I've only been admiring Femi Pedro's looks I thought he was soft and too gentle to handle Lagos, I changed my mind yersterday, the guy has plans for Lagos, and he's got brains too, infact he is an all rounder,
good looking, intelligent, experienced, explicit in presentation of his plans, civilized and I learnt he is Godly too.

I wish he is in PDP, if u get what I mean, all the same let's vote him in, he can turn lagos around.
I wish u will stop the physical admiration. shocked shocked shocked Because i see a capitalist government he intends to run . Our dear Lagos has a lot of poor masses cry cry cry

bidex:
i am not so into politics but the way Kitaun and dayo kanu talks about koro makes me find out who this man really is because i watched the debate and left to me koro handled fashola and the AC in a very matured way.
when he was asked to ask a question he didnt even bother disturbing fashola rada he asked agabaje a question and when it was fasholas turn he asked koro and koro gave more lite into what we the masses didnt even understand too well.
"the fire brigade busses were not achievements of the tinubu govt but where donated by the british govt"
who doesnt know olosoun is a dump site, please tell fashola we are quite grown and he can't decieve us.

i am still undecided on who to vote for but i know i wont vote fashola for sure.
@least he doesnt know politics but he spoke from what he heard from the candidates

kitaun:
@jydoh

what are you talking about? are you sure you watched what we all watched undecided

Obanikoro was definitely the poorest candidate and I can't place what u mean by Koro handling Fashola because by all standards they are not in the same league just like even the debate showed Fashola was the most comported cool
I really believe dat we all are going to comment without fear or favour. This is not a campaign media, we all are literate, letz save our Lagos

@Kitaun
U really got biased when u made the above statement, Because i dont seems to underdatnd what u meant by Koro been the poorest of the lot when he actually proved himself capable of withstanding all what the AC candidate has been feed with at Alausa. He also was expected to attack ' Tinubu's Stooge as we all know' grin grin , but he was matured to ask only a simple question from Jimi.
I beleive all this shows maturity on his part as compared to Pedro that got what he requested from Jimi and flared up immediately.

PoliticsLagos Gubernatorial Debate by jydoh(op): 9:55pm On Mar 22, 2007
I have just finished watching the first leg of the Channels Television organised Lagos State Gubernatorial Debate.

The contestants on board today where;

Jimi Agbaje (DPA)

Babatunde Fashola (AC)

Femi Pedro (Labour Party)

Musiliu Obanikoro (PDP)

Fellow Nairalander let us judge them from what they have said and their acts during the live televised debate.

Who amongst the lot that hitherto you dont have a mind for, has won you over based on his contributions, programs, plans, antecedents and goodwill to the plight of the good people of Lagos that includes all of us.

In short who will you cast your vote for based on the debate.

For me it is Musiliu Obanikoro for handling the AC candidate in the rightful and matured manner.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: First Bank : What A Fraud by jydoh(m): 9:13pm On Mar 14, 2007
I think its a fraud. I applied with a HND Lower Credit, 26years of age, but was not called , & i know of some 1 with thesame dat was invited.

I think age, grade as a lot to do in the selection.

But does it now mean all those dat were invited are university graduates with minimum of 2.2, also HND graduates with a minimum of Upper Credit.

Definitely the answer to the above is NO, angry angry angry if we have fresh graduates numbering thousands with the correct minimum requirement like the above, lying fallow in this country then really our tertiary institutions should b checked 4 lack of good entreprenueral upbringing, only book, book, book,

U and I know dat we dont have such a very high number of graduants with 1st class, 2.1, HND Upper Credit, in this country. Only 2.2 & Lower Credit

Anyway we go survive Sha wink wink wink

(Certain footballers have a fearsome reputation that has no connection with reality.I constantly have to wonder what all the fuss is about

Wayne Rooney springs to mind.He has not had a good consistent performance since Euro 2004 but yet is constantly hailed as if he is the new Pele(witness England's agonisation over his potential abscence in the last World Cup)

Sure he scores some spectacular goals but has yet to perform consistently over an entire season

Deco of Barcelona is another media hype. That man is a shadow of his former self in his early days at Porto when he used to score plenty of goals.I even thought his performance under Mourinho was not as good as is made out now.He was much better before Mourinho became manager of Porto .

Fabregas! That boy is as deadly in front of goal as Emile Hesky yet is hailed as the new Guardiola. His ball winning skills are non-existent and he is one of the prime reasons Arse-anal are in 4th place

There are plenty of others but these are my top 3)

i guess u just dey biased 4 ur view. what of Beckham and d likes what else do u want 4rm deco and fabregas dt appears underneath the praise line for ronaldinho and henry. abeg be factual.

PoliticsRe: Voter Registration Towards 2007 Election In Nigeria by jydoh(m): 7:26pm On Nov 18, 2006
2007 elections, is just a script been acted by the various actress and actors of the game. shocked shocked

automated voters registration, this could have been brought into the country based on request by whicheva agency that needs them, but INEC only requested for the numbers they would need to act their script. grin grin grin

automated machine was used by late Awoniyi and co, and it served the purpose it was meant for, though there were corrupt practices. wink wink wink

so u c, INEC rquested for machines not according to needs, but according to wants by the PDP script. angry angry angry

think about it, Europeans are never failures when it comes to technology, unless u dont have the money, there are a thousand and one company in the world that can supply much more than we need to execute the registration plans successfully. cheesy cheesy cheesy

TravelRe: ADC Plane Crash In Abuja by jydoh(m): 8:34pm On Oct 29, 2006
More reports on the ADC crashed airliner

By BASHIR ADIGUN, Associated Press Writer

ABUJA, Nigeria - A Nigerian airliner carrying 104 people, including the man regarded as a spiritual leader of Nigeria's Sunni Muslims, crashed in a storm Sunday after taking off from the airport in Abuja. Most of those on board were feared dead, but at least six people survived.

The Sunni leader was among those killed in the third passenger jet crash in Nigeria in less than a year.

Debris from the shattered plane, body parts and personal belongings of passengers were strewn over a wooded area the size of a soccer field where the plane went down, about two miles from the end of the runway at the airport in the capital of the oil-rich West African nation.

Smoke rose from the plane's mangled and smoldering fuselage as rescue workers pulled out burned corpses. About 50 bodies were gathered in a corner of the site. The tail of the plane was hanging from a tree.

Sam Adurogboye, an Aviation Ministry spokesman, said the 23-year-old Boeing 737-2B7 crashed just one minute after takeoff. He said the cause of the crash was unknown.

Witnesses said it was raining around the time the aircraft took off. Rains subsided later, but skies remained overcast.

Adurogboye said the plane was carrying 104 passengers and crew members, and he knew of six survivors. "Obviously the rest are feared dead," he said.

Emergency workers recovered the last of the bodies about six hours after the crash.

The aircraft, owned by the private Nigerian airline Aviation Development Co., was headed to the northwest city of Sokoto, about 500 miles northwest of Abuja, state radio said.

In a radio announcement, the Sokoto state government said the sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Maccido, died in the crash. Maccido was the head of the National Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, which determines when Muslim fasts should begin and end and decides policy issues for Nigeria's overwhelmingly Sunni Muslims.

Mustapha Shehu, spokesman for the Sokoto state government, said the sultan's son, Muhammed Maccido, a senator, also was on the flight, along with Abdulrahman Shehu Shagari, son of former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari, who was in office between 1979 and 1983.

About half of Nigeria's 130 million people are Muslims. The country is the most populous in Africa and the continent's leading oil exporter.

At the airport in Abuja, security officials tried to contain a crush of people seeking information about friends or family aboard the plane.

President Olusegun Obasanjo ordered an immediate investigation into the cause of the crash, his spokeswoman Remi Oyo said in a statement.

Oyo said Obasanjo was "deeply and profoundly shocked and saddened , he offers condolences for all Nigerians, especially family, friends and associates of those who may have been on board."

The Nigerian airline ADC last suffered a crash in November 1996, when one of its jets plunged into a lagoon outside Nigeria's main city, Lagos, killing all 143 aboard.

Last year, two planes flying domestic routes crashed within seven weeks of each other, killing 224 people.

Nigeria's air industry is notoriously unsafe. On Oct. 22, 2005, a Boeing 737-200 plane belonging to Bellview airlines crashed soon after takeoff from the country's main city of Lagos, killing all 117 people aboard. On Dec. 10, a McDonnell Douglas DC-9 plane operated by Sosoliso Airlines crashed while approaching the oil city of Port Harcourt, killing 107 people, most of them schoolchildren going home for Christmas.

Earlier this month, authorities released a report blaming the Sosoliso crash on bad weather and pilot error. The investigation of the Bellview crash is still continuing.

After last year's air crashes, Obasanjo vowed to overhaul Nigeria's airline industry, blaming some of the industry's problems on corruption. Airlines were subjected to checks for air-worthiness and some planes were grounded.
