay with any currency card that is enabled for online payment with adequate limits. So a USD, GBP, EUR or even a CAD debit or credit card should work |

Now I wanna pay my tuition via Form A to this third party company.
Please will it be approved or denied ?
Someone said Form A must only be done directly to the school’s bank account
Hello
If the school's agent account details is reflected on the school fees invoice given to you or on your admission letter under fee payment details, it will be accepted for FORM A . But if the fee invoice is issued by the agent it will be declined.
cheers.
