How to Market Your Products and Services: Proven Strategies to Increase Sales and Grow Your Brand

In this part of building your business, is the marketing aspect and here is where businesses differ in sales at the end of the day.

Like i said in the part 2 of this mini course I will say, I told you that marketing is an industry or a genre or category and advertising is a niche on its own

I also gave examples of niches in the marketing industry which I will also call marketing concepts and here is where it is important to understand marketing very well and what surrounds it

Like i also told you that marketing is about creating an awareness for your products and services for your customers to buy from you eventually and the essence for this, is that THE MORE EYES SEE YOUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, THE MORE THEY GET TO KNOW YOUR BRAND AND WHAT YOU OFFER even if you don't get sales from it yet. The awareness is the first key here.

However it is important to note that it is not enough to do your marketing but that you do it effectively and the only way to get results in marketing your products and services EFFECTIVELY is to know the following:

1. Audience
This helps you to target the right people that are meant for your brand only. Note that you are not sent to everyone. Why, is because not everybody needs your products, talking to everybody is talking to no one.

Your business is suppose to be a voice and not noise. No one listens to noise, not even you. So, it is important to know the right audience that will need your products eg you sell high heels shoes, right?

Who are your audience? Women right? Yes but not all women love high heel shoes 👠

If you come to me and tell me all your ad creative, I won't even budge, why? Because I don't like 👠high heel shoes, but some women, oh my goodness,love it to the 🌕, so such women are your right audience for your high heel shoes products

That means, there is a pattern by which you will need to reach these women and that is to narrow your audience further

What is that high heel shoes work for? For what purpose was it created for? For what or which occasion can it bring the beauty of the women out? Because every product has its problems or pleasure it gives, so you will need to first identify what purpose is that high heel shoe giving to your prospects and that will be your product narrative or story in your marketing campaigns

2. Marketing concepts
These are various marketing ideas that are build into marketing structures that give results of sales in the end and such are

A. social media marketing,
B. Email marketing,
C. content marketing,
D. Copywriting
E. Product/fit launch
F. Synergy
G. Advertising
H. Reverse marketing etc

What is synergy?
Synergy is a marketing concept that integrates two different concepts together and gives a much better result than the single entity of each concept eg our table salt is the synergy of the combination of a sodium ion Na and chlorine ion CL to form the compound reaction called SODIUM CHLORIDE (NACL)

Another example is when you have a text form and a graphic image

These two are different concepts that when you combine them together, it gives more power to your ad copy

If you look at the different images of my ebooks, that is synergy at work

This makes your ad copy catchy and draws people to you

So it is important to know how to combine all these marketing concepts together to give you a hit in your marketing campaigns

Product/fit Concept
This Marketing concept teaches you to first find out if your product is needed in the market before you launch

It is very important because that is where you create products that can sell themselves without you saying much

So, that product in your hands or services, cross check them via Google research or even Facebook research before you start marketing

Do people need this product? Use the keywords of your products to find out eg I searched my ebook title

The Concepts of Marketing and the response was high, meaning people want this and are and have been talking about it throughout the year

I have used this above concept to sell my products and services over and over again and still do

Just recently, I changed the title of one of my business ebooks from 'overcoming business challenges and your self image' to 'what are the Solutions to Business Challenges?'

How was I able to know? I checked the former title and I realized that the questions that people are asking in line with that ebook is different from my own original title, so I picked what was been asked as the title to send my solution to them and it is way so straight forward than the former, because within the new title, lies both the solutions and the challenges all within the title that they are looking for, so my advert addresses that for me to get sales

So in my marketing campaigns, I know who to target and the ebook title speaks of itself

So it is important to first know if your product or service is fit for and in the market

You can't just sell anything, you must know what the market wants and supply it

Reverse marketing
What does this marketing concept means?
It simply means, word of mouth

Really? Hmmm that is the reason it is called reverse meaning which means it will be your customers that will be giving reviews of your services or products to their friends and families and it can be either bad or good

This was why I said yesterday in the 2nd part of this mini course that if your attitude stinks, it will affect your overall business performances as it relates to sales and this is why: reverse marketing

Advertising
This is very crucial when it comes to advertising your products and services out there and I will tell you that if you want your ad to sell, you must focus on these 3 major elements of your products or services

I. Facts of the problems that your products are solving
ii. Figures of I above based on the solutions you are offering specifically, numbers matter in advert. Don't be generic, be specific eg don't say lose weight with this weight loss product, rather say, 'Discover 10 simple steps to lose 20kg in 14 days using Acne Body Lotion product' (Just made this up) but you get the idea, so people get what you are saying at a go

In continuing in helping you build a successful thriving business, I am going to be teaching you based on the beginning of Starting a business to the finishing point and I am going to be beginning with your WHY

Why that is, is because it is what is going to make your business to keep opening even in the midst of challenges that have swallowed and will swallow businesses, so your why of starting that business must be more than the following:

1. You want to make money: Money is the BY-PRODUCT OF A GOOD BUSINESS, not the essence of it.

Warren Buffett said, 'if the primary purpose of your starting a business is to make money, then your business will be POOR. Your why must be higher than that

2. Family business, but you hate it. If you stay in a business that you hate, you won't make a dime, because enthusiasm is a sale catalyst. It is contagious when it is a business that you love, so whether there is sales or not, you open with a big 😀😀 on your face

It is enough for someone to want to buy from you.

3. It is a lucrative business: Every business is lucrative as long as it solves a problem.

4. Others are doing it: This is what has made many to shut down or go down into debts and some into suicide or prison.

You don't go into any business no matter how many are making the 💰. This is where many run into serious problems and they get scammed like going into ponzi schemes as long as many are doing it.

Don't follow the crowd. You are doing forex or crypto and you know nothing about it, unless you have flair for it, you will run at a huge loss.

So what are the key core reasons why you should start a business?

I found three:

1. Passion: very important. You are passionate about the business because there is a genuine reason for it eg I started Jesus Ventures Limited International because God told me too and told me that He has heard the cry of His children and others that aren't making sales and that I should go and help them

I had started some businesses and was making money offline then

So, God gave me all the things I needed to know about business even though I never went to any business school, shocked?

My business is therefore a business ministry that has been existing for the past 12 years. It is all about passion.

Your passion will fuel your excitement even if there is no sales yet. You are excited to tell people about it.

Passion even makes you give out some things or stuff to people to try out and you will give it out for free. I do it from time to time. I still did recently

2. Problem Solving
What problem is your business set to solve? You can't just start a business without that business solving a problem.

This is where you starting a business has to be, beyond money making. Your money is in the problems that you solve.

So, WHAT SPECIFIC PROBLEM IS YOUR BUSINESS SOLVING eg my business solve the problems of sales generation and as it surrounds the total man of struggling entrepreneurs, business owners, startups, Self-employed and marketers

Why I said their total man is because all the sides of an entrepreneur is tied to the business eg if his marriage is in disarray, it will affect the overall performance of the business.

So here I address marriage from time to time to help him make his home a pleasant place for him to live in and thus increase his revenue because he is able to think straight, performing therefore at his peak.

This is where money can't solve all problems because the RICH ALSO CRIES

3. To make the world a better place
So before starting a business, make sure that you think on long term and not short term

Many businesses have shut down because they think on short term, no. If you intend to last more than 5 years in the city of sales, you must think on a long term

Where do you think you and your business will be in the next 5-10 years?

For me I know because when we entered year 2020, I had made a 10 years plan because we ended a decade and started another decade, so I can't run like others

Your long term must be in how to make impact on a global level.

Your business must leave its mark in making the world a better place to be.

This is the reason why you can't start that business on the essence of just money making.

So before starting, ask yourself, 'how can I make the world I am living in a better place?' what problem(s) is my business solving? Am I truly passionate about this business? What makes me happy about this business?'

This is where you identify the problem your business is to solve and you start where you are and shine your light

So before you start a business, consider the above before starting

Your why of starting that business is very important for that is the foundation of any thriving and successful business

What are the Solutions to Business Challenges?

In today's teaching, I am going to be building on what I taught you yesterday on the real purpose of starting a business and what you need to know before you begin.

I can't emphasize it enough, so once you get the core values of starting a business and you have started, you are going to be facing your Challenges because at the beginning, no one knows you because you are trying to build something for yourself and today, I am going to be showing some things that business do face when they just start and the solutions I discovered

Some business challenges include the following
1. Inability to get buying clients
2.. Inability to make sales
3. Location
4. How to effectively market your products and services
5. How to sell
6. How to gain visibility and exposure
7. Getting capital to start a business
8. Starting a business

These are some of the most pressing business challenges that are and that I faced too when I started business and the one most paramount are the ones I will address briefly

You must understand that with technology, you can't slack if your aim is to build a successful business

A thriving business is a business that is doing well in relation to growth and there are three major level of business growths I will say here

1. Arithmetic Growth
This is one is where sales are in trinkets and business is slow and the money coming in takes time
2. Geometric Growth
Here is a multiplication growth where some thousands.of money in 5 figures or six begin to come in
3. Exponential Growth
This is where your business goes Global and you are making money on compound interests that explode nto Making millions and reaching the world and this comes via partnerships with other niches in your industry

You can't just build a conglomerate company over night. You can going to have to learn on how to build step by step to reach there and gracefully, technology has made it possible to go global via the internet, so it is very possible

But to grow at all is to know how to solve the challenges that get your way, one after the other

Remember that your business can grow both offline and online and in each growth expansion, you will be faced with business Challenges, so am going to be taking one growth at a time

What are the solutions to offline business challenges?

🌇 🏬Location
In my city of Ibadan, offline businesses have suffered greatly due to the economy via inflation to the increase in products prices which some businesses couldn't cope to buy anymore and now are scatty

Now if you are from Ibadan and you run your business in Ibadan, then I want you to listen carefully to me

The number challenge is your location

Your products are still needed but the present location you may be, may not need your products any more

You can't just change location any how or look for a shop just anywhere

You are going to do what is called LOCATION SURVEY, where you do a location mapping of your new area

It is what is called Ideal market research and it involves knowing

A. Knowing who your prospects are.
B. What type of people are they? Are they educated or illiterate?
3. What type of jobs do they do? Are they in the first class or middle class or economic class?

These questions will give you an idea whether the people in your area will need your products or services

This is what will determine the allocation that your location will give to you: survey where you are now.

You can't just do business as usual. You need the right people to patronize you

Products
You need to create or sell products that are on demand or products or services that can sell themselves, very important. This is the essence of Solving your number 1 problem based on location

Marketing
Know that marketing is not the same as advertising
If you are advertising, you will be on bill boards, radios, on television etc just to get your products aired but marketing is an industry in itself and a large one that helps you create an awareness of your products and services.

It is one thing to know what marketing is, it is another thing to know a niche within the industry eg digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, Copywriting etc are all niches within the marketing industry

So offline business requires you to know how to use marketing to create an awareness for your business

Offline business has its own advantage of generating sales to strangers but your location is what determines your sales

Do what I told you on location survey and you will be good to go

However, if your attitude stinks, I can assure you that it will affect your business sales and overall performance.

Prospects will move away from you. No one wants aggression towards them. Never ever transfer aggression to your customers.

Nobody wants to know what you are going through, they too have theirs that they are facing.

They just want solutions to their problems that you have and move on.

Remember giants like Blockbuster, Nokia etc who were once dominants and today are no more

Attitude is key too in generating sales in business

Make sure that you give excellent customer services that exceed your customers expectations

The Ultimate Guide to Building your Business from Scratch

This is the time some businesses are going to be flourishing more because they have the road map to the city of sales

The city of sales have routes and the map to the place is CALLED KNOWLEDGE MONETIZATION, which means you are able to use the knowledge you gain to access the city and to trade in the city

Now just because you enter the city of sales, doesn't mean you will make sales. It is the route to at least get you into the city of business opportunities

You will need to look for merchants who are skilled in trading and who are successful in the city

They have been there for awhile and you will meet different kinds
1. The bad
2. The ugly and
3. The good

It is now left for you to gain knowledge before you enter the city

You must also know how to close sales with merchants.

This is where you need to build your own business voice and credibility in this city of sales so that you can establsh yourself in the city and grow to expand

This is where your attitude comes in sales generation and will determine whether you and your business are thrown away from the city of sales or not.

Note that everything am going to be teaching you are practical, proven and tested over the past 12 years of doing active business and since 1999 Sept as a passive business

Breaking Free from Loneliness: Harnessing the Power of Silence to Find Inner Strength"

In my upcoming ebook, I discussed on the power of silence and how to use it to key into inner strength when you feel lonely or you are facing either rejection in your family or Marriage

Like i shared in my previous posts, loneliness if not broken can lead to mental breakdowns and eventual depression and in the end suicide or loss of life and this is the essence why I am teaching this and emphasizing it

I taught you last on how to deal with Loneliness and Depression in marriage using my experiences and today I want to teach you on how to harness the power of silence to break free from loneliness and find inner strength to key to your happiness irrespective of what may be going on.

I use the power of silence a lot as it clears my mind and helps me to connect to my divine self to connect to God to hear God and to be able to maximize my mental prowess to achieve my dreams

Then I found this in the bible where God says, 'Be still and know that I am the Lord '
And here God told Moses to move forward and the red sea parted for them

Again, we see this in Psalms 46:10
'Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth'.

Again, Amos 5:13
'Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.'

This Amos 5:13 gave me a great deliverance this year July against my extended family who conspired with their evil tenants to kill me and I connected it with this in Micah 2:1-3

The comparison with Amos 5:3 was the common phrase 'evil time'

When the righteous rights are taken from them, the bible says that such times are evil and Amos said, those who are prudent (wise, understanding of the times and seasons that they live in) must be SILENT and until you are still, quiet, you won't see the salvation of the Lord

Keeping quiet is not a weakness, in contrast it is power and you will need to harness that power to take over your circumstances and rule it by and through your silence

A silent person is a dangerous Person because you don't know what they want to do or have in store

When you are quiet in the midst of your circumstances, you must seize the quietness your loneliness offers, you must not waste it

Silence helps you think through issues, gives you the opportunity to make concrete positive and precise decisions, that you won't regret, why? Because you took your time to assess the situation on ground

It helps you to research for solutions and to see another angle that you can tackle the issue in front of you

Silence helps you to gather your thoughts and arrange them to find inner peace and strength.

I use my silence to connect to God in prayer and most importantly, feed on His word and then use the rhema given that speaks to my situation

This is where I gather my inner peace and quietness

It gives inner rest and I am able to Focus

One thing I usually also do is to pray for God to empower my silence, turn my silence into 🔥 and oh the results it gave and still gives

In ending this, I am going to be sharing with you a profound teaching that the Holy Spirit taught me on the power of silence that made me appreciate my loneliness the more, because I won't get that Chance again in my entire life!

You get to have your time to yourself since no one wants you. You need to want your own company yourself and concentrate on making you better

In Psalms 19:1-3, it says

[1](To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

[2]Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

[3]There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Now, note the words, they utter speech

The heavens: sun, moon and the stars are alone but they still shine, they are silent but they still speak

Let that sink for a moment. The heavens are all alone in their own world and yet they still speak, they still shine, even though they never uttered a word

Yet in the morning, when the sun shines in your room, it speaks to you in its silence, 'wakey, wakey, it is morning time'

Then you jump up from your 🛏️, 'oh my goodness, it is morning '

You heard the voice of that sun, even though it never physically speaks

Then I realized that my silence is power, even as I write, am using silence with prayers to deal with my community who sent assassins to me in July and right now, are dying

Oh yes, you heard that right and all I do is to be silent and just pray and worship

You have no idea how powerful you are when you use the silence in your solitude

Now you know what to do.

Seize and harness the silence in your solitude and you will achieve more than you could ever think and shine

I am here in my solitude, teaching you, reaching out to you too, to live and live life to the full.

Don't attach your happiness to things, to your family, your kids etc, no, attach your happiness to God and God only and He will make you happy in spite of them all and still helps you to sustain them

No body is perfect, not even you but with God, it is different. Only Him alone is perfect and makes my ways perfect

This was my power in my marriage too: silence and I keep doing what am doing and achieving my dreams

Definitely, he didn't know anything anymore, so I was able to do a lot of things that he knew nothing about, so thinking I had nothing else to offer, he left

Well, it was then, I could execute all those things I had aligned down and got them done because I knew I won't have that time to myself any longer

God is restoring things for me and He is bringing my kids back to me and bringing His son my way to whom I was suppose to marry if I had not chosen for myself

Never ever choose for yourself in marriage, believe me, I learned in a hard way, but I thank God for grace

How to Deal with Loneliness and Depression in Marriage

This topic is very deep and I will be sharing with you my own experience and why I was able to still find peace and fulfillment in my solitude in marriage before he left me to die

Now, the bible says marriage is honorable to all. There is honour in marriage and infidelity is a deep wound in the marriage that God (the author of marriage) hates as we see in Hebrews 13:4 and doesn't take kindly to it.

Proverbs 5-7 spoke at length on the consequences of adultery in marriage.

A peaceful home at the beginning can end in disaster over night as a result of adultery.

Marriage is a sacred covenant act and breaking it leads to death in the end.

We saw this in King David who killed a man for his wife and his beautiful home ended in disaster.

1. The sword has not ended in his linage till date. Israel who comprises his lineage have been at war since God's decree that the sword will not depart from your house forever

2. Amnon heir to the throne raped the step sister, kids that had loved themselves hated each other there after

3. Amnon was killed by the step brother to avenge his sister's rapist.

4. Adonijah another prince died when he did coup de etat against Solomon who happened to be the child that came when David finally married Bathsheba

5. Absalom rose against his father and later died

Solomon too married 700 wives and 300 concubines and later forsook God and when he returned said, vanity upon vanity, all his vanity'

Meaning you see, your looking outside your marriage as an escape from the loneliness and depression will make the matter worse, not better

Don't look for relief, look for peace and fulfillment instead in your loneliness

Turn that loneliness into your sanctuary.

Once you realized that you are not at fault that the rejection from your spouse or the needed support and love that you deserve in the marriage is no More and you have tried everything you can to see how you can improve etc and still does not pay attention or loves you like before, it is time to shift your focus away from him or her.

True love can't be bought and it is time to accept his or her rejection and move on WITH YOUR OWN LIFE.

Adultery or infidelity smells I tell you. If your eyes are well opened, you will see the signs

That is not the time to raise hell against him or her. This is the time to ask your spouse if he or she is seeing someone

Now, they may deny it and it is okay. But you know and it is time to accept it and then create your own sanctuary within the marriage and how do you that?

It might be your room or a study room or your guest room as you withdraw from your spouse

Now, listen carefully. You don't stop your duty in the family.

You need to remove the issue away from your kids as much as you can.

Never you ever transfer your aggression to your kids ever. This is the essence of using your loneliness to build you, grow you and most importantly pray that God shields your home from the attacks of the enemy till you are able to resolve it, very important

Why should you pray that prayer is because, keeping malice is of the flesh and is a spirit. This is why you don't keep malice against your spouse even though you may not be talking. There is a difference

Hatred is a sign of deep malice.

When I don't talk to someone, it means there is no Relationship between us anymore. I have moved on.

What helped me here is my bible.

God said if you reject me, I too will reject you. If you draw nigh to me, I will draw nigh to you. 2 Tim 2:12-13

So, when I saw my ex attitude based on my health, the way I eat, I just withdrew to my own bedroom

When I noticed that just asking for money for tea, yeah was met with I am not taking tea even though he had the money, I got pissed off

Tea of all things. Then it dawned on me, I was working then, just that I wasn't paid yet.

So I told him, 'i will never ask you for money again for the rest of my life!!!' and I never did

I went to my customer and I asked for a tin of Milo and milk and had a satisfaction of my life

When he saw it, he was devastated as I gave some to my kids when they returned from school

Where is my own, he asked. I looked at him with disgust, you have money on you, go and buy yours

Till he left, he never did it again. Lesson learned. 😂😂😂

So, when I saw for instance, that he had money and wouldn't put his money down, I withdrew, so I will hide my own money for myself because I realized he never cared any more

So each time he flirts with women, it never bothered me. I had come to love me

I know who I am. I know what I am and I know what God said about a woman of virue that her price is far above rubies

I built my life to what money can't buy, to what made me priceless

I built my attitude because I know such men don't last.

Men who don't know that marriage is honorable and should be treated with honour, the bible says they die like a beast

So, I chose my path of my dreams, move closer to God and kept my peace

Yes, I still do cook in the house. But the day he became mad that I am not allowing him to enjoy his life in drinking and pleasuring, I knew it was time to make a hard decision and I told him so

So, I stopped cooking if he never puts any money down, but made sure that I take care of my kids and myself

If he can't take care of Himself alone, then that is his own cup of tea and each time he cooks, I don't eat the meal, even if I have nothing to eat, even if it is for a whole day, but at least, the kids eat

He steals from me and when I question why he couldn't ask me before taking my things which he can never tolerate, he will go into a rage and says,' I and my things are his' and I will reply, 'i was never bought. Whatever dowry your parents paid were returned to them by my parents'

Then he will storm out of the house, screaming I will deal with you when am back, I will just burst into laughter

You know what happens when he comes back? His head ie God, would have dealt with him, God is the head of men and this is why as terrible as he was, I still submitted according to scriptures, so God could fight for me

Each time he threatened me, it is either he loses his money he wanted to brag me About or loses his phone or loses his business money

One time like that, that because he was making money then in his forex trading (my online business wasn't making anything yet as it were), he will look me in the eye with the meaning, 'when I make this money, I will deal with you ' and I will reply back through my eyes, 'no problem' and smile.

You see, God was my rock and the bible my power. I had peace

Few minutes later when he left my side, I just heard him cry out, 'ah, his $800 had been reduced to $400, by morning, there was no more money

He had lost thousands upon thousands of money, in the name of I will deal with you

There were times that the kids will be sick and he will tell me that there is nothing wrong with them

I mean a boy with a high fever. he will say, it is a normal temperature

God will tell me, if you don't treat your boy, he will die by morning

So, sometimes even when I have no money, I will use my phone then to make deposits and I will get the drugs and treat my boy.

It was usually three days later that he will know that the kids were truly sick

Do you see why it is important that you stand your ground when your husband walks contrary to the bible?

I pursued my dreams and kept my personal life out of his range and don't bother myself About his personal life anymore

It is his life and you must respect his individuality in the marriage

He doesn't need to give up what he loves best but rather fuels it through you, likewise yourself eg I am a drummer, he fueled that at the beginning and encouraged my drumming and bought a drum set to that effect before he gave all out

As long as what he loves his healthy, don't ask him to give it up and don't give up what you truly love up. He ought to fuel it for you

But if he doesn't, pursue that dream, turn your home into your own sanctuary ie keep it clean. Mould it to your taste.

You see, aggressive husbands are normally tempered by women with fire of God burning in them

So it doesn't matter how much he tries to harm me and look for murder in his eyes, his head who is God, deals with him

I let God, his head deals with him for me, so I can keep my peace and fulfill my dream within the marriage

Believe me, it made me better because I allowed it, submitted according to scriptures

I stopped giving him money, stopped feeding his dreams, I started keeping my money away, everything, so he could not steal anything from me again and I never touched his things

I used divine wisdom to deal with him

Prayer was my deep ally to pour the agony within.

I didn't entertain depression because I had one when I was very young and it took God for me to come out after three days!!!

It was a gross spiritual deep darkness. A deep pit that no drugs can reach I tell you, so rather I use the weapon of praise, prayer and the word of God

Loved me, I appreciated me and I was able to become more than I went in the marriage

Became a CEO of my own company Jesus Ventures Limited International, an inspirational writer/author of now over 40 books and 8 online courses and earning in all currencies

When I went in, into the marriage, I went as a teacher earning in just naira and with limited cooking ideas

By the time I left, I had learnt how to dress better, take care of the house chores better, knew more food recipes and how to earn more online, all because I did what God said

So when he thought I would lose out and i will come begging to come back to him, he was shocked

He never knew it will ever turned out like this, I was free to live my dreams

It was my best decision in my entire life

I had peace like a river and huge fulfillment of my lifetime

Was able to get new things for myself that I could not have when I was with him

I made for the first time in my life, real money online and I still do till today

I was soaring like an eagle dove, free to live and free to dream and I am enjoying my full freedom

My kids? I can't share that one yet until they are fully with me

Yes, I haven't seen them for 8 years now but I am busy preparing a bright future for them

What of my ex?
As I learnt, he is worse now. No more ministry, he is deep now into drinking, womanizing and returned to his old love of smoking that Christ delivered him from and of which there is no return

A dog has gone back to his vomit

Three times he got married and three times they left but I, I stayed for 13 good years

Breaking Free from Loneliness in the Nuclear Family

What is loneliness?
I will like to start from there. Some people ask 'how do I know if I am lonely?'

Being lonely doesn't mean that you stay alone. No. Some people are lonely even in a crowded family or Marriage

Just because people are all around you doesn't mean that you are not alone eg I read on an IG page of a well doing woman who had great followers and serious engagements on the social media, whom you will think everybody loved.

She had contacts with her family too and lived in New York and had a successful business empire there

I mean everything was going well for her and the next thing I saw was that she was complaining of Loneliness

I mean I was like, feeling lonely? How

The next thing I knew, she committed suicide. What? Yes. Suicide because she was feeling lonely.

She jumped from the storey building of her apartment and left a note for her family

A whole lot of thoughts ran through my mind: 'But why? She had everything going for her. Something some are looking for that she had, why threw it away. Feeling lonely? But, but.....'

I couldn't just understand it.

I learnt too of a celebrity who had everything and yet said she is feeling lonely and drank her self to death.

Again, I was like, 'what it's going on here?'

It was then I valued even more what I had with God and knew it is truly time to come out and teach people how to break free from loneliness

I share these stories not to snare or rejoice over these ones but to let you know that just because you provide or give beautiful things to people in your family, doesn't mean they will not feel lonely, if their voice is not heard.

If they are been snared at, silenced and most of all rejected

That is what loneliness is about. That is what makes people feel lonely

I read of a 13 year old rich girl who committed suicide too because she was feeling lonely.

The parents had provided everything you can ever think of and in her letter said, she appreciated them for it, but THEY ARE NOT THERE FOR HER. That she had issues she wanted to tell them but no one was Available.

Everybody was just too busy to even hear her, so why stayed, that things can't feel the vacuum that is in her soul and that was it.

I was like what is a 13 year old had to think of with everything at her disposal and yet thought it fit to take the life she never gave in the first place?

That rich family will never ever be the same again with her loss.

Like i said, the voice of a person in a family is their person.

I have had my share in my growing up where the other siblings will keep pushing me away when I want to stay with them to talk

Words like 'what do you know? What do you want?'

I just want to stay with you guys i will reply and then one of them will push me inside the house, 'go and rest before something happens to you now o'

Nothing will happen. I will reply

I used to have a chronic asthma then and I thanked them for being there especially my mum

In the end, I could not keep up with their attitude any more so i withdrew to myself

Sounding familiar with someone in your family right now?

When someone withdraws, it is because they are being bullied or mocked or shut down or being rejected

What fateful day that sealed this, was when I had grown and their behavior never changed even as I write.

Hmmm, it was shortly after our dad's death in may 2013 and we, as his kids gathered together to discuss his burial

I had resigned from my teaching job due to that chronic asthma which had relapsed again and because I wanted to serve God in full time ministry and told no one when I did

Some of them are still mad at me that I resigned. Hmmm, you don't know your family until you want to go and achieve your dreams that no one has ever done before and then you will see their true colour.

So, on this day, we gathered together to talk about the arrangements of the burial

I had told them that, all hands are not equal and that we can't bring the same thing to the table

I had no money that time and my business was struggling them, ministry I was in had gone south.

The GO was cut with infidelity and the ministry wasn't there anymore

I had just started my company then and it was just one year old

So as we gathered to talk, I brought some ideas we could do up to aid the whole arrangements and which would cost less for the burial

As the first born was on the verge of accepting the idea, the second born just looked me in the eye and said, 'i have no right to bring any ideas to the table, that ONLY PEOPLE WITH MONEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO GIVE IDEAS'

I was shocked and everybody nodded. Well what is there to say.

My eyes were choked with tears and said nothing. I never said anything again since then

But when I got back home to see what they had turned our family house into, my voice had power.

Even now, they have become worse and I had to take over the property from them due to their abuse of their Father's house

How was I able to deal with it?
I withdrew to what I loved most: ELOHIM.

God was my Sanctuary and I always tell him everything that happens to me

Every word they tell me, every shutting down.

Prayer became my way of escape having someone to pour all the grievances, rejection too

Everything I went through, I had God to run too, His Spirit to go too, His word to run too, so they wrapped in their embrace and dried my tears and with every passing day, longed for His presence

I never hated them even till now. But know what?

When they had issues with their lives as we grew, they knew how powerful I had become in God and God punished them for their behavior

See, when you shut down the voice of your kids in your house, some may not know how to run to God, some run to bullies in their school just to fill the loneliness and this is where resentment and hatred boil in the heart of that child against the others

So, as a result, rebellion surfaces in the house. A loving child becomes an overnight evil

It is looking for a way of expression and in the end that child ends in prison or gets worse, gets killed

Then you will realize his or her loss.

You wonder why some kids become bullies in their environment, it is to fight the loneliness eating deep into them and since they don't know how to deal with it, they go into the other way and get cut up even though, they may not like it

How do you deal with this?
Do what I did or look for a purpose and fuel that purpose with your loneliness

You need a way of escape. This is why you need to go after what you love. It doesn't necessarily need to be God. Don't fake it. Put go after your passion. Fuel it. This is how you see people become great in life.

They fueled their loneliness with something. Went on a journey with themselves to protect themselves from the bullies and trash of others.

We see this in the life of Micheal Jordan the NBA Legend.

When you withdraw, don't just get busy, no, being busy, doesn't mean anything, BEING PRODUCTIVE DOES

These are those who have known to use their loneliness to build their dreams, so they are either at their rooms or garage and are busy building something

Those you see who are inventors today or in the past, are mostly those who are the withdrawns in the family

Those whose voices in their families aren't heard and they decided just to belong and say nothing but have their hideouts to talk too

This is where you see them talk to their inventions or talk to themselves so to say and they get a lot done

They keep a lot of secrets of their lives, building their power underground till they are strong enough and they get revenge on their family members or suddenly leave home, after all, what suppose to be home is actually living in hell and they don't want the toxicity

They can have their little family house. They will build their own, build their own house and fortune

Yes, they are not perfect, but they have embraced all of themselves and thus can easily see through the imperfections of others and accept them

They can easily understand the rejected voices of others and help them

This is what we see in the lives of Joseph, David, Gideon and Jephath in the bible

You will call these ones, the outcasts of their families and who later ruled their tribes

That is turning their loneliness around in the midst of their nuclear families

I used to chase after money, until the Holy Spirit stopped me on my tracks and told me, ‘stop going after money, go AFTER WHAT CREATES THE MONEY AND YOU WILL GET ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD ‘ and was it right.

Wealth building requires power because wealth flows in the direction of energy and energy is power

You may now ask me, ‘so what did I found out that creates money?’

Good question. What creates money is where money flows and it has a pattern I

In my last post: Actionable Tips for Building Wealth, I spoke of the 4 ways by which money flows and today, I want to talk about the one on VALUE

What is value?

I believe that we might have heard this spoken so often, give value, give massive value

Have you ever wondered why they kept saying that?

It is because value has a connection with wealth and I will show you

But first, we have to know what is value? Value is when you give something that adds to someone or makes someone richer or better than they were before. It doesn’t matter what it is, people will tend to pay you back for it.

So there we have it.

Value giving can come in form of anything as long as it adds to someone, either by taking pains away from someone or gives pleasure to someoneS

So before you will ask for someone’s hands, first get their heart by rendering valuable services or products that can and will change their lives

Now, there are different types of value

Content value
Assets value
Intrinsic value
Commodity value
These types of values have the power to generate wealth and the question is how?

You see, money in itself has no value ie it only has a purchasing power and nothing more, because it is only a Fiat currency that is produced by the government and can be removed as a legal tender overnight.

This happened in Nigeria in Feb 2023 and we had a great difficulty in getting some naira notes spent because of the rule by the governing body.

This is why, you have to remove your mind from the currency notes to the real deal and what is it? Value Creation

Money even though it doesn’t have value in itself, it represents something and that is Value.

What? Yes. Money represents value, value based on its purchasing power eg there is a level of value that N1,000 note can purchase

However, money represents value in another way, in the sense that money flows to it, meaning, the more value you give out there in all its types, the more money will flow towards your direction

Wow, right? So when you are looking for more money, what are you suppose to do? Give value and don’t just give value, give intrinsic value.

What is intrinsic value? Simply put: added Value

That means, when you give value as I am doing right now, give more in use value that the money that you receive

Yesterday, i taught us about the foundation you needed to lay in your business before it can be successful and what it entails in building your business and today i want to lay on that foundation.
When a building is under construction and the foundation has been laid, the next thing is to start building what gives it form and shape and in this teaching i am going to be giving you 5 PILLARS that can and will aid you in building a form or shape in your business and what are these pillars?

PILLAR 1
FINDING YOUR GENRE IN BUSINESS.
what is a genre? A genre is your business area of expertise where it can best function to operate to generate sales and provide services to your clients.
For instance my company’s genre is in the area of generating sales and profits for businesses across the globe and helping their TOTAL MAN to be a success; meaning i provide services to clients’ spirit, soul and body via my business, marketing, inspirational and motivational materials and products.
This has enabled me to focus on ONE MAJOR MISSION with 7 brands of operation to make my genre successful.

You need to know your area of expertise before you can even say you should start your business, because this will save you a lot of confusion on what you are to offer and who your clients should probably be.
Knowing your genre will help you to know and identify your ideal clients easily and quickly, and then be able to connect with them and know what their pain points are, thus knowing the kind of products or services that will solve their problems for them, thereby generating sales and profits easily for yourself because you know what works easily for your clients.

Now the following are the genres that are available and you can make success from them and many years to come are still viable.
Genres can also mean Niches i.e. area of needs of people.

You may ask, ‘How can I know my particular genre?’ Locate it via your passion and the kind of problem your business is designed to solve

PILLAR 2
CREATING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT SELL THEMSELVES.
In building this structure, you need to know the essence of creating products and services that can sell themselves and that is for you to be able to IDENTIFY SPECIFICALLY WHAT PEOPLE NEED AND NOT TO GENERALIZE IT.
When I started out in business, I never thoroughly understood this. What was my guide rule was that whatever helped me will also help people in my shoes. What I have that helped solve my business problems will definitely solve people in my category as well and I was right. Yes I sold.

However, as I learnt better ways to do business and to generate sales faster, I realized that people are NOT SEARCHING FOR MY PRODUCTS BUT ARE LOOKING FOR SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS THAT CAN SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS.
It was then I realized that if my products and services do have the solutions that they are looking for, then the more they will be motivated enough to buy without me saying much about it and it worked.
Now i have referrals and sales without much advert..
Eben Pagan said, ‘If you speak too much about your products or services, it means that they are not good.[i][/i]’

PILLAR 3
CREATING YOUR BRAND IN BUSINESS.
I believe that you have an idea about what branding is all about, so i won't be talking much about it.
However, i have this to say on branding.
By definition, what is branding?
It is how you package yourself and your business to the outside world. It is also what you are known for or what you represent or represents you.
For example, your name, your business name, your logo, your personal and business profile, your offerings, products and services etc all embedded in what is known as BRANDING.
This is what makes your business to be known for what it is and what it represents so that anywhere it surfaces, it will easily be recognized as part of your business.

For instance, any time anyone hears your name, what does it represents in their minds? That is your branding.
For instance, hearing the name Bill Gates denote Microsoft, Steve Jobs, Apple Inc. This means that your name, your logo, your mission statement, products and services are all interwoven into your branding.
So when you want to brand your business, you need to first identify what you want it to represent and be known for. That is the beginning.
Next, your personality. What kind of picture are you portraying for your business? You think it doesn’t matter? Of course, it does.
People who patronized me on the social media first checked my profile first before they decided that I could be trusted.
Before you brand your business, first brand yourself, then your business can come later.

PILLAR 4
IDENTIFYING YOUR CLIENTS
In this building structure, Once you have branded yourself and your business, it is time to IDENTIFY the real people who actually need your business, your products and services.
To identify them is to first know what your business assignment is. This is known as your MISSION STATEMENT.
What is the purpose of this? It is to give you a focus, aim and target of what you want to accomplish. This is the ONLY way that you can measure your success in your business and results as well.
So once you have identified your mission statement, your mission will show you who are in need of your services.
To identify your clients is to first categorize them, then narrow further to SPECIFIC PEOPLE who can’t do without your products or services. This is the way to identify your clients.
For instance, let's say you will like to promote a Toning Cream for Women, How do you promote it? Will you just advertise to them? You are Wrong!
what? yep! women are the GENERIC AUDIENCE AND NOT THE REAL AUDIENCE! There is a difference. want to know?
There are some women, who DON'T NEED TO TONE THEIR SKIN. So you advertize to them even though they are women, they will look the other way. They won't even read your advert talk less of clicking your advert page!

what to do?
Use the method known as the ASK METHOD OR SEGMENTATION METHOD.
What does this mean?
It means the asking of RIGHT QUESTIONS that draw their needs out.
1. First join and identify your generic audience and that is by joining the group of women
2. Then build a rapport with them, let them know YOU!
3. When you have done 2, proceed with the method.
This way you will draw the people who ACTUALLY NEED YOUR TONING CREAM OUT of the crowd.

PILLAR 5
CONNECTING WITH YOUR CLIENTS.
In building this structure , you need to identify your CORE AND REAL IDEAL CLIENTS as I have explained to you in details earlier, now it is time to connect with them. Why do you need to connect with them? This is because without connecting with them, you can never sell your products or services to them. People hate to be sold out to, so your best choice is to bond with your customers or clients, this way they will know that you care enough to help them and to know what hails them.
So the question arises ‘How then do I connect with my clients?’ Good question.
1. You need to identify the following of your clients:
a. what is their biggest stressor?
b. what is their biggest dream?
c. where are they lacking confidence?
d. what is their biggest fear?
e. where are they lacking clarity?
f. what is their biggest frustration? etc
Why should you know all these? It is because if you say you are the solution to you Ideal Client's biggest problem in business or life and you are not solving their problems, they will find someone who can.
This is the reason why you need to first define with laser accuracy, what is your Ideal Client's biggest problem to be able to connect with them to solve their biggest problems for them to be attracted to what you have to offer them. This is the reason why you need to know all these facts that trouble your client.

2. know how to effectively communicate with your clients. ‘How do you communicate with your clients?’
Do the following:
i. Begin with a bang. Let your headline be catchy and use high emotional value words to do it.
ii. Simplify what you say.
iii. Be concrete and specific.
iv. Go straight to what you want them to do exactly and take them from what to how.
v. Use a conversational tone.
vi. Tell stories. This helps them to relate faster with your products and services.
vii. Build a rapport or a cordial relationship.

3. Another way to connect with your clients is to hit their emotional buttons. ‘How do I now hit that emotional button?’ you may ask.
Here is what Osinski says and does: Osinki is a sales expert and says he lays out an exercise he uses with his students to illustrate the sales concept called the hot button. Standing in front of the class, he holds up a water bottle he says is for sale. For each student who offers to purchase it, he asks them what their reason is for buying. “It’s recyclable,” one says. “I’m thirsty,” says another. “It’s an attractive bottle,” a third. The different reasons individuals have for buying the same product or service are their hot buttons, also known as their pain points—and it’s every salesman’s mission to uncover it.’

These are the ways you connect with your clients. This way your products or services can meet their needs and you make your money effortlessly since your products or services are products and services that meet their needs thus selling themselves.

So, in continuation of my teaching on the phases of building a business, i am teaching on the proper layout known as the FOUNDATION.

Now the beginning of anything is VERY IMPORTANT because it is what carries the structure of the building and so how you lay the foundation matters and determines the durability and longevity of your business. So in building a strong foundation, you need to use strong materials that can withstand the storms or challenges that blow on that building.
This is why Civil Engineers use quarry stones with other materials as the laying foundation of a building. Now for easier understanding, i will use the term 'QUARRY STONES' to define the following that should be and must be in the foundation of your business.

QUARRY STONE 1.
Avoid Making Mistakes in Your Business.
Now mistakes are bound to happen, however, there are some mistakes that you should NEVER make as an entrepreneur. Examples
1. Never borrow to start your business. That is bad debt. start with what you have to avoid financial pressure. You do, you have began your business at a loss. DON'T DO IT!
2. Never outshoot your budget. Go within your means and start.
3. Never invest into what you don't fully understand. You will run at a loss. Dwell within your center of competence.
4. Never sell on the platform of lies. it destroys your credibility.

To do this, you need to
1. use what you have on ground that can solve people's problems. You don't have, create one.
2. partner with successful marketing agencies that already a huge existing customer base. plug into their buying clients and generate your needed money.This is how i generate my cash flow in my business. .

Perseverance and consistency have been the 2 forces that have differentiated success from failures.
The Building process is tough, but if you allow it and go through it, it will make you.
The building process is like baking a cake, if that cake is removed untimely, it will be half-baked and NOT many will like it.
But if it withstands the heat and its fully baked, then even kings will partake of the same.

The building process is also likened to a fire which can both destroy or give warmth or refines.
Gold, silver and bronze don't get destroyed in the fire, they get refined, they get better.
However, materials made with hay, straw get destroyed.

my point? turn your adversities around and continue building.
Give yourself time to grow, to stretch.
a rubber band that is NOT stretched is never useful. Never fulfils purpose.

stay in the heat, stay in the fire. it won't destroy you, it will make you.
see what you will be, enjoy, impact from that business in many years to come.
it will NEVER HAPPEN if you don't continue building.
You may cry, yes, cry, but don't stop building.
You may be mocked, laughed at, prejudiced, not wanted because of your business, yes, accept it and go through it but DON'T EVER STOP BUILDING.

For a day will come and you look back to what you've been through and to what you've become and say, 'IT WAS WORTH IT AFTER ALL!'

if not? why not? You have tried but failed? I brought you good news. Not anymore. Really? I have been generating sales and leads onthe social media again and again and i have come to share my secrets with you to get you started.
So how do you generate sales and leads on the social media?
First you need to know what the Social Media IS NOT. This will help you to fine tune your marketing strategy for effective results.
so what is the social media not? It is not a media where you just broadcast your advert everywhere and think people will just start buying. It is not going to happen at least not anymore. we are dealing with people here and for you to get around this, you need to first get to know people and build rapport and relationship with them. This way you can get sales and sales over and over again.
then you don't private message people with your business opportunity. Then what do you do? BE AN AUTHORITY IN YOUR FIELD OF EXPERTISE IN YOUR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY and when people need your help, you will be the first person people would like to contact.
This is a slow process, but believe me, it is very EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE. In the process of looking for fast sales we lose a long term sales via this.
For years, i never made sales on the social media until i learnt what worked and did not work and everything changed.
so what are my discoveries in making sales and leads on the social media then?
Do the following:
1. Start by creating an account on the different social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram etc. Never
have more than one account. If by any means, open a group or create a business page.
2. Use the social media to create an approachable persona that encourages people to contact you and follow through when they reach out. This is where your personal profile page is very important.
3. Refer people to your blog where a deeper conversation can take place. Create pages for each program that you are doing on your blog. Make the content rich and update it as well.
4. Build relationship with your audience. This will enable you to connect on a deeper level.
5. Identify your Ideal Client’s struggle or fear or stress. This will determine the EXACT pain point you are to solve.
6. Do not private message anyone rather be an authority and share insights that can help solve your Ideal Client’s problems thus they will be able to connect with you when they need help. This is where your opening sales and signups lie. This is where I generate my sales and sign ups from.
7. Have a clear call to action on your blog so people can do something when they get there.
8. Put your contact information everywhere on your blog, basic but often ignored. This way people can easily associate with you and thus contact you.
9. Post often and keep posting. Let your post be 80-95% information and the remaining 20-5% promotional. This principle is known as the 80/20 Rule or principle. You are competing with other businesses on the social media, most concentrate on promotional. You must have a cutting edge.
10. Understand what each social media is and what their offerings are. We have different social media out there and each social media stands as its own entity. Facebook is different from twitter and so with LinkedIn and Pinterest etc. If you mix them up, you will lose out and that BIG TIME. Twitter just gives you 140 characters to post, meaning they don't want you to talk much. short words are their concern. You don't know how to convey your words in 140 characters, you lose.
What of Pinterest? Pinterest tells you, 'hey we don't need words here.There are many already out there. we just need your words in pictures. Can you do that for us?' what do you do? This is the essence why understanding the social media is so so important. with Pinterest, you can garner their audience this way and swoop sales for yourself.

As i researched, i discovered that marketing has concepts too.
In fact, every profession in the world has concepts.

The question arises, what is a concept?
A Concept is an abstract entity designed to make an idea work.
it is abstract thing not seen physically save with the eyes of the mind.
it is also a design, a pattern, a structure laid down to make an idea function to work.
it is NOT a concept unless there is a design.
For instance, what idea would you use to increase your sales via your products and services or to market your products and services? on what platform will that idea work?
To make that idea work, you need to pen down a plan, a structure that will set it up.
one way is to own a sales report to evaluate or monitor your progress.
Another way is to have a mission statement.
From the above ideas, sales report and mission statement are called Business Concepts. Platforms on which that idea can work. Get it now?
what concepts are you presently using to grow your business?
My point? Before setting up to do business this month, you must be conversant with the concepts operative in your business.
You must also be conversant with the marketing concepts that operate which can assist you to dominate the market.
These marketing concepts will give you the various designs by which your marketing ideas or campaigns will work.
For example, in marketing, there is a concept known as Product/market fit.
what does it mean?
it is a design that teaches you to identify or create or search for the market first for your product, before you launch out into the market.
