Good morning and how was your night?
Hope you woke up on the right side of the bed.
Today, i want to share something with you that changed my life completely.
what was it?
it is the power to turn my ideas into realities.
i began to explore the powers of my mind just last year because i believe there is more to it.
we all have dreams, but the truth is how many of us have turned those dreams into realities?
Many have died with their dreams buried with them.

what have been your dreams since the 1st half of the year? have you been able to achieve them?

The month is about to come to an end, have you been able to realize your dreams?

i've found these to be very helpful:
1. understand the power of imagination.
imagination is at the seat of the mind.
Dreams begin or are birth from here.

2. Make realistic goals. Dreams will Not fulfill themselves unless you set them in motion.
Your goals set your dreams in motion.
Make sure that they are reasonable, measurable and realistic.
Set both long term and short term goals and put a time frame on it. e.g don't say my dream is to be a multi millionnaire in the next 30 days and your earnings are 10k in a month. lol. You are deceiving yourself and you will enter into the hands of scammers and your dream will be gone.

Rather say, in the next 5 years, i want to be a multi millionaire, now that is measurable.
Being a millionaire is NOT going to happen over night.
There lies your effort, learning and setting good qualities in motion e.g patience, perseverance and determination.
3. Planning: when you've set numbers 1 and 2 in place, you need to set those goals into plans.
How do you plan to achieve them?
set those plans in writing.
Those who write their plans down, usually achieve them.
4. Take actions: You see without actions, your dreams can never materialize.
Action is the pivot by which your dreams or ideas become a reality.
it does not matter how stupid it may look, take the step.
confront your fear and take the leap, believe me, there is victory ahead of you.
Take that action NOW!
5. Build your building block: Every dream is like the building of a house.
You've put it in paper, set the above in place, to FORM A STRUCTURE.
Your mind MUST picture the structure of your idea to help you fulfill it.
6. Take concrete decisions: This is where we fail most: taking decisions, especially hard ones.
You need to decide what you want.
Anthony Robbins said, 'Decision is the POWER that sparks the process of turning invisible (ideas) to the visible. True decision are the catalyst for turning our dreams into reality'.
Take that decision, only you can make that happen.
7. Let loose your imagination. Don't stifle it.

There are laws that govern selling and if you do not know these laws, you won't make sales.
You must realize that without selling something, you can never make sales.
Ever since i learnt how to sell, i've never fail to sell my products and services.
You must also know that your selling power= your sales power.
So how do i sell then?
Do the following:
1. First identify what to sell. Not ALL products have the potential to sell.
you must identify products that are needed, valuable and of good quality.
2. Your business must have a mission statement; The purpose for its existence, for that is where your location, buyers are.
3. Your product must be a problem solving one.
4. Never sell a product on the platform of lies. it can make you lose your reputation and credibility.
5. Never sell a product that your customer does not need.
6. Let your product be affordable.
7. Never sell a product that you can never buy yourself.
8. Never over promise and under deliver. do the opposite instead. under promise, but over deliver. it fulfills the law of reciprocity.
9. Be a master of words and lastly,
Be a man or woman of persuasion.

So, How do you generate sales in business?
1. Survey your location. Not every location is good for business.
First identify whether your location NEEDS your product or service.
Don't just get any shop you see. SURVEY FIRST.
2. Identify your targeted audience.
Not EVERYBODY is your customer. You are not sent to everybody.
So, how would you know? it is found in number 3.
3. Your product must solve problems. It is the problem that your product solves that will determine your buyers.
what problems do your products or services solve? Those are your targeted audiences.
4. Your Branding: This entails your packaging. How attractive is it? Build your packaging to your taste.
5. Owning a Marketing Sheet: what does this mean?
it is simply means owning or having a sales report.
This is where you document your monthly and yearly sales.
Your monthly chart will have your daily and weekly incoming sales.
You need this to monitor your progress daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
6. Before launching any product, first see whether a market already exists for it.
In marketing it is known as the Product/ Market Fit.
7. Your Customer's Experience. This is very very vital.
This is the CORE of your business.
You need to know HOW TO CONNECT with your customers, for that is the ONLY WAY you can build trust, integrity and credibility.
8. Advertisement.
Now, this is huge. Advertisement has advanced beyond the way it used to be.
For instance, $1.4 billion are generated on the web everyday and HOW you advertise there matters.
Recently, i discovered the word Synergy.
Synergy is a combination of two or more things together that gives an excellent result than when each component works alone.
it is a huge topic on its own and am already finishing my book on it.

Now, to have true synergy, you CANNOT COMBINE TRADITIONAL / TV Ads with Online advert. it will never work.
You need to operate each marketing methods on its own.

9. Your Investment Niche.
What is a niche? a niche is the habitat that an organism carve for itself within its ecosystem.
You must create yours.
it is NOT everything that you invest into or you will massively lose money.
Warren Buffett said, 'THE NUMBER 1 RULE IN MAKING WEALTH IS NOT TO LOSE MONEY!'

Hmmm. This is a very heavy topic. so many homes have been wrecked because of it. couples have hated themselves because of it.

Good deeds that ought to be done to enhance love in the home as been thrown into the wind because of it.

This affects both parties and it is to the two parties is my word come today.
Hmm. i'll start with our women. Am not here to batter your homes but to bring healing. there are so much hurts that we are hidden under.

Hmmm. As a man, in the house, as our heads. how many of you really appreciate what our wives do for you at home.bearing in mind our duties in the home?

i know some of you will say, is it not her duty in the first place, so what is my own business about it? i know, am not disputing it either. but, have ever discovered that woman behind those duties?

do you know the heat she faces doing those duties? when you come home and meet lapses, don't you come raging against her soul like a lion? tired soul?

i wish you knew what it means to bear so many responsibilities together and that all at once?

As we prepare your meal, your kids come at that time screaming for attention as well. hmmm. the little one we just had for you is screaming at the top of its lungs for mummy.

As she picks this to do in the home, all these call for her attention, which are so important than the very chores in the home. When all is attended too, she is left with so little time to attend to the rest and exhausted, she managed to do the little she could.

Exhausted.she decided to leave it and rest to face it later. then you came home and saw those lapses. what do you do that tired soul? tear her down?

Understanding that gender is what brings gratefulness and you wonder why you are not blessed. see 1st pet3:7.

Some may be disgusted, rages against her. Even in her business, no gratitude for supporting YOU in YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY.

Don't tell me, is it not part of her duties? the answer is NO!sireeee. to pay for house rent, children school fees, utility bills, feeding in the house, leading devotion in the house,hmmm? no sir.

Those are your duties. we are to help. you carry those duties 98% then, we help with the rest and you know what? on top of that, some women still go out there to do it for you and what do you do to her lapses in the home? Slaps, tearing,hmm. FOR ONCE MAN, APPRECIATE THAT WOMAN!

Tired, some men come against their wives beating them like punching bags, because of her lapses. she rises every morning looking for how and way to balance her time for her business with her duties in the home

she wants to be the perfect bride, the perfect wife. oh, how she wishes it. but being mortal she couldn't. inside, she is weary, tired, crying, yearning for your understanding when those lapses come up.but what do you do, like a task master, you command her to rise and do those duties even though famished, tired she feels.

Every woman always loves to work out our lapses in the home. but the truth is, WE NEED YOU. WE CAN'T JUST DO IT ALONE, WITHOUT YOU! without your love, without your understanding.

A divorced man rarely makes impact than a divorced woman, i made my research so well.

I have a mother in the Lord whose husband does all the aforementioned bad things above and more to her. when she left him, the husband died 5 years after she left. That woman is still alive at 70!

hmm,Appreciate your wife. i wish you knew the agony we go through when we carry your baby for you for those 9 months.

The life and death we experience at the labour room. i wish you were there. oh, it is the good news they give you. did you know the pain?

The day i went through mine, my mother became a more treasured possession to me and i told her so. Thanking her for all her labour over me and my siblings.

Oh, i know, some women can be terrible! i know. but have you ever know what the power of love does to a woman if wielded against her, hmmm?

you will be amazed about the change it so so so brings.

The window of heaven for your long awaited breakthrough is in your love and understanding for that woman, you have called a witch. you know what she had been through for you.

MAN, FOR ONCE BE GRATEFUL, APPRECIATE HER, HELP HER. SHE IS YOUR GLORY!

To you women, therefore i call. sorry to say, some of you are terrible. and that has to change .

Why frustrate your spouse's love for you,? some of you even throw things at him. how awesome.

He does some of your duties for you and because he gives you little money for the house keep and you know that when he has, he gives to you like fish, takes care of the house for you, assists you.

He gave you what he had. he has strength and he gave it to you, so that you can function well in the office bringing you thousands every month.

To be the responsible man, he is, he gave you what he had, N200 to add to the one you already have.

What do you do to him, throw the N200 at him and call him all manners of names,? WAKE UP WOMAN. THAT IS A TREASURE IN YOUR HOUSE.......E.... WAKE UP!

bend that knee in appreciation. It may not be all the time. That man is rare. Taking care of the house, kids and what he wants to do for you.

some are even so nice....e. and warm. hmmm i know. They will have even cook for you before your arrival.

No wonder some of them say, we take them for granted, it is your kind of women who let them say so. it is not all women that are like that.

And what do you do in return, because he didn't go to school or because he has nothing in hand for now and you blast that guy, and he just looks at you and smiles? haaaaaa. you are in it for it, woman.

IT IS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY, WAKE UP. THAT IS HIS LOVE FOR YOU IN ACTION.

DON'T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED! DON'T PUSH THAT MAN TO THE WALL.

THE CONSEQUENCES ARE NOT TOO GOOD. YOU ARE ALREADY GOING THROUGH A LOT THAN ADDING TO IT. WHAT DO YOU WANT?

Appreciate that man. encourage him. help him. be there for him.

Remember, WOMEN WHO BEND THE KNEE ARE THOSE WHO STANDS BEFORE MEN

We need wisdom to deal with them. stop fighting your spouse. MEN ARE PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY STRONGER THAN US

IT TAKES DIVINE WISDOM TO DEAL WITH THEM. BE WISE.

In rounding off, the bottom line of the matter. BE THERE FOR YOUR SPOUSE, LOVE HIM/ HER AND APPRECIATE HIM/HER.

COMPLEMENT ONE ANOTHER, APPRECIATE ONE ANOTHER'S GIFTS AND BUSINESSES.

NO MATTER HOW SMALL IT MAY BE BRINGING. NEVER DESPISE SMALL THINGS. FOR WHAT YOU DON'T APPRECIATE, SOON DEPRECIATES

I welcome all my business nairalanders, a very warm happy new yr. How was our sales last year? Made a handsome sales? Terrific. Couldn't make much. Don't worry. This is another year to start afresh. You need adequate information to get started this year. So, are you into marketing? Couldn't sell well last year? Met with the rejection look every where you go? You must have a plan and work towards it. You must desire something in the establishment that you are marketing for. Vision is a powerful tool in marketing. It has aided many marketers to climb the ladder to the top. Be focused. It swallows rejection mentality from you. I had an opportunity to sell an insurance package for an insurance company some years ago. I was met with a lot of no, but, i didn't let it disway me, because i studied the steps of making excellent sales in marketing. I had the detailed knowledge of what i was selling, without much reference to my manual. I had a focus of becoming a top sales executive and i worked towards it. At every rejection point, i learnt to put on a smile. I activated my plan and purpose for every of my prospect. I did them on what i called MY VISION BOARD. There, i master minded which product was meant for who, since i dealt with a multiple package. I was able to insure prominent individuals. I made sure that the package delivered what it promised. Before i left for another appointment, i left a stream of prospects for the company to work with and arrears of commission, i couldn't wait to collect. I couldn't reach the goal i set for myself due to the new appointment, but i did succeed in the company. Face your rejection and smile. Hello my dear fellow business nairalanders, merry xmas and a prosperous and fulfilling new year. I know you would have been counting scores for the year. How was your sales this year? Hope you'd a booming sale. And if your sale had been on the edge, never worry, what am about to teach you, will help you tremendously in the coming year. Recently, i'd an opportunity to sell a book, and through the principles am about to share with you, i made N100,000. At least, i made N11,000 in a week. Amazing? It is true. What were the principles, i used? 1. Get Information. Before you start on any marketing sales, first, go for information. What is the product all about? Does it have any value for people? What will people benefit from it? Can i buy the product myself? You see, if you don't go for information and ask the above questions, all your efforts will yield no result. 2. Passion. You must have passion for what you're selling. Four things are communicating tools in marketing: Your Mind, Your Face, Your Voice and Your Body. Your passion must reflect in these four communicating tools, if it must work for you. Your mind, shows you what to say. Your face, voice and body show how you say it. To be frank with you, not all marketers smile while selling. When you've passion for something, you won't receive a no for an answer. You'll be at your best game, with all smiles. Be passionate. It helps you to move on in the times of difficulty. 3. Never Sell Your Product, On Lies. Many marketers believe that if they tell a lie, to sell a product, they will make great profit. But they deceive themselves. The profit they make will be short lived. People will get to know later and that's the end of the business. Let your product deliver what it promises to its customers. Give value for money received, that will make people want to buy more. 4. Package Yourself Well. Dress well. Dress executively. You sell yourself first, through your dressing. Every where i go, people attend to me well. They thought i was working in a bank! Dress well, its very important in marketing. 5. Learn How To Handle Rejection. It will surely happen. Every marketer experience this, one way or the other. You must learn how to handle yours too. Do it with a smile. It is what spell either success or failure for you in marketing. This is the area, where many made it or gave up. Don't give up. Just b'cos, someone said no, doesn't mean that many will not say yes, if you persist. Many more to come. Stay tuned.

In the first and second part of this topic, i made mention of the ff points to maximise the brain: 1. Research which is through Reading. 2. By Exercise. 3. Through the choice of friends that you make. They have the power to influence how you think. Today, i want to add to the list. 4 You Must Avoid Stress. Why? The brain, does not work best in a stress environment. Those who are into creativity, knows this. Creative ideas are born when the mind is in a relaxed state. When you are stressed, the powers of your mind are really shut down. Let your mind relax, after a hard day's work. That way, you are relaxed to think through issues. 5. Quietness And Separateness. This is what enhances mental productivity. Our brain work best, when the environment is quiet. This works best in the night. Every invention man has ever made came in the nite. Every successful business venture you see, rose on that platform. You must carve out time to be separate to think through issues. Through this means of separateness, you receive direction to life issues. You won't get anywhere with your study, if where you are is noisy. Anything great today has required separation and quietness for it to function. So, no dream is ever born without it. 6. Meditation. This is the pivot to maximising the brain. What is meditation? Meditation is the ability to think deeply, to ruminate over issues. It means indepth thinking. This is where inspiration is carved and born. Daniel was a prominent politician in his days, yet he excelled all his contemporaries through wisdom which is birth through meditation. Everything in life is attached to having wisdom. Your result in life is hung on it. Secrets or ideas are laid bare in the place of meditation. You must carve out time to engage your mind in meditation. 7. The usage of the Night Season. This is my favourite part. I love it. Its effect is powerful. Like i said, you work best when it is quiet. Quietness is found in the night. Your speech of the day is birth in the multitude of the knowledge of your night season. MKO Abiola of blessed memory, used this means to rise in business. It was said that he wakes up at 2a.m and works till 5a.m. The rich realizes this law and utilize this tool greatly. If you're ever going to amount to anything in your life, then you better put your night season to work. Its your edge over others. Utilize it. Every great invention we see today, was conceived in the night. I will say this to you through E.W.Kenyon. He said, 'form habits of study. Habits of Industry. Learn to save the moments. The hours will take care of themselves. Drive your mind. Become an absolute slave driver over your own faculties. They are your slaves, your servants. Make them work. Make them study. Make them develop. Kill laziness and that droning habit of dreaming. Transform it into vital energy. Set the dynamic of a tremendous purpose loose inside you. Make your time, your wealth. Carve out of everyday that which spells success for tomorrow. Make yourself worthwhile. Make yourself so attractive, so vitally attractive that men will hunt after you'. And this can only come through the use of your brain. TOWARDS MENTAL EXCELLENCE BY OLUFOLAKE STEPHEN ADAMS

You don't have to lobby your destiny on the laps of deceitful men. They will take your innocence and throw you into the trash can. You are like a trophy won. You are like a battle conquered to them. Some of them are heartless, making you hear all manner of sweet false words, mean while, all they want is to have you in bed, but, not wanting to have anything to do with your person. Emotionally, a woman is weak. We get hurt so easily. We are thrilled with small things that come from the bosom of the man we love than the treasures of a stranger. That's a woman. Lover of men. Carrier of destinies. Upon her heart, she carries men and women, to their abode of destinies. Storm protector. She has the God given ability to withstand storms. Protecting our children through the storms of life. Woman of Sacrifice. She can sacrifice anything, to get her family to the top. For her family to live well and in good health. What can i compare a woman too? A teacher of Men. Half of what i know, came from my mother. Thousands have been taught under her tutelage. A woman of Insight. An indepth entity. An institution in her own class. A woman of Nobility. A woman of honour. An Early Riser. Who does not allow her lamp to go in the nite. A woman of Responsibilities. No wonder the Bible says, who can find a virtuous woman? No wonder such women are scarce. They cannot be bought by money. Their price is above rubies. Woman of Standard. Woman of Vision. What can i compare you with? Onto you women, i therefore call. It is time to take your place in destiny. I know you've been betrayed, used, hurt, beaten, shattered. I know you cry from a broken past, from a broken heart. I want you to dry your tears. You are a woman of substance. A woman of vision. A woman of insight. Its not over yet untill you win. You must rise from the trash can, men have put you. You must rise from the ashes. You must look into the future and build your dreams. Abstain from relationship for awhile. I know you long for love. You long for appreciation. I know. But, you see, you can't love with a broken heart. First, be healed. Lay hold on your destiny. Love You! Lavish love on that woman inside. Appreciate that gender. You are not what men say that you are, but, what you say of yourself. You can rise from that trash can. You don't need to sell your body to eat, to live. You're more valueable than that. You are going to be a mother tomorrow. You must look at your tomorrow, and deny yourself of pleasure of today. There are still men who will hunt for your worth. Who will not defile you. Who respects your sanctuary, your passion and your life. They are men embodied in wisdom and faithfulness. Men like eagles. Who carry you to a greater level than where you are. Men who fire your passion, supporter of your success. Men of substance. Men, who don't toil with destinies. Drier of tears. Men of compassion. Men of mercy. My dear, they exist, But, they are SCARCE. You find such men on your knees. Faithful men lies with your maker. Test men to see if they have these qualities. B'cos only with such men, lies your happiness. Dry your tears now. There's work to do. You have destroyed your womb? There's hope. Go in forgiveness to your maker. There are spare parts to be claimed. Don't bow your head in shame, once you've realized your error. Let him clean you up and bring glory and beauty out of your ashes. He has done it for thousands of people, He'll do it for you. Let me tell you a story. There was a woman who was born and abandoned. Left to die. When she was born, her navel was not cut, neither was she washed in water to supple her. Neither was she salted at all, nor swaddled at all. No eye pitied her nor had compassion upon her. She was cast out in the open field. No one believed in her gender. Believing that she had no future. Until God came and brought someone into her life who cleaned her up,and nurtured her. He watched her grow. And when are breasts were formed and her hair grown, naked and bare, he saw that it was time of love, so he covered her and made a covenant to marry her. As if that was not enough, he clothed her and lavished her with gifts till she was exceedingly beautiful and prospered. She became famous, b'cos she got in contact with God who brought her to her soulmate and her life changed. Such men still do exist and you must find them through God. I brought this up, b'cos i realized that some people are scared of marriage, due to the rate at which divorce is escalating. Two love birds are so thrilled with their lives that they decided to knot the ties. Its the reality on ground. Many people prepare for their wedding day without adequate preparation for the marriage. And the wedding ceremony is never the same thing as the marriage. Don't mix the two together.Its not the age that shows the maturity of getting married, but the full understanding of the concept of marriage in itself. Learning from home is not enough. Some people do not come from a happy home. They saw hell in their parents marriage and wonder, is this all to marriage? Some marry b'cos of the ring. Remember, its not all relationships that end up in marriage. Remember, A BROKEN RELATIONSHIP IS BETTER THAN A BROKEN MARRIAGE.

The difference? You can restart another relationship but not in marriage. A broken marriage is a mar in one's life. Think twice, before you knot the tie. Remember, marriage is a covenant, coupled with responsibilities.
